＜正＞Countries having the most impact on chemical engineering education for its first one hundred years include the USA,United Kingdom,Germany and France and yet the undergraduate pro- grams in each of these countries are very different in structure and to a lesser extent in curricula. For the purposes of this paper these countries and those that have developed similar education sys- tems *** and Australia are regarded as "Old world".
