Experiment and parameter optimization of an automatic row following system for the traction beet combine harvester

To improve the automation level and operation quality of China's beet harvester and reduce the loss due to damaged and missed excavation,this study used a self-developed sugar beet combine harvester and field simulation experiment platform,based on the single-factor bench test of the automatic row following system in the early stage,taking hydraulic flow A,spring preload B,and forward speed C which have significant influence on performance indices as test factors,and taking the missed excavation rate,breakage rate and reaction time as performance indices,the orthogonal experimental study on the parameter optimization of the three-factor and three-level automatic row following system with the first-order interaction of various factors was carried *** results of the orthogonal experiments were analyzed using range analysis and variance *** results showed that there were differences in the influence degree,factor priority order and first-order interaction,and the optimal parameter combination on each performance index.A weighted comprehensive scoring method was used to optimize and analyze each *** optimal parameter combination of the overall operating performance of the automatic row following system was A 2B 2C 1,that is,the hydraulic flow was 25 L/min,the forward speed was 0.8 m/s,and the spring preload was 198 *** this combination,the response time was 0.496 s,the missed excavation rate was 2.35%,the breakage rate was 3.65%,and the operation quality was relatively good,which can meet the harvest *** comprehensive optimization results were verified by field experiments with different ridge shapes and different planting *** results showed that the mean values of the missed excavation rate of different planting patterns of conventional straight ridges and extremely large"S"ridges were 2.23%and 2.69%,respectively,and the maximum values were 2.39%and 2.98%,respectively;the average damage rates were 3.38%and 4.14%,and the maxi

To improve the safety of trains running in an undesirable wind environment,a novel louver-type wind barrier is proposed and further studied in this research using a scaled wind tunnel simulation with 1:40 scale *** on the aerodynamic performance of the train-bridge system,the parameters of the louver-type wind barrier are *** to the case without a wind barrier,it is apparent that the wind barrier improves the running safety of trains,since the maximum reduction of the moment coefficient of the train reaches 58%using the louver-type wind barrier,larger than that achieved with conventional wind barriers(fence-type and grid-type).A louver-type wind barrier has more blade layers,and the rotation angle of the adjustable blade of the louver-type wind barrier is 90–180°(which induces the flow towards the deck surface),which is more favorable for the aerodynamic performance of the *** the 60°,90°and 120°wind fairings of the louver-type wind barrier blade,the blunt fairing is disadvantageous to the operational safety of the train.

parameter optimization of a Short Open Optical Path's Oxygen Concentration Detection System Based on WMS

In Wavelength modulation spectroscopy(WMS) system with a short open optical path to detect the oxygen concentration, the system parameter optimization is the preconditions for the accurate inversion of oxygen concentration. Absorption spectroscopy parameters of oxygen were obtained from the HIRTAN database, and the optimal center wavelength and its wavelength offset were confirmed. The laser’s working temperature and direct current were determined according to the absorption peak position of photoelectric detection. Modulation parameters and time constant of lock-in amplifier were determined by analyzing intensity and standard deviation of the second harmonic signal. This method has been applied to detect the oxygen concentration in a glass vial, and the results indicate that the linear correlation coefficient of concentration and the second harmonic intensity is 0.9950. The resolution and stability of the detection system have been improved and it can meet the requirements of industrial field.

The microwave coupled with hot air(MCHA)drying method was used in this test to dry hawthorn slices The effect of initial microwave power density level(6 W/g to 12 W/g),hot air temperature(55℃ to 70℃),and hot air velocity(1 m/s to 3 m/s)on the quality attributes of rehydration ratio(Rf),organic acid(OA)and ascorbic acid(AA)of the dehydrated hawthorn slices was analyzed using a response surface *** orthogonal rotatable central composite with three factors and at five levels was used to develop predictive regression models for the *** prediction mathematical model of Rf,OA and AA of the hawthorn slice was determined by analysis of *** and response variables as well as the prediction mathematical model,the optimal drying process of Rf,OA and AA of the hawthorn slice were determined by using the Design-Expert *** comprehensive optimal conditions were as follows:initial microwave power density 12 W/g,hot air temperature 55℃ and hot air velocity 1.56 m/s.

