Application research on three-dimensional virtual mine in the framework of internet of things

Based on the information system characteristics of mine, proposed network architecture design of the mine property. And in this framework based on the design of three-dimensional virtual mine described the application of intelligent management platform. Three-dimensional virtual underground mine that shows the situation, the core application is through remote monitoring system of information exchange between devices （material object communication）. Internet of things in the framework of mining three-dimensional virtual reconstruction of mine. On coal mine safety in the production process of human, machine and environment, control elements and their harmony and unity. 3D virtual mine management platform integrates personnel positioning, dust control, gas monitoring, roof pressure monitoring, fan-line monitoring and other subsystems. Platform through the underground mine sensing equipment to conduct various types of monitoring data integration, through the transport layer device to transmit the information to the application layer intelligence processing software platform, the system automatically handles the operational status of each subsystem and the need for safe production under the proper introduction of human factors deal with special event. 3D virtual mine management platform to mining, excavation, transport, ventilation and other safety information quickly and accurately transmitted to the ground operation control center. Underground for the first time on the linkage between systems in case of emergencies, to provide safety for management decision support.

Design and Analysis of PV Hybrid system for Isolated Household Electrification

This paper describes a design method and construction of a PV hybrid system for household electrification in remote area which has typical important electrical loads for daily life such as television, refrigerator, electric fan, coffee maker, and radio. The paper presents the design method which is a short and correct method for the PV Hybrid system design. The result of the proposed design method is finally simulated by Homer software to optimize and prove the result. From the simulation, the output shows that the proposed method is proper for using to design the sizing of PV hybrid system. After the design, a PV hybrid system is constructed accordingly to the system design. A PV hybrid prototype is constructed as a small house which is specially constructed for demonstration of the proposed system. The PV hybrid system therefore has the size of PV 1.8 kWp, battery 20 kWh, and diesel generator 3 kW. After a long implementation of the system, the results of monitored data show that the designed PV hybrid system can deliver the power to the house continually 24 hours as it is originally designed. This can ensure that the proposed method of PV hybrid system design is correct and can be used for design the PV hybrid system for electrical utility in the remote area where has no an electric grid.

Damages of power transformers are caused partly by construction setting but also by operation （i. e., due to operational and degradation parameters）. A long-term operation and exceeding of the limit values of transformer abbreviate the lifetime of this device very dramatically. A condition of insulating system oilpaper is principal diagnostic indicator that has its essential influence to failure-free operation of power transformers. The paper deals with a description of the experience with developed monitoring system, which is focused mainly on a control of oil filling of experimental transformer. Relative humidity, amount of dissolved gases and increased temperature are observed, as they have decisive influence on insulating system of transformer. monitoring of these characteristics is completed with analysis of oil samples by infrared spectroscopy in mode of Attenuated Total Reflection technique.

One of the most indispensable needs of life is food and its worldwide availability endorsement has made agriculture an essential sector in recent years. As the technology evolved, the need to maintain a good and suitable climate in the greenhouse became imperative to ensure that the indoor plants are more productive hence the agriculture sector was not left behind. That notwithstanding, the introduction and deployment of IoT technology in agriculture solves many problems and increases crop production. This paper focuses mainly on the deployment of the Internet of Things (IoT) in acquiring real- time data of environmental parameters in the greenhouse. Various IoT technologies that can be applicable in greenhouse monitoring system was presented and in the proposed model, a method is developed to send the air temperature and humidity data obtained by the DHT11 sensor to the cloud using an ESP8266-based NodeMCU and firstly to the cloud platform Thing- Speak, and then to *** in which MQTT protocol was used for the reception of sensor data to the application layer referred as Human-Machine Interface. The system has been completely implemented in an actual prototype, allowing the acquiring of data and the publisher/subscriber concept used for communication. The data is published with a broker’s aid, which is responsible for transferring messages to the intended clients based on topic choice. Lastly, the functionality testing of MQTT was carried out and the results showed that the messages are successfully published.

