Laminated composite is a new type of composite structure which is used to improve the fracture toughness and flexure strength and is good for optimizing the mechanical properties of intermetallics. On the basis of bionic principle, the optimized design (via establishing the mathematical model, stress intensity factor K_Ⅰ was computed by the finite element method) of Ti/TiAl laminated composite was studied by varying the thickness ratio and layer amounts, then the raw materials of Ti and TiAl were evaporated and deposited alternatively to form laminated metal/intermetallic composites in vacuum chamber by electron beam physical vapor deposition method. The results show that the toughness of TiAl is improved and agrees well with theoretical analysis.

Applying the direct simulation Monte Carlo （DSMC） method developed for the cold atom system, we explore the possibility of a high-efflciency sympathetic cooling process between 87Rb and 40K without gravitational force in an optical trap. The relation between the pre-cooling of Bosons and the sympathetic cooling efficiency is also studied. We find that the absence of gravitational force is beneficial to the process of sympathetic cooling. fhrthermore, an inefficient pre-cooling process will in fact hamper the creation of Fermi degenerate gases. This suggests the advantages of sympathetic cooling in microgravity.

A response surface method was used to optimize the purification and concentration of gluconic acid from fermentation broth using an integrated membrane system. Gluconobacter oxydans was used for the bioconversion of the glucose in sugarcane juice to gluconic acid (concentration 45 g·L^-1) with a yield of 0.9 g·g^-1. The optimum operating conditions, such as trans-membrane pressure (TMP), pH, cross-flow rate (CFR) and initial gluconic acid concentration, were determined using response surface methodology. Five different types of polyamide nanofiltration membranes were screened and the best performing one was then used for downstream purification of gluconic acid in a flat sheet cross-flow membrane module. Under the optimum conditions (TMP=12 bar and CFR=400 L·h^-1), this membrane retained more than 85% of the unconverted glucose from the fermentation broth and had a gluconic acid permeation rate of 88% with a flux of 161 L·m^-2·h^-1. Using response surface methods to optimize this green nanofiltration process is an effective way of controlling the production of gluconic acid so that an efficient separation with high flux is obtained.

The sediment-trapped dam (STD) is one of the major engineering measures in preventing debris flow, while the design of such an STD has been proven as the most complicated systematic engineering. Supported by geographical information system (GIS)method and techniques, this paper presents an optimized STD design model which is built through calculating STD height and reservoir capacity, designing cross section,analyzing load capacity and structural stability. Guided by a principle of taking both the stability of STD as the constraint condition and the optimized design as a nonlinear programming, this model makes it possible for a precise calculation of the STD volume and its reservoir capacity, aiming at getting the minimum ratio between project investment and reservoir capacity. This model preliminarily achieves the optimized designing of important parameters of STD involving in STD volume (project investment), dam stability and reservoir capacity (sediments trapped by STD), and also provides a new solution attempting for the optimized design of project in preventing debris flow.

We fabricated three phosphorescent blue organic light-emitting devices based on blue phosphor of iri-dium（Ⅲ） bis[（4,6-difluorophenyl）-pyridinato-N,C2＇]（Firpic） with different electron transporting layer（ETL） materialsBy analyzing efficiency curves and spectral characteristics, the significant effect of ETL on many aspects of deviceperformance was demonstrated. With optimized ETL, the characteristics of devices, such as voltage and efficiencywere significantly improved. Combined with a yellow phosphor of iridium（Ⅲ） bis（4-phenylthieno[3,2-c]pyridinato-N,C2＇） acetylacetonate（PO-01）, phosphorescent white organic light-emitting devices（PhWOLEDs） were ***, with an aim to promote the performance of the PhWOLEDs~ a thin layer of 4,4＇,4＂-tri（N-carbazolyl）-triphenylamine（TCTA） was introduced between two light emission layers, and the diffusion of excitons was *** outperformance device fabricated with 4,7-diphenyl-l,10-phenanthroline（Bphen） as the electron transportinglayer exhibited a peak current efficiency of 36.6 cd/A, a peak power efficiency of 19.2 lm/W, and the InternationalCommission on Illumination coordinates（0.37, 0.46）.

By means of the optimized expansion technique, the D + 1-dimensional quantum sine-Gordon （sG） field theory is studied nonperturbatively for both zero and finite *** 1 + 1 and 2+ 1 dimensions, the theory is finite when momentum cutoff Λ tends to *** temperature-dependent Coleman phase transition conditions we obtained reduce to theknown results gcr2 =8π for 1+ 1 dimensions and gcr2= 16π/mRO for 2+ 1 dimensions whenT→0. Especially, gcr tends to zero at T→∞ limit both for 1 + 1 and 2 + 1 dimensions. Thereis no critical temperature making the Φ= 0 vacuum unstable. In 3 + 1 dimensions, if g2 isfinite and Λ→∞, the theory is trivial. There is no nontrivial "precarious" phase for the3+ 1-dimensional sG model. The effective potential for the "autonomous" phase has asimilar form as the classical potential and the temperature effects only make contribution tothe infinitesimal part of this phase.
