The most crucial variable contributes to the structure of the community is a central issue that ecologists have devoted *** two most significant ones,environmental factors and dispersal limitation have been debated intensely to figure out the most important *** this study,surface coastal waters were sampled along a transect of nitrogen(n)and phosphorous(p)co-pollution gradient in Xiangshan Bay,East China Sea.16S rRnA gene amplicon pyrosequencing was applied to investigate the variation of bacterioplankton community to n-p co-pollution on the spatial ***,bacterial community composition(BCC)was dominanted by Gammaproteobacteria,Alphaproteobacteria,Actinobacteria,Bacteroidetes and Betaproteobacteria..The bacterial community did not vary continuously along the pollution gradient,but showed significant distinction between nearshore sites(A,B,and C)and offshore sites(D and E),with higher alpha-diversity of bacterial community in the nearshore sites *** bacterioplankton community was structured by the environmental variables(nH,n/p,Chl a)and Trend variables,18.3%and 14.1%respectively,and shared 10.9%in *** addition,a series of potential indicator taxa were identified,which could reflect the n-p co-pollution *** study demonstrated that bacterioplankton community shifted from nearshore to offshore with the increase in n-p level and environmental factors contributed more to community variation than spatial variables did.
