Structures and characteristics of naturally coloured cottons grown in China were analyzed. Breaking strength of yarns made of pure coloured cotton and coloured cotton fibres blended with other fibres were investigated. Colour fastness of the coloured cotton goods was tested. Suggestions for using the coloured cotton practically and effectively were also included.

Iron(Fe)and phosphate(Pi)are two essential nutrients for plant growth.Both impact plant development differently and their respective deficiency leads to multiple physiological disorders,resulting in severe reduction of crop production.The chemistry of these two elements is deeply inter-connected,as in the soil phosphate naturally associates to ferric oxides(resulting from aerobic conditions observed in most cultivated soils)to create insoluble complexes that can no longer be taken up by the plants'import systems.

Undoubtedly, plenty of hydrocarbon sources are located in carbonate rocks, particularly those which are naturally fractured that is still needed to study their characterization, because of their complex and unconventional behavior. Therefore, applying any processes that cause Enhancing Oil Recovery (EOR) from naturally Fractured Reservoirs (NFR) seems necessary and useful. However, selecting the best developed scenario is always challenging. Screening criteria would determine the possibility of implementing an EOR process. While, utilizing trade marketing simulators can solve this problem. Moreover, simulation can evaluate other parameters such as water cut and gas-oil ratio. In this research, an aquifer-supported Iranian NFR with two parts that are separated to each other with a shale layer is considered in order to select the best EOR scenario. The fluid model is created using PVTi software. Various production scenarios included natural depletion, water flooding, miscible carbon dioxide injection, water-alternating-gas (WAG) injection, simultaneous water- alternating-gas (SWAG) injection, hybrid injection, and gas recycling are simulated in ECLIPSE Compositional (E300) and their recovery factor recorded as the target parameter. The developed scenarios are designed in a way that gives the optimized results, i.e. higher recovery factor, less water cut as well as the less gas-oil ratio. As a result, SWAG shows better conditions and is recommended for the further studies of the reservoir management plan in the future. Also, the role of the aquifer in the SWAG scenario is positive by creating a natural WAG in addition to the SWAG. Additionally, the average reservoir pressure through fractures reduces less in the SWAG than the other Scenarios, the oil and gas production rate reduce less in the SWAG and SWAG/ miscible gas respectively than the other scenarios. Inorganic phosphate(Pi) is an essential nutrient to living organisms. It is required as a component of the energy metabolism,kinase/phosphatase signaling and in the formation and function of lipids,carbohydrates and nucleic acids and,at systemic level,it plays a key role for normal skeletal and dentin mineralization. Pi represents an abundant dietary element and its intestinal absorption is efficient,minimally regulated and typically extends to approximately 70%. Maintenance of proper Pi homeostasis is a critical event and serum Pi level is maintained within a narrow range through an elaborate network of humoral interactions and feedback loops involving intestine,kidney,parathyroid gland and bone,and depends on the activity of a number of hormones,including parathyroid hormone,1,25-dihydroxy vitamin D,and fibroblast growth factor 23 as major regulators of Pi homeostasis. Notably,Pi intake seemingly continues to increase as a consequence of chronic high-phosphorus(P) diets deriving from the growing consumption of highly processed foods,especially restaurant meals,fast foods,and convenience foods. Several recent reports have generated significant associations between high-P intake or high-serum Pi concentration and morbidity and mortality. Many chronic diseases,including cardiovascular diseases,obesity and even cancer have been proposed to be associated with high-P intakes and high-serum Pi concentrations. On the other hand,there is also evidence that Pi can have antiproliferative effects on some cancer cell types,depending on cell status and genetic background and achieve additive cytotoxic effects when combined with doxorubicin,illustrating its potential for clinical applications and suggesting that up-regulating Pi levels at local sites for brief times,might contribute to the development of novel and cheap modalities for therapeutic intervention in some tumours. Overall,the influence of Pi on cell function and the possible relationship to cancer have to be fully understood and investigated further.

Under the constraint determined by a relation(a,b)~T={f(Φ)}betweenthe reflectionless potentials and the eigenfunctions of the general discrete Schr(?)dinger eigenvalueproblem,the Lax pair of the Toda lattice is nonlinearized to be a finite-dimensional differencesystem and a nonlinear evolution equation,while the solution variety(?)of the former is aninvariant set of S-flows determined by the latter,and the constants of the motion for the algebraicsystem are presented,f maps the solution of the algebraic system into the solution of a certainstationary Todd equation.Similar results concerning the Langmuir lattice are given,and arelation between the two difference systems,which are the spatial parts of the nonlinearized Laxpairs of the Toda lattice and Langmuir lattice,is discussed.

Porphyra haitanensis and P.yezoensis are two main Porphyra species cultured in China. Their life histories are slightly different. So far we have not observed that P. haitanensis naturally produces monospores developing into thalli. P.yezoensis produces monospores which directly germinate into young thalli used in cultivation (Zeng,et al., 1985). Some somatic cells in P. yezoensis develop in vitro into monospore-like cells which later grow into young thalli (Lu, 1983). Studies on whether or not somatic cells in P.haitanensis can produce in vitro monospore-like cells that later grow into young thalli is important for understanding its life history and for culturing new varieties.

Sarcocystis has an obligatory two-host life cycle. An intennediate host acquires infection by ingesting sporocysts or oocysts from the faeces of an infected definitive host. A definitive host becomes infected with Sarcocystis by eating the sarcocyst-infected flesh of the intermediate host. For Sarcocystis suihominis, humans, chimpanzees (Pan troglodytes), rhesus monkeys (Macaca mulatta) and cynomolgus monkeys (Macaca irus) are definitive hosts and the pig is its intermediate host. The infection situation of humans in other regions of the world is unknown. Zuo et al. (1983) first reported two cases with natural S. suihominis infection in Yunnan Province, China1.
