Excited states in low-energy spectra of ^(70-76) Ni are considered. Accordingly, pairing forces in the form of surface delta interaction are employed to account for the formation of the ground state multiplet with seniority v= 2 states. The multiplet splitting is described with mass relationships of masses of neighboring nuclei. Subsequently, the seniority model is adopted to reproduce or predict the states v= 3 in odd-even isotopes and v= 4 in even-even isotopes. The correct account of the 2^(+)_(1) state should allow for the description of the reversed order of J = 4 states with v= 2 and v= 4 observed in experiments. The results obtained are compared with the structure of similar multiplets in N=50 isotones.

In the framework of the Skyrme–Hartree–Fock–Bogoliubov approach with the Sk T interaction, the pairing effects on the proton bubble structures of ^(46)Ar and ^(206)Hg are discussed. In calculations, three kinds of pairing forces (volume, surface and mixed pairing interactions) are used. For ^(46)Ar, it is shown that the bubble structure with the volume pairing is almost the same as that with the mixed pairing. The bubble with the surface pairing is less pronounced than those with the volume and mixed pairings. Analyzing the density distributions and occupation probabilities of the proton s states and the quasi-degeneracy between the proton 2s_(1/2) and 1d_(3/2) orbitals, we explain the difference between the bubble structure with the surface pairing and those with the volume and mixed pairings. For ^(206)Hg, it is seen that the proton density distribution with the surface pairing is different from those with the volume and mixed pairings in the whole region of the radial distance. In addition, it is found that the bubbles with the three pairing forces are different from each other and the least pronounced bubble is obtained with the surface pairing. Thus the selection of the pairing force is important for the study of the nuclear bubble structure.

An approach considering both pairing and anti-pairing correlations in superdeformed(SD)states is proposed.Calculated results show that not only the general changing feature but also the turnover of dynamical moment of inertia with rotational frequency of the first SD band of ^(192)Hg,^(194)Hg,and ^(152)Dy are well described in the approach.It indicates that there exist competition,even change-over between the anti-pairing and pairing effects in the SD states in A~190 and 150 ranges.

We perform a systematic determinant quantum Monte Carlo(DQMC) study of the dominating pairing symmetry in a doped honeycomb lattice.The Hubbard model is simulated over a full range of filling levels for both weak and strong interactions.For weak couplings, the d-wave state dominates.The effective susceptibility as a function of filling shows a peak, and its position moves toward half filling as the temperature is increased, from which the optimal filling of the superconducting ground state is estimated.Although the sign problem becomes severe for strong couplings, the simulations access the lowest temperature at which the DQMC method generates reliable results.As the coupling is strengthened, the d-wave state is enhanced in the high-filling region.Our systematic DQMC results provide new insights into the superconducting pairing symmetry in the doped honeycomb lattice.

Most of the rich philosophical and scientific concepts which nurtured the Chinese thought we know today, were developed during the troubled final end of the era before ours, from V to II centuries. After reading reputed sinologists’ work on the cosmological origin and subsequent evolution of the Chinese concept of parallelism-pairing in poetry, literature, mathematic and other disciplines and since it is a tradition that all branches of knowledge in China are based on the development of those initiatory thoughts, the author asked herself if such knowing on the cosmological genesis of the parallelism concept could also be applied to Chinese medicine, science that describes its coupled structures and functions in pairs, simply based on yinyang, matrix of all pairings. Therefore, this paper proposes to apply those foundations, to explain the pairing of dynamisms in medicine. This work starts out from the oracular inscriptions in ancient times, cosmological basis of these ideas and their applications to Chinese literature and from there translates this approach to the study of the pairings described by Chinese medicine, and thanks to which (qi xue) blood-energy circulation occurs in human beings. Organic and functional pairs described by Chinese medicine are the basic element to understand the concept of health and disease, and this paper is about the cosmological roots of those pairings, the cosmic resonance influence and the numerology influence in them, and the whole is illustrated both through the description of the (obverse-reverse) biao li pair, different from (inside-outside) nei wai, and the functional relationship between these two couples.

