貉"白鼻子"病是貉的一种新发疾病,多数学者认为其为营养代谢性疾病,发病可能和某些微量元素的缺乏有关,但现在没有得到证实。本研究在尝试建立用火焰原子吸收光谱法和荧光吸收光谱法测定貉血清、被毛中铜、锌、铁、硒的方法的基础上,测定了患"白鼻子"病貉及健康貉血清、被毛中铜、锌、铁、硒的含量。"白鼻子"病貉血清铜、锌、铁、硒的含量分别为(592.78±110.37)μg/L、(2.019±0.177)mg/L、(28.410±2.826)mg/L、(166.771±38.661)ng/L,和正常貉相比((709.84±76.56)μg/L、(4.759±1.925)mg/L、(42.352±23.197)mg/L、(303.92±59.527)ng/L),其血清铜、锌、铁、硒含量降低且存在显著差异(P=0.002、P=0.00、P=0.0495、P=0.00)。"白鼻子"病貉被毛铜、锌、铁、硒的含量分别为(17.66±3.61)μg/g、201.43μg/g、(227.59±143.279)μg/g、(797.429±384.43)ng/g,和正常貉相比((16.93±2.86)μg/g、(158.10±31.5)μg/g、(179.613±90.683)μg/g、(612.67±272.410)ng/g),其被毛锌、硒含量降低且存在显著差异(P=0.0495,P=0.045),铜、铁含量降低但显著不差异(P=0.395,P=0.236)。试验结果表明貉"白鼻子"病的发病和其铜、锌、铁、硒的代谢异常有关。

Projectile size effect is of great importance since the scaling researches are extensively applied to concrete penetration investigations. This paper numerically deals with the projectile size effect on penetration resistance via the recently developed Lattice Discrete Particles Model(LDPM) which is featured with mesoscale constitutive laws governing the interaction between adjacent particles to account for cohesive fracture, strain hardening in compression and compaction due to pore collapse. Simulations of two different penetration tests are carried to shed some light on the size effect issue. The penetration numerical model is validated by matching the projectile deceleration curve of and predicting the depth of penetration(DOP). By constant velocity penetration simulations, the target resistance is found to be dependent on the projectile size. By best fitting numerical results of constant velocity penetration, a size effect law for target resistance is proposed and validated against literature data. Moreover, the size effect is numerically obtained in the projectile with longer extended nose part meanwhile the shorter extended nose is found to improve the DOP since the projectile nose is sharpened.

Background: In China, upper airway cough syndrome (UACS) is only less frequent than cough-variant asthma and accounts for 24.71% of chronic cough. This study aimed to determine the pathogenetic constituents and factors affecting UACS in children of different age groups, and to identify clinical clues for diagnosing UACS and a method for curative effect evaluation. Methods: A total of 103 children with UACS whose chief complaint was chronic cough were studied from January to November 2013 at Children's Hospital, Capital Institute of Pediatrics. According to their age, children with UACS were divided into 3 groups: nursing children, pre-school children, and school-age children. We analyzed the differences in pathogenetic constituents and factors affecting UACS in children. The effect of UACS treatment was evaluated by the visual analog scale (VAS) and an objective examination. Chi-squared test and analysis of variance were performed with the SPSS 19.0 statistical software. Results: There was a high incidence of UACS in school-age children. Rhinitis with adenoid hypertrophy was the main cause of 103 suspected UACS cases. Adenoidal hypertrophy was the major cause of UACS in the pre-school children group, while rhinitis was the major reason in the nursing children and school-age children groups. Among the 103 children, there were 45 allergenpositive children, with no significant difference among different age groups. VAS scores in the different disease groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment (all P<***). VAS scores in different disease groups showed significant differences, except for 12 vs. 24 weeks after treatment (P = 0.023). Different age groups had different secondary complaints. Conclusions: There are different pathogeneses in different UACS age groups. Clinical treatment efficacy of children with UACS can be evaluated by the VAS combined with an objective examination. We recommend that the course of treatment should be 12 weeks.

Liver disease is characterized by breath exhalation of peculiar volatile organic compounds(VOCs).Thanks to the availability of sensitive technologies for breath analysis,this empiric approach has recently gained increasing attention in the context of hepatology,following the good results obtained in other fields of *** the first studies that led to the identification of selected VOCs for pathophysiological purposes,subsequent research has progressively turned towards the comprehensive assessment of exhaled breath for potential clinical *** VOC patterns were found to discriminate subjects with liver cirrhosis,to rate disease severity,and,eventually,to forecast adverse clinical outcomes even beyond existing *** results suggest that breath analysis could be useful also for detecting and staging hepatic encephalopathy and for predicting steatohepatitis in patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver ***,clinical translation is still hampered by a number of methodological limitations,including the lack of standardization and the consequent poor comparability between studies and the absence of external validation of obtained *** the low-cost and easy execution at bedside of the new technologies(e-nose),larger and well-structured studies are expected in order to provide the adequate level of evidence to support VOC analysis in clinical practice.