parameter optimization of Intercalated Meltblown Nonwovens Based on NSGA-II

The preparation process parameters of intercalated meltblown nonwoven materials are complicated, and the relationship between process parameters, structural variables, and product performance needs to be investigated to establish a good mechanism for product performance regulation. In this study, we first used Wilcoxon test and Pearson correlation analysis to investigate the effect of intercalation rate on structural variables and product performance. Then, regression models were constructed to predict the values of each structural variable under different combinations of process parameters. Finally, we constructed a multi-objective constrained optimization problem based on the stepwise regression model and the product variable conditions. The problem was solved using the NSGA-II algorithm. The optimal was achieved when the acceptance distance was 2.892 cm and the hot air speed was 2000 r/min.

To learn from evolutionary experimental data points effectively,an evolutionary Gaussian mixture model based on constraint consistency(EGMM)is proposed and the corresponding method of parameter optimization is ***,the Gaussian mixture model(GMM)is adopted to describe the data points,and the differences between the posterior probabilities of pairwise points under the current parameters are introduced to measure the temporal ***,parameter optimization of EGMM can be realized by evolutionary *** with most of the existing data analysis methods by evolutionary clustering,both the whole features and individual differences of data points are considered in the clustering framework of *** decreases the algorithm sensitivity to noises and increases the robustness of evaluated *** result shows that the clustering sequence really reflects the shift of data distribution,and the proposed algorithm can provide better clustering quality and temporal smoothness.

parameter optimization of Linear Quadratic Controller Based on Genetic Algorithm

The selection of weighting matrix in design of the linear quadratic optimal controller is an important topic in the control theory. In this paper, an approach based on genetic algorithm is presented for selecting the weighting matrix for the optimal controller. Genetic algorithm is adaptive heuristic search algorithm premised on the evolutionary ideas of natural selection and genetic. In this algorithm, the fitness function is used to evaluate individuals and reproductive success varies with fitness. In the design of the linear quadratic optimal controller, the fitness function has relation to the anticipated step response of the system. Not only can the controller designed by this approach meet the demand of the performance indexes of linear quadratic controller, but also satisfy the anticipated step response of close-loop system. The method possesses a higher calculating efficiency and provides technical support for the optimal controller in engineering application. The simulation of a three-order single-input single-output (SISO) system has demonstrated the feasibility and validity of the approach.

Al2O3p/Al composite coatings were prepared on the surface of AZ31 magnesium alloy by plasma spraying technology with mixed powders of Al and Al2O3. An orthogonal test containing six factors and five levels was carried out to acquire the optimum technical parameters. Mierostruetures and properties of the composite coatings were studied. The results show that the coatings consist of Al2O3 particulates distributed uniformly and Al matrix, and the interface between the particulate and matrix is continuous, compact and clean. With increasing the mass fraction of Al2O3 in the mixed powders, the volume fraction of Al2O3 in the coatings iacreases. The Al2O3p/Al composite coating with 14% Al2O3 volume fraction has more compact microstrueture and more satisfactory properties.

The transmission ratio is the key parameters influence power performance and economic performance of electric vehicle （EV）. As a class of heuristic algorithms, Dynamical Evolutionary Algorithm （DEA） is suitable to solve multi-objective optimization problems. This paper presents a new method to optimize the transmission ratio using DEA. The fuzzy constraints and objective function of transmission ratio are established for parameter optimization problem of electric bus transmission. DEA is used to solve the optimiza- tion problem. The transmission system is also designed based on the optimization result. optimization and test results show that the dynamical evolutionary algorithm is an effective method to solve transmission parameter optimization problems.

The classification performance of Support Vector Machine（SVM） is heavily influenced by its kernel parameter g and penalty factor c. in this paper, Cross-validation（CV） based grid-search optimization, CV-based genetic algorithm（GA） and CV-based particle swarm optimization（PSO） are respectively used for parameters optimization in SVM for fault classification of inverters in traction converter. Simulation result shows that SVM can reach the highest classification accuracy by using CV-based grid-search optimization algorithm, and it has been proved to be practical to use CV-based grid-search as SVM’s parameters optimization algorithm for fault classification in traction converter.
