The H_∞ performance analysis and controller design for linear networked control systems(NCSs) are *** NCSs are considered a linear continuous system with time-varying interval input delay by assuming that the sensor is time-driven and the logic Zero-order-holder(ZOH) and controller are *** on this model,the delay interval is divided into two equal subintervals for H_∞ performance *** improved H_∞ stabilization condition is obtained in linear matrix inequalities(LMIs) framework by adequately considering the information about the bounds of the input delay to construct novel Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals(LKFs).For the purpose of reducing the conservatism of the proposed results,the bounds of the LKFs differential cross terms are properly estimated without introducing any slack matrix ***,the H_∞ controller is reasonably designed to guarantee the robust asymptotic stability for the linear NCSs with an H_∞ performance level γ.Numerical simulation examples are included to validate the reduced conservatism and effectiveness of our proposed method.

This paper deals with the stochastic stability of networked control systems with the presence of network- induced delay and transmitted data dropout. Based on the Lyapunov approach, sufficient conditions for the mean-square stability of the networked control system are derived subject that the sequence of transmission interval is driven by an identically independently distributed sequence and by a finite state Markov chain, respectively. Stabilization controllers are constructed in terms of linear matrix inequalities correspondingly. An example is provided to illustrate our results.

A Novel networked Predictive Control Method for Systems with Random Communication Constraints

In this paper, we investigate the network-dependent hybrid controller design for a class of networked switched linear control systems. Sampling and network-induced delay cause the asynchronous motions between switched subsystems and the candidate controllers in both the state measurement and the switching signal. We rewrite the original networked switched linear systems by sampled asynchronous switched linear systems with time-varying delay. Using the asynchronous system method, we give network-dependent conditions to guarantee the system is exponentially stable, and the hybrid controller design method is also proposed.

This paper presents a novel observer-based predictive control method for networked systems where random network-induced delays,packet disorders and packet dropouts in both feedback and forward channels are *** proposed method has three significant features:i)A concept of destination-based lumped(DBL)delay is introduced to represent the combined effects of random communication constraints in each channel;ii)in view of different natures of the random DBL delays in the feedback and forward channels,different compensation schemes are designed;and iii)it is actual control inputs rather than predicted ones that are employed to generate future control signals based on the latest system state estimate available in the *** the resulting closed-loop system,a necessary and sufficient stability condition is derived,which is less conservative and also independent of random communication constraints in both *** results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

The stabilization problem for a class of nonlinear networked control systems (NCSs) is investigated in this paper. A Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model is employed to represent the nonlinear controlled plant in the NCSs. Based on parallel distributed compensation (PDC) technique, a novel model of the nonlinear NCSs is established firstly in consideration of both network-induced delay and packet losses in transmission. Then a stability condition of the nonlinear NCSs is presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) by using the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method and the delay input approach. Furthermore, the control design of the nonlinear NCSs is developed by means of LMIs. Finally, a numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

network-induced delay and jitter are key factors causing performance degradation and instability of NCSs (networked control systems). The relationships between the sampling periods of the control loops, network-induced delay and jitter were studied aimed at token-type networks. A jitter-dependent optimal bandwidth scheduling algorithm for NCSs is proposed, which tries to achieve a tradeoff between bandwidth occupancy and system performance. Simulation tests proved the effectiveness of this optimal scheduling algorithm.

In this paper, we study the problems related to parameter estimation of a single-input and single-output networked control system, which contains possible network-induced delays and packet dropout in both of sensor-to-controller path and controller-to-actuator path. A weighted least squares(WLS) method is designed to estimate the parameters of plant, which could overcome the data uncertainty problem caused by delays and dropout. This WLS method is proved to be consistent and has a good asymptotic property. Simulation examples are given to validate the results.
