We report the divergent synthesis of benzannulated 2,8-dioxabicyclo[3.2.1]octanes and 2,3-dihydrobenzofurans using the concept of extended Corey-Chaykovsky *** this concept,2-hydroxychalcones were treated with the Corey ylide providing highly reactive donor-acceptor cyclopropanes that were introduced in a one pot manner for further transformations.

In this work, nickel metal supported on different supports(SiO_2, Al_2O_3, ZSM-5) were prepared by spraying nickel nitrate on the supports and calcined at 873 K. Then, they were characterized by XRD, XRF, N_2 adsorption–desorption, NH_3-TPD, MCH-TPD, H_2-TPR, and pyridine-FTIR,and tested as catalysts for the dehydrogenation aromatization and isomerization of methylcyclohexane(MCH) under the conditions of S-Zorb catalytic adsorption desulfurization(T ? 673 K, P ? 1.5 MPa, WHSV ? 5 h^(-1)). The H2-TPR results showed that the interaction of NiO with support decreased in the order of NiO/ZSM-5-Fe octane number of gasoline.

In this paper,a novel copper-based catalyst for FCC gasoline improving the ability of removal the sulfur and avoiding the loss of the octane number from olefin saturation by reactive adsorption desulfurization(RADS) was *** series of Cu/Zn O-Al_2 O_3 catalysts were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction(XRD),N_2 adsorption analysis and temperature-programmed reduction(TPR) studies,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),scanning electron microscope(SEM) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM).The experiment results showed that the catalysts had an optimum desulfurization ability with copper loading 6 wt%,which the sulfur contents of product decreased less than 10 μg/g and olefin contents decreased from 16.19% to 14.14% for the long period *** appropriate Cu loading content could lead to the high active and low apparent activation energy(E_a).Therefore,the Cu-based catalyst may become a novel catalyst for second-generation for reactive adsorption desulfurization,which achieves the high desulfurization active and low olefins saturation to satisfy the upgrading the product.

In order to reduce the olefin content in gasoline manufactured by the MGG （Maximizing Liquefied Gas and Gasoline） process while retaining the LPG yield, RIPP has developed a novel catalyst consisting of a more pore-opened matrix and the modified Y-zeolite and the ZRP zeolite modified with metal oxides. Test results have revealed that compared with the commercial catalyst RAG under comparable reaction conditions the reaction conversion rate and product distribution provided by the novel catalyst were similar, but the olefin content in gasoline obtained thereof was decreased with the octane rating unchanged along with a slight reduction of olefin content in the LPG fraction. The hydrothermal stability of the novel catalyst was better than the commercial catalyst RAG.

This article analyzed the problems arising from retrofitting the 800 kt/a virgin diesel hydrofining unit into a 1.0 Mt/a OCT-M gasoline HDS unit at the refinery of Luoyang Petrochemical Company, and the optimized measures aimed at improvements in operation of HDS unit. The preliminary calibration results have indicated the high desulfurization rate and good selectivity of the HDS technology to fulfill the demand of Luoyang Petrochemical Company for product quality upgrading with the targets of technical revamp fully implemented.

Kinetics of the steam reformig of n-butane,n-hexane,n-heptane,n-nonane and i-octane on Z409 catalystwere studied at atmospheric pressure by using an internal recycle gradientless *** reaction temperaturewas varied in the range of 743-853K,the steam carbon molar ratio *** experimental results showed thatthe reforming products contained no hydrocarbon other than *** addition,the product distributionof different n-paraffins were similar,but the product distribution of i-octane was different from that of n-paraffins.A reaction scheme for the steam reforming of paraffin has been proposed and the hyperbolic type rateequations were *** is clear that the obtained kinetic model could simulate the experimental results ofi-octane as well as different n-paraffins satisfactorily.
