In recent years, nonclassical effects of light field havealways been a very conspicuous subject. In this field an effective approach is to construct as many as possible the nonclassical states of light field that are allowed in the frame of quantum mechanics and then to study their properties, so as to find out the relations of different nonclassical effects or states of light field and to discover new nonclassical effects or states of light field.

In this article, we discuss the long-time dynamical behavior of the stochastic non-autonomous nonclassical diffusion equations with linear memory and additive white noise in the weak topological space . By decomposition method of the solution, we give the necessary condition of asymptotic compactness of the solutions, and then prove the existence of random attractor, while the time-dependent forcing term only satisfies an integral condition.

In this paper, we investigate the distribution statistics of photons in a single mode radiation field subjected to two-photon absorption (TPA) and the factors that contribute to squeezing and antibunching of photons, leading to the generation of nonclassical light. TPA is a nonlinear optical phenomenon in which the atoms interact with the light field by absorbing two photons simultaneously. The motivation to study TPA is the recent intense activity on nanocrystallites/quantum dots. Further, it is the only nonlinear optical phenomenon that can be analytically studied. The simultaneous occurrence of squeezing and antibunching is studied with small initial photon numbers by solving the master equation for TPA of a single mode radiation directly by numerical integration, without going through analytical procedure. The results are compared with those of analytical/numerical procedures available. Further, the discussion on the parameters of squeezing and antibunching for short-time (ST) as well as long-time is done comprehensively in the present work by taking up the ST approximation and summation of ST (SST) procedure along with the exact numerical method.

Generating desired states is a prerequisite in quantum information. Some desired states can be generated by a quantum-scissors device(QSD). We present a detailed analysis of the properties of the generated states, including average photon numbers and intensity gains. The theoretical analysis shows that there is a nondeterministic amplification in terms of the average photon number under the condition that the average photon number of the input state is less than 1. In contrast to the input states, the generated states show the nonclassical property described by the negativity of the Wigner function. Furthermore, we generalize the QSD to truncate arbitrary photon number terms of the input states, which may be useful in high-dimensional quantum information processing.

We theoretically study the transition dynamics of a two-component Bose-Einstein condensate driven by a train of weak δ-shaped laser pulses. We find that the atomic system can experience peculiar resonant transition even under weak optical excitations and derive the resonance condition by the perturbation method. Employing this mechanism, we propose a scheme to obtain an atomic ensemble with desired odd/even atom number and also a scheme to prepare a nonclassical state of the many-body system with fixed atom number.