Design of ZigBee-WiFi Gateway for Vacuum Oven

In the process of power battery production, it is necessary to put battery into vacuum oven for drying, the temperature, the vacuum degree and other factors directly influence the quality of the power battery. In order to remotely control the temperature and vacuum degree of vacuum oven in the process of power battery manufacturing, the wireless communication system based on the ZigBee-WiFi gateway for the power battery production is presented. The system uses wireless module CC2530 as the core chip, to complete the machine networking in workshop, and use of WiFi wireless module ESP8266 to complete data interconnection ZigBee and WiFi network, implement the data information exchange and sharing between the vacuum oven and the Internet. This wireless communication system has the characteristics with easy networking, low power consumption and low cost. So, this communication system can meet the requirement of data transmission and sharing in power battery manufacturing and other production activities.

Activation of Landslides in the South of Ukraine under the Action of Natural Seismic Impacts （Experimental and Analytical Studies）

Activation of seismic activity in the Vrancha area, in the Black Sea region resulted in considerable activation of landslides and in increasing of landslide hazard in earthquake-prone areas of Ukraine. Totally about 23,000 landslides were identified in the territory of Ukraine. Experimental and analytical studies of slumps in the Central Livadia landslide system were carried out with the aid of the ZSUV monitoring system. Experimental data were obtained concerning impact of natural seismic factors on the Central Livadia landslide system and on the Palace itself. The South-East wing of the Livadia Palace continuously vibrates relative to a certain midposition. The increase of the amplitude of the faqade deviation from the midposition may be caused by activation of slopes as a result of additional subsidence and ground water rise due to local earthquakes in the Black Sea and because of some other factors.

e-Automation,an Architecture for Distributed Industrial Automation systems

Due to the complexity of modern industrial systems, a conventional automation system is not capable of providing sufficient information management and high-level intelligent approaches, as achieving these functionalities requires the support of comprehensive data management and coordination between system devices and heterogenous information. This paper proposes the concept of e-Automation, in which computer networking and distributed intelligence agent technologies are applied to industrial automation systems, and presents a hardware and software architecture that implements this concept. An open infrastructure based on multi-agent systems is employed in the proposed architecture of e-Automation, which aims to allow the implementation of diverse tasks and to permit greater configurability than can be obtained from a traditional system. To evaluate our proposed e-Automation concept, this paper presents a case study of substation information management which adopts the proposed e-Automation architecture in power system domain.

Rainwater harvesting(RWH)systems have been the source of domestic water for many years and still becoming essential in many communities of developing ***,due to various reasons,there are several sources of contamination in the rainwater cistern *** chemicals from the roofing,storage,and conveyance materials,together with the suspended particulate matter from the airborne,are examples of water *** this work,the water quality monitoring system has been designed and *** and physical parameters of water samples were collected from three locations using a data acquisition(DAQ)system and rainwater quality was analyzed using Water Pollution Index(WPI).Results obtained from three locations have been presented.

Python Software Integrates with Microcontrollers and Electronic Hardware to Ease Development for Open-Source Research and Scientific Applications

Many options exist for developing and implementing monitoring systems for research and scientific applications. Commercially, available systems and devices, however, are usually built using proprietary tools and programming instructions, and often offer limited flexibility for end users. The use of open-source hardware and software has been embraced by the research and scientific communities and can be used to target unique data and information requirements. Development based on the Arduino microcontroller project has resulted in many successful applications, and the Arduino hardware and software environment continues to expand and become more powerful but can be intimidating for users with limited electronics or programming experience. The open-source Python language has gained in popularity and is being taught in schools and universities as an introduction to computer programming and software development due to its simple structure, ease of use, and large standard library of functions. A project called CircuitPython was developed to extend the use of Python to programming hardware devices such as programmable microcontrollers and maintains much of the original Python language and features, with additional support for accessing and controlling microcontroller hardware. The objective of the work reported here is to discuss the CircuitPython programming language and demonstrate its use in the development of research and scientific applications. Several open-source sensing and monitoring systems developed using open-source hardware and the open-source CircuitPython programming language are presented and described.
