In this paper, I suggest that, even more than the state, capitalist enterprise is the most influential institution of neoliberalism, both for the effect it conveys in terms of management in public institutions （New Public Management） and its influence on the subjectivity of neoliberal individuals. However, one could stress, from the perspective of economic theory of the firm, the neoliberal transformations of the capitalist enterprises itself. Two transformations that are taking place from the 1980s seem particularly important. The first is the firm＇s transformation in a ＂nexus of contracts＂ as claimed by the agency theory of Jensen and Meckling that describe and enable the current financialization of the economy. The second is the trans- formation of organisations in a ＂nexus of skills＂ as claimed by the cognitive paradigm of the firm that apply to the company economic reasoning in terms of ＂human capital＂. I then examine the effects on neoliberal subjectivation of these two major changes, from the labour point of view. First, the neoliberal subject imagines, describes and manages itself as the subject of investment in ＂human capital＂. Second, the disappearance of traditional employment contract corresponds to the emergence and intensification of another form of contract, the ＂psychological contract＂, which tends to become a major form of relationship-employed but also a model for relationships between individuals. Finally, lifelong learning is becoming the major form of empowerment of employees, but also a ＂lifestyle＂ based on the apprecia6on of one＇s own human capital and the infinite task of perfecting oneself to match up our ＂skills portfolio＂ with the labour market. These transformations of neoliberal subjectivity have costs that can be summarised by the widespread phe- nomena of burn out, but also the birth of a new form of racism, based on ＂quality＂ of human capital （skills, abilities, capabilities）.

With the further deepening of China's reform and opening up, the influence of neoliberalism in China has gradually increased. In recent years, it has become the top three of the ten most influential ideological trends in China. Although some theories it requires that we should give full play to the role of the market is reasonable somehow, but the harm it contains is beyond its rational part enormously ,which has caused the severe challenge to China^s ideology. Thus, We should always be vigilant and clear to ensure the ideology safety of our country and the right direction of reform.

This paper acknowledges the contemporary neoliberal mode of operation of Smart *** pitfalls of Smart Cities concerning its propensity towards techno-centric and efficiency-focused governance are identified,with diminutive emphasis on social equity and human-centric urban ***,the paper elaborates upon an alternative mode of person-environment-interaction based approach towards placemaking:Empathic *** approach implies embracing a shift from efficiency to sufficiency and wellbeing embedded regenerative perspective for conceiving the built ***,the variable dimensions of urban growth and governance,which gave rise to the smart city,are *** embedded neoliberal operational agenda of smart cities are *** this basis,the underpinnings of an empathic city are established by acknowledging the shift from technocentric to human-centric and from product-based to context-based smart city and wellbeing *** toward urban development are proposed,such as embracing a regenerative perspective wherein the city and its constituents need to be understood as interdependent systemic elements while embracing a human-centric and ethical ***,a transition from efficiency to sufficiency-oriented practices and a shift towards inclusive modes of participatory governance are proposed as fundamental principles for an empathic future of the built environment.

Having established itself as a heritage discourse,planetary gentrification is being studied in terms of how it operates in the Global *** study focuses on the case of Abdali Amman,a significant mixed-use neighbourhood in Jordan that has experienced numerous mega-gentrification *** to Bourdieu’s theories of the state and dispositional practices,this study critically evaluates urban gentrification *** terms of gentrification governance,which takes place in two adjacent‘state’and‘civic’zones inside the Abdali district,this study analyses the interactions between transnational and state actors and the intragovernmental(state-municipality)governance *** in Amman is connected to the revitalisation of historic sites,is a matter of urban governance,and operates from the transnational sphere along national and local ***,gentrification is caught in a desire/resistance paradox with calls for legitimacy and *** a country in the Global South,Jordan has welcomed capitalist *** is articulated within a flux between deterritorialisation/reterritorialisation,producing a form of‘heritage gentrification’in which history and national heritage are sacrificed through a process of satellite gentrification that is rooted in generative cultural transformation and governed by decentralised power *** a Western blueprint of planetary gentrification through narrow gates into non-Western environments is a prevailing challenge.

Background:Violence is a critical public health problem associated with compromised health and social suffering that are *** Centre for Global Health and Health Equity organized a forum in 2014 to identify:(1)priority issues related to violence affecting different population groups in Canada,and(2)strategies to take action on priority issues to reduce violence-related health inequities in *** this paper,we present findings from the roundtable discussions held at the Forum,offer insights on the socio-political implications of these findings,and provide recommendations for action to reduce violence through research,policy and ***:Over 60 academic researchers,health and social service agency staff,community advocates and graduate students attended the daylong Forum,which included presentations on structural violence,community violence,gender-based violence,and violence against marginalized *** notes taken at the roundtables were analyzed by the first author using a thematic analysis ***:The thematic analysis identified four thematic areas:1)structural violence perpetuates interpersonal violence-the historical,social,political and economic marginalization that contributes to personal and community violence.2)social norms of gender-based violence—the role of dominant social norms in perpetuating the practice of violence,especially towards women,children and older adults;3)violence prevention and mitigation programs—the need for policy and programming to address violence at the individual/interpersonal,community,and societal levels;and 4)research gaps—the need for comprehensive research evidence made up of systematic reviews,communitybased intervention and evaluation of implementation research to identify effective programming to address ***:The proceedings from the Global Health and Health Equity Forum underscored the importance of recognizing violence as a public health issue that requires immedi

The following paper seeks to understand Donald Trump as a“dialectical image”for the contradictions of neoliberal ***’s management style,as described in his Art o f the Deal,combines a fetishizing of entrepreneurial risk as a“lifestyle”with the insistence that it is not the entrepreneur but his targets who are ultimately exposed to *** suggests that we might understand the elevation of“deal-making”to a lifestyle as a characteristic of modernity that,with neoliberalism,is increasingly coming to the *** a critique of modernity,I further argue,is anticipated by Fichte's Closed Commercial State with its intriguing dialectic of risk.I conclude by arguing that Trump's politics marks the rise of a new,specifically American style of Fascism--one that demands identification not with the state as supra-individual collective,but with an impersonal system governing over individual lives and rendering them precarious.

Liberalism is in trouble as a normative basis of world order,partly for its failure to deliver adequate democracy to contemporary *** article explores how new ideas and practices of democracy might underpin a future post-liberal world *** discussion especially addresses methodological issues,on the premise that the way that global democracy is studied deeply affects the ways that it can be understood and *** open space for more innovative thinking about people's power in a global world,the article develops an approach which—in contrast to established liberal theorising-mphasises principles of diversity,reflexivity,and *** on experiences of implementing these principles in a six-year'Building Global Democracy' programme,the article argues that such a method-ology can generate different,imaginative and transformative *** particular,post-liberal reinventions of democracy could redefine the demos,incorporate non-modern institutions,deepen justice,and confront structural power *** be sure,as the final section reflects,the formulation and implementation of post-liberal constructions of global democracy face considerable ***,with no less than the future of a good society at stake,it is vital further to pursue such experiments in globality beyond liberalism.
