Based on the generalized vaxiational principle of magneto-thermo-elasticity of a ferromagnetic thin shell established （see, Analyses on nonlinear coupling of magneto-thermo- elasticity of ferromagnetic thin shell--I）, the present paper developed a finite element modeling for the mechanical-magneto-thermal multi-field coupling of a ferromagnetic thin shell. The numerical modeling composes of finite element equations for three sub-systems of magnetic, thermal and deformation fields, as well as iterative methods for nonlinearities of the geometrical large-deflection and the multi-field coupling of the ferromagnetic shell. As examples, the numerical simulations on magneto-elastic behaviors of a ferromagnetic cylindrical shell in an applied magnetic field, and magneto-thermo-elastic behaviors of the shell in applied magnetic and thermal fields are carried out. The results are in good agreement with the experimental ones.

The thermal entanglement of spin-1 atoms with nonlinear coupling in an optical lattice chain is investigated for two-particle and multi-particle systems. It is found that the relation between linear coupling and nonlinear coupling is the key to determine thermal entanglement, which shows in what kinds of atoms thermal entanglement exists. This result is true both for two-particle and multi-particle systems. For multi-particle systems, the thermal entanglement does not decrease greatly and the critical temperature decreases only slightly.

This paper deals with global synchronization in arrays of coupled Lur’e systems with nonlinear delayed *** with Krasovskii-Lyapunov functional and Kronecker product technique,two novel synchronization criteria are presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities（LMIs）based on convex combination,in which the conditions are heavily dependent on the bounds of time delay and its *** employing LMI in Matlab Toolbox and adjusting some matrix parameters in the derived results,we can realize the designing and applications of the coupled *** effectiveness of the proposed methods can be demonstrated by one numerical example with simulations.

We study the thermoelectric field for an electrically and thermally insulated coated hole of arbitrary shape embedded in an infinite nonlinearly coupled thermoelectric material subject to uniform remote electric current density and uniform remote energy flux.A conformal mapping function for the coating and matrix is introduced,which simultaneously maps the hole boundary and the coating-matrix interface onto two concentric circles in the image *** analytic continuation,we derive a general solution in terms of two auxiliary *** general solution satisfies the insulating conditions along the hole boundary and all of the continuity conditions across the perfect coating-matrix *** the two auxiliary functions have been obtained in the elementary-form,the four original analytic functions in the coating and matrix characterizing the thermoelectric fields are completely and explicitly *** design of a neutral coated circular hole that does not disturb the prescribed thermoelectric field in the thermoelectric matrix is achieved when the relative thickness parameter and the two mismatch parameters satisfy a simple ***,the neutrality of a coated circular thermoelectric inhomogeneity is also accomplished.

A hybrid calibration approach based on support vector machines （SVM） is proposed to characterize nonlinear cross coupling of multi-dimensional transducer. It is difficult to identify these unknown nonlinearities and crosstalk just with a single conventional calibration approach. In this paper, a hybrid model comprising calibration matrix and SVM model for calibrating linearity and nonlinearity respectively is built up. The calibration matrix is determined by linear artificial neural network （ANN）, and the SVM is used to compensate for the nonlinear cross coupling among each dimension. A simulation of the calibration of a multi-dimensional sensor is conducted by the SVM hybrid calibration method, which is then utilized to calibrate a six-component force/torque transducer of wind tunnel balance. From the calibrating results, it can be indicated that the SVM hybrid calibration method has improved the calibration accuracy significantly without increasing data samples, compared with calibration matrix. Moreover, with the calibration matrix, the hybrid model can provide a basis for the design of transducers.

In this study, we investigate the nonlinear cou- pling magneto-electric （ME） effect of a giant magnetostric- tive/piezoelectric composite cylinder. The nonlinear consti- tutive relations of the ME material are taken into account, and the influences of the nonlinear material properties on the ME effect are investigated for the static and dynamic cases, respectively. The influences of different constraint conditions on the ME effect are discussed. In the dynamic case considering nonlinear material properties, the double frequency ME response （The response frequency is twice the applied magnetic frequency） is obtained and discussed, which can be used to explain the experiment phenomenon in which the input signal with frequency f is converted to the output signal with 2f in ME laminated structures. Some calculations on nonlinear ME effect are conducted. The obtained results indicate that the nonlinear material properties affect not only the magnitude of the ME effect in the static case but also the ME response frequency in the dynamic case
