Synthesis of triarylmethanes via metal-free reductive coupling of diaryl ketone, tosylhydrazide, and arylboronic acids has been developed. This methodology is realized via one-pot two-step reactions involving the preparation of N-tosylhydrazones by reacting tosylhydrazide with diaryl ketone derivatives, followed by the reductive coupling with arylboronic acid in the presence of potassium carbonate to afford various triarylmethanes analogues in moder- ate to good yields. Importantly, the system presented here enables the use of easily accessible starting materials and a series of substrates with diverse functional group could be tolerant in this reaction. This approach could also be particularly useful for the synthesis of triaryl-substituted carbazolyl compounds.

Pyridinone derivatives are of great interest in medicinal chemistry where they were found to be potent to various diseases. Their metal complexes added more value to their applications. Here, we have synthesized two 2-pyridinone derivatives(3-cyano-4-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-6-phenyl-2(1 H)-pyridinone and 3-cyano-4-chlorophenyl-6-(4-tolyl)-2(1 H)-pyridinone) using one-pot multicomponent system. They were well characterized using spectroscopic techniques like nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR-1 H & 13 C), Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR) and UV/Vis spectroscopy. The final structures were determined using single-crystal X-ray diffraction technique which helps us to determine their geometries. Density functional theory(DFT) and time-dependent density functional theory(TD-DFT) with suitable basis-sets of calculations have correctly simulated these spectroscopic parameters. The intramolecular charge transfer(ICT) of both substrates has been discussed using natural bond orbital(NBO) technique. Molecular electrostatic potential(MEP) surfaces showed their reactive locations for intermolecular charge transfer. Compared to p-nitroaniline(pNA), both substrates were shown to have substantial molecular hyperpolarizability.

Constructing“nanoglue”between inorganic electroactive species and conductive carbon scaffolds is an effective strategy to improve their compatibility and binding interaction,holding a great promise for fabricating high-performance hybrid electrodes for ***,multistep reactions are usually required to obtain these multicomponent systems,thus giving rise to the complicated and time-consuming ***,we for the first time,demonstrate a green one-pot method to anchor coaxial double-layer MnO_(2)/Ni(OH)_(2)nanosheets on electrospun carbon nanofibers(CNFs)(denoted as MNC),where the intermediate MnO_(2)layer serves as the“nanoglue”to couple the vertically aligned Ni(OH)_(2)nanosheets and conductive *** from the unique chemical composition and hierarchical architecture,the resultant electrode delivers outstanding electrochemical performance,including an excellent specific capacitance(1133.3 F g^(-1)at 1 A g^(-1))and an ultrahigh rate capability(844.4 F g^(-1)at 20 A g^(-1)).Moreover,the asymmetric supercapacitor assembled by using the MNC as positive electrode and the CNF as negative electrode can achieve an optimal energy density of 35.1 Wh kg^(-1)and a maximum power density of 8000 W kg^(-1).The one-pot strategy that stabilizes electroactive metal hydroxides on conductive carbons using a MnO_(2)“nanoglue”to design advanced hybrid electrodes is expected to be broadly applicable not only to the supercapacitor technology but also to other electrochemical applications.

A simple one pot synthesis of polysubstituted pyrroles via ketenimine formation/Ag(l)-catalyzed alkyne cycloisomerisation has been *** easily accessible phosphorane ylide derivatives reacted with isocyanates,producing highly active ketenimines that were then treated with amines,which afforded substituted pyrroles by a S-exo-dig cyclization/isomerization in the presence of a Ag(l)catalyst in good overall yields.

In this study,a convenient method of preparing the substrate is proposed with one-pot synthesis of silver colloid under body heat,and the SERS detection uses the fresh substrate to avoid the drawback of substrates’short life of *** synthesis of silver colloid is carried out in a 10 mL vial by using ascorbic acid as a reductant and trisodium citrate as a *** vial is grasped with the palm of the experimenter for several minutes without *** proposed method is simple,rapid,green energy and *** adjusting the concentration of trisodium citrate,not only the particle size can be controlled from about 110 nm to 50 nm but also the homogeneity of nanoparticles can be *** a SERS substrate,the silver colloid has high batch reproducibility and showed good SERS *** relative standard deviation between different manufacturers is 5.51%when the substrate of silver colloid is used for the detection of rhodamine 6 *** the substrate,the lowest detection concentrations of rhodamine 6 G,crystal violet,enrofloxacin,melamine and leucomalachite green are 1.0×10-8,6.1×10-8,1.4×10-6,7.1×10-5 and 5.1×10-8 mol/L,*** demonstrate that the developed method has the advantage of convenience and high efficiency in the field preparation of reliable SERS substrate.