competition of isovector and isoscalar pairing in A=18 and 20 even-even N≈Z nuclei is analyzed in the framework of the mean-field plus the dynamic quadurpole-quadurpole, pairing and particle-hole interactions, whose Hamiltonian is diagonalized in the basis U(24)■(U(6)■ S U(3)■ S O(3))■(U(4)■S US(2)■ S UT(2)) in the L = 0 configuration subspace. Besides the pairing interaction, it is observed that the quadurpole-quadurpole and particlehole interactions also play a significant role in determining the relative positions of low-lying excited 0^+ and 1^+ levels and their energy gaps, which can result in the ground state first-order quantum phase transition from J = 0 to J = 1.The strengths of the isovector and isoscalar pairing interactions in these even-even nuclei are estimated with respect to the energy gap and the total contribution to the binding energy. Most importantly, it is shown that although the mechanism of the particle-hole contribution to the binding energy is different, it is indirectly related to the Wigner term in the binding energy.

Crew pairing is a sequence of flights beginning and ending at the same crewbase. Crew pairing planning is one of the primary processes in airline crew scheduling;it is also the primary cost-determining phase in airline crew scheduling. Optimizing crew pairings in an airline timetable helps minimize operational crew costs and maximize crew utilization. There are numerous restrictions that must be considered and just as many regulations that must be satisfied in crew pairing generation. The most important regulations—and the ones that make crew pairing planning a highly constrained optimization problem—are the the limits of the flight and the duty periods. Keeping these restrictions and regulations in mind, the main goal of the optimization is the generation of low cost sets of valid crew pairings which cover all flights in the airline’s timetable. For this research study, We examined studies about crew pairing optimization and used these previously existing methods of crew pairing to develop a new solution of the crew pairing problem using genetic algorithms. As part of the study we created a new genetic operator—called perturbation operator.Unlike traditional genetic algorithm implementations, this new perturbation operator provides much more stable results, an obvious increase in the convergence rate, and takes into account the existence of multiple crewbases.

The growing ubiquity of Wi-Fi networks combined with the integration of low-cost Wi-Fi chipsets in all devices makes Wi-Fi as the wireless technology the most used for accessing to internet [1]. This means that the development of a Wi-Fi strategy has become an imperative for almost all operators worldwide. In this context, APs (Access Points) have to become as secure as cellular networks. Furthermore, authentication process between a mobile device and an access point has to be automated, without user constraining configuration. For reaching this purpose, client must have different credentials depending on authentication method. Our goal is to create an architecture that is both ergonomic and flexible in order to meet the need for connection and client mobility. We use NFC technology as a radio channel for starting communication with the network. The communication initiation will instantiate a virtual Wi-Fi AP and distribute all policies and access certificates for an authentication based on EAP-TLS (it could be extended to any EAP method for 802.1X standard). The end result of our new topology is to allow access to services through a virtual Wi-Fi AP with an enterprise-grade in a public hotspot.

Influence of Ca Content on Binding Energy and Cooper pairing in Y1-xCaxBa2Cu3O7-δCompound

In this research, the influence of calcium content on the binding energy and Cooper pairing is investigated for the high temperature superconducting Y1-xCaxBa2Cu3O7-δ compound where x = 0 - 0.2). This is done by using model considering that the formation of Cooper pairs happens during tunneling mechanism of holes between the two CuO2 layers in the YCBCO crystal which are considered as forming adjacent potential wells. In this work, we make some modifications on the mentioned model and a modified equation for the binding energy as a function of Ca concentration is formulated to study the effect of Ca content by considering the change in the distance between the CuO2 layer as a function of Ca. The calculated results agree very well with experimental results. This happens because the Ca2+ substitution for Y3+ leads to decreasing the distance between the two CuO2 layers and hence potential energy of the system will be decreased. This leads to decreasing the binding energy between the Cooper pairs, and decreasing the distance between the two CuO2 layers increasing the tunneling probability of holes between the two CuO2 layers and thus increasing conduction mechanism and thus increasing current density, but this will decrease the energy gap and as a result decrease the critical temperature. The calculated results agree very well with experimental results.
