Dissolution Properties of 2-(Dinitromethylene)-5-methyl-1,3-diazacyclopentane in Dimethyl Sulfoxide and n-methyl pyrrolidone

The molar enthalpies of dissolution for 2-（dinitromethylene）-5-methyl-1,3-diazacyclopentane（DnMDZ） in dimethyl sulfoxide（DMSO） and n-methyl pyrrolidone（nMP） were measured using an RD496-2000 Calvet microcalorimeter at 298.15 K under atmospheric pressure.Empirical formulae for the calculation of the molar enthalpies of dissolution（Δ diss H） were obtained from the experimental data of the dissolution processes of DnMDZ in DMSO or nMP.The relationships between the rate constant（k） and the molality（b） and between the reaction order（n） and the molality（b） were determined.The corresponding kinetic equations describing the two dissolution processes were dα/dt=10^-2.16（1-α） ^1.01 for the dissolution of DnMDZ in DMSO,and dα/dt=10^-2.02（1-α）^ 0.85 for the dissolution of DnMDZ in nMP,respectively.

Ethyl acetate and tetrahydrofuran are widely used in chemical,pharmaceutical and other industries.The ternary mixture（ethyl acetate/tetrahydrofuran/water） contains two binary azeotropes of ethyl acetate/water and tetrahydrofuran/water,so conventional distillation processes cannot achieve efficient separation.Extractive distillation is proposed for the separation of ethyl acetate/tetrahydrofuran/water.n-methyl pyrrolidone was selected as extractive agents based on excellent extraction characteristic.Due to the lack of the isobaric vapor-liquid equilibrium data of ethyl acetate/n-methyl pyrrolidone and tetrahydrofuran/n-methyl pyrrolidone,the isobaric vapor-liquid equilibrium experiments of the systems（ethyl acetate/n-methyl pyrrolidone） and（tetrahydrofuran/n-methyl pyrrolidone） were determined in this paper.Isobaric vapor-liquid equilibrium（VLE） data were measured at 101.3 kPa for two binary systems（ethyl acetate/n-methyl pyrrolidone） and（tetrahydrofuran/n-methyl pyrrolidone） by using a modified Rose vapor recirculating type equilibrium still.The two binary systems experimental data were checked by Herington method and Van ness test,respectively.Meanwhile,the measured VLE data were correlated by three activity coefficient models of Wilson,nonrandom two-liquid（nRTL）,and universal quasichemical（UnIQUAC）,for which all of the calculated results showed good consistency.Also,the binary interaction parameters of the models were regressed.

Solid polymer electrolytes(SPEs)are one of the most promising alternatives to flammable liquid electrolytes for building safe Li metal batteries.nevertheless,the poor ionic conductivity at room temperature(RT)and low resistance to Li dendrites seriously hinder the commercialization of SPEs.Herein,we design a bifunctional flame retardant SPE by combining hydroxyapatite(HAP)nanomaterials with nmethyl pyrrolidone(nMP)in the PVDF-HFP matrix.The addition of HAP generates a hydrogen bond network with the PVDF-HFP matrix and cooperates with nMP to facilitate the dissociation of Li TFSI in the PVDF-HFP matrix.Consequently,the prepared SPE demonstrates superior ionic conductivity at RT,excellent fireproof properties,and strong resistance to Li dendrites.The assembled Li symmetric cell with prepared SPE exhibits a stable cycling performance of over 1200 h at 0.2 m A cm^(-2),and the solid-state LiFePO_4||Li cell shows excellent capacity retention of 85.3%over 600 cycles at 0.5 C.

Imidazolium dipicrylamine is a new nitroaromatic compound. The solubility of imidazolium dipicrylamine is 0.027 g. The oxygen balance of imidazolium dipicrylamine is-71.0%, which has better oxygen balance than 2,4,6-trinitroluene（-74.0%）. The density of imidazolium dipicrylamine is 1.72 g·cm-3, which is much higher than the density of 2,4,6- trinitroluene（1.65 g·cm-3）. The dissolution behaviors of imidazolium dipicrylamine in n-methl pyrrolidone（nMP） were studied by a RD496-2000 Calvet microcalorimeter at different temperatures. The values of heat effect at different temperatures and the relationships between the heat effect and the amount of substance were determined. The measured molar enthalpies（ΔdissH） for imidazolium dipicrylamine in nMP are-27.14 k J·mol-1,-22.31 k J·mol-1,-20.59 k J·mol-1, and-20.38 k J·mol-1, and the differential enthalpies（ΔdifH） are-27.86 k J·mol-1,-23.25 k J·mol-1,-21.31 k J·mol-1, and-21.16 k J·mol-1 at 298.15 K, 303.15 K, 308.15 K and 313.15 K, respectively. The kinetic equations of dissolution processes of imidazolium dipicrylamine in nMP at different temperatures are dα/dt =10-2.64（1-α）0.79（T=298.15K）, dα/dt =10-2.43（1-α）0.82（T=303.15K）, dα/dt =10-2.40（1-α）1.00（T=308.15K）, dα/dt =10-2.37（1-α）0.78（T=313.15K）, respectively. The values of activation energy E and pre-exponential factor A are obtained as 10.24 k J·mol-1 and 10-0.68 s-1.
