Nanoscale metal-organic frameworks(nano MOFs)have emerged as a promising biomedical nanoplatform because of their unique ***,the exploration of nano MOFs in photoacoustic(pa)imaging is still ***,a novel hydrogen sulfide(H2 S)-activated nano copper-based MOF(Cu-MOF)was developed as a near-infrared(NIR)ratiometric pa probe for in vivo monitoring of endogenous H2 S level and orthotopic colorectal cancer imaging via in situ reaction of nano Cu-MOFs with endogenous H2 S that is closely associated with tumor growth and proliferation in colon *** synthesized nano Cu-MOFs displayed excellent pa responsiveness towards tumor H2 S level with high selectivity and rapid *** result suggests the developed probe may provide a unique opportunity to investigate the malignant behaviors of H2 S-associated events in vivo.

Integrating photoacoustic(pa)and ultrasound(US)into a handheld probe to perform P A/US dual-modal imaging has been widely studied over the past few ***,optical fuence decreases quickly in deeper tissue due to light scattering and absorption,which would signifi-cantly affect the quantitative pa *** this paper,we performed a fluence compensation for a pa imaging study of human *** comparison of P A/US image with and without optical fuence compensation demonstrated that the fuence compensation could effectively improve imaging quality for handheld probe.

H_(2)O_(2)-sensitive nanoscale coordination polymers for photoacoustic tumors imaging via in vivo chromogenic assay

Photoacoustic(pa)imaging with much deeper tissue penetration and better spatial resolution had been widely employed for the prevention and diagnosis of many *** this study,a new type of hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2)T-activated photoacoustic nanoprobe[Mn-AH nanoscale coordination polymer nanodots(NCPs)]was successfully synthesized by a simple one-step method in water phase containing 2,20-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid)(ABTS),horse radish peroxidase(HRP),and manganese ion(Mn^(2+).After modification by polyethylene glycol(PEG),Mn-AH NCPs exhibited excellent stability and biocompatibility for in vivo H_(2)O_(2)-responsive chromogenic assay with great speci¯city and *** the presence of H_(2)O_(2),colorless ABTS would be converted by HRP into the oxidized form with strong near-infrared(NIR)absorbance,enabling photoacoustic detection of endogenous H_(2)O_(2).Using H_(2)O_(2)-activated Mn-AH NCPs,we have successfully performed pa imaging and H_(2)O_(2)detection of subcutaneous murine colon CT26 tumor and deep-seated orthotopic bladder *** to the inherent Mn element existence inside the Mn-AH,this nanoprobe also serves as a good T1-weighted magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)contrast agent ***,after accomplishing its imaging functions,the Mn-AH NCPs could be cleared out from the body without any long-term toxicity,providing a new opportunity for cancer diagnosis and treatment.
