As a broad-spectrum entomogenous fungus,metarhizium *** widely used to control the underground crop *** there are few studies on its control of soil-borne *** entomogenous fungi can prevent plant diseases has become one of the hotspots in the field of biological *** is one of the three major food crops in my *** verticillium is the main pathogen of root rot,stem rot and ear rot of *** this paper,eight biocontrol strains of metarhizium spp.M1-M8 and Fusarium verticillium were selected for plate confrontation *** to the growth characteristics of metarhizium spp.,metarhizium *** first inoculated on the PDA plate for 6 days of culture,then Fusarium verticillium was inoculated to study the inhibitory effect of different species of metarhizium *** Fusarium verticillium in *** test found that all of 8 metarhizium *** could produce antibacterial zones against Fusarium *** which,M3(metarhizium anisopliae) had the highest plate inhibition rate against Fusarium verticillium,reaching 57.2%,followed by the antibacterial rate of M2(metarhizium anisopliae microsporum variant) was 44.44%,and the bacteriostatic rate of M5(metarhizium anisopliae ***) was the lowest,only27.51%.The results show that some species of metarhizium *** effectively inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria of soil-borne diseases,and have the dual effects of controlling underground pests and soil-borne pathogenic bacteria,and have good development and application prospects.

Beauveria bassiana and metarhizium *** entomopathogenic fungi with potential applications beyond insect pest control,including plant disease suppression,plant growth promotion,and rhizosphere *** study investigated the plant growth-promoting characteristics and extracellular enzyme activities of metarhizium *** *** in relation to phytopathogen interactions and plant ***,the efﬁcacy of these fungi in mitigating damping-off and root rot caused by Rhizoctonia solani on cucumber plants was evalu-ated in vitro and in *** indicate that *** and *** produce indole-3-acetic acid,hydro-cyanic acid,and hydrolytic *** treatment with these fungi signiﬁcantly reduced disease severity(3.85%–1.86%,respectively)and enhanced germination parameters[germination percentage(85.33%–86%,respectively),germination index(10.67–12.29,respectively),seedling length vigor index(86.41–109.44,respec-tively),and seedling weight vigor index(30.24–37.57,respectively)]compared to the control *** fungi demonstrated high inhibition rates of *** mycelial growth(93.90%–90.46%,respectively).Greenhouse trials revealed that preventive treatments using *** and *** increased catalase(104.40–105.52 units/mg protein/min,respectively),(4.58–5.77 units/mg protein/min,respectively),superoxide dismutase(40.65–41.74 units/mg protein/min,respectively),and polyphenol oxidase(0.539–0.559 units/mg protein/min,respectively)activities,as well as total phenolic(2.60–2.65 mg/g,respectively)and total sugar content(2.23–2.16 mg/g,respectively)in cucumber ***,disease severity(9.51–6.99%,respectively)was reduced,and plant height(93.76–98.76 cm,respectively)increased compared to the positive ***ﬁnd-ings suggest that *** and *** can enhance plant growth,stimulate plant defense mechanisms,and effectively control damping-off and root rot diseases,making them promising candidates for b
