Thetechnology ofthepowdermixeddielectric-EDM(PMD-EDM)isextensively *** onthe ***,SKD11 samplesare processed by micro-EDM,withNipowderdiametersof 1-3μmsuspending *** beenmadetostudy thesurfacecharacteristicsofnew formedalloy asthenickelpowder penetratesintothesurface recastlayer,and compared with EDMwithoutnickel *** the experimental results,the enhancement of current causes the increasing of electrode gap,the powder is relatively easy to insert to the discharge gap,the flowing of powder is more smoothly in the electrode gap,and the powder is not easily accumulated,which can effectively reduce the discharge interference produced by the *** appropriate concentration of powder reduces the saturation of powder in the electrode gap,and increases the dispersion of *** increasing of current can improve the processing ***,it also increases the electrode wear rate,crack density,recast layer thickness and surface *** the excessively low current,the powder is easy to accumulate instead of penetrating into and the discharge interference is prone to generate,due to the excessively low discharge *** the machining conditions,the concentration 7 g/l and current0.3 A are as expected.
