This paper describes a novel dual-feed circularly polarized antenna,and the dual feeding mode is realized by grooving on the antenna *** antenna utilizes air dielectric material to meet the requirements of low weight and *** results demonstrate that the antenna exhibits capacitive loading between the metal antenna patch and the ground floor,allowing for adjustment of the working frequency of the dual-feed circularly polarized microstrip ***,the original center frequency of 2.264 GHz was reduced to 1.582 GHz,facilitating antenna miniaturization and broad *** a return loss(S11)below-10 dB,a bandwidth of 72 MHz(1.552-1.624 GHz)was ***,the dual-feed microstrip antenna incorporates a 90°bridge,resulting in circular polarization gains of 2.26 dBi at 1.561 GHz and 2.45 dBi at 1.575 ***,the antenna design offers a large working bandwidth and excellent circular polarization characteristics,making it suitable for a wide range of applications in satellite navigation and positioning terminals.

A simple theory is developed for the analysis of isolation of dual-polarization multiplex microstrip antennas. The analysis is based on the 'cavity model' and the 'reaction principle'. The shape of the field distribution between the patch and ground plane is assumed to be well approximated by that of the resonant modes of a corresponding magnetic and electric walled cavity. Two element microstrip antennas of various geometries for either transmitting or receiving linearly and circularly polarized waves are studied. Some methods are found to reduce their physical dimensions and to evaluate the isolation between the elements for various configurations.

Vortex electromagnetic waves can carry orbital angular momentum(OAM) modes of different order number, which are mutually orthogonal. Communication technologies multiplexing different OAM topological charges have attracted extensive attention in improving spectrum utilization. In this regard, the efficient generation of OAM modes becomes a key issue. However, it is difficult to generate high-order OAM modes by using a microstrip antenna with a simple structure, and the mode purity is usually not high. Methodologically, the OAM wave of a microstrip antenna is mostly achieved by synthesizing degenerate eigenmodes. In this paper, combined with eigenmode analysis, the construction of high-order and high-purity OAM mode microstrip antennas is carried out from the perspectives of radiating element,ground plane, and structural symmetry. For a regular hexagonal patch antenna of the 4th-order OAM mode,the mode purity is improved from about 40% to over 80%by removing the inner conductor of the patch layer, using a circular ground plane, and adding lug patches on the outside. This method of improving mode purity through the analysis of mode significance and characteristic current distribution also has guiding significance for the design of other high-order OAM mode patch antennas.

A novel ultra-wideband(UWB)-based microstrip antenna is presented in this work by using a slotted patch resonator,a tri-sectional stepped impedance resonator(SIR)feeder,as well as a reduced ground *** whole structure was realized on an FR4 *** impact of incorporating several cases of ground planes on the input reflection has been thoroughly investigated under the same tri-sectional SIR feeder and by employing a slotted patch *** the complete ground plane presents an inadequate frequency response,by reducing the ground plane,the induced UWB responses are apparent while the antenna exhibits higher impedance *** impact of both the uniform impedance resonator(UIR)as well as the SIR feeder on the input reflection has also been examined by following the same adopted reduced ground technique and using a slotted patch *** a result,the UIR feeder exhibits a dual-band frequency response,when a wide notched band is incorporated in the range from 4.5–6.5 *** dual-band response of the bi-sectional SIR feeder is still apparent with a narrower notched band in the frequency range from 4–5 *** far as the tri-sectional SIR feeder is concerned,the UWB response is discernible without recording the existence of a notched ***,the antenna displays a higher impedance bandwidth compared with the previously reported *** proposed antenna configuration is designed with highly compact dimensions and an overall size of 14×27.2 ***,it operates under the impedance bandwidth of 2.86–10.31 GHz that can be leveraged for numerous applications where wireless systems are *** approach presents several advantages compared with the other reported UWB-based antennas in the literature,whereas the measured S11 pattern is in good agreement with the simulated one.

A Directional Differential-Fed UWB antenna with Stable Radiation Pattern

In this paper,a novel design of a compact UHF（ultra-high-frequency） RFID tag antenna which can be mounted on metallic objects is *** proposed tag antenna is based on microstrip patch structure,and is composed of a radiating patch,a shorting stub line,a coupled patch and a metal ground *** proposed antenna has a compact structure with the overall dimension of 80 40 3 *** antenna is designed to operate at a central frequency of 915 MHz in North *** the different types of tag chips existing on the market,the design parameters of the proposed antenna can be adjusted to achieve conjugate matching between the antenna and these *** performance of the proposed tag antenna is analyzed through Ansoft HFSS simulation *** with the simulation results,the measured results show that the antenna maintains a relatively good consistency on the simulated performance and the practical performance.

A directional ultra-wideband(UWB)antenna with improved radiation patterns is *** proposed sheme comprises a differential-fed microstrip antenna and a rectangular *** hexagon-shaped slot and four triangle-cut corners on the ground plane of the planar antenna are used to improve the impedance matching within the UWB frequency range.A rectangular cavity is used as the reflector for the planar microstrip antenna,so as to achieve directed *** measured results indicate that the designed antenna exhibits a stable broadside directional radiation patterns within the entire operating frequency ***,thanks to the differentially driven technique,the cross-polarization is greatly decreased and the polarization purity is maintained in a high level.

The present work proposed a simple model for breast cancer hyperthermia treatment at 2.45 GHz. The proposed model involves nine-element antennas alongside a numerical breast comprising multiple tumors. Using a coupled EM-Thermal simulation in the CST suite, the simulated results for a single antenna showed a reflection coefficient (S11) better than -47 dB and demonstrated a bandwidth of 78 MHz. The specific absorption rate (SAR) as a function of input powers was examined inside the breast tissues, where it exhibited a promising performance higher than 3 W/kg at the tumor volume when the applied power was at a reasonable level of 1.5 W whereas it was well attained under the recommend IEEE level of 1.6 W/kg through the surrounded health tissues. Taking into consideration nine-element antennas covering the breast containing two different located tumors, the maximum temperature as a function of treatment time was presented at which a resulting temperature of 43°C was obtainable within 10 minutes, favored for hyperthermia purposes. Considering the maximum power level of 1.5 W, the potential use of applying three-element antennas, simultaneously with 0.5 W, could be achieved.
