Although data-independent acquisition (DIA) shows powerful potential in achieving comprehensive peptide information acquisition, the difficulty in determining the precursor m/z and distinguishing fragment ions has posed challenges in DIA data analysis. To address this challenge, a common approach is to recover the correspondence between precursor ions and fragment ions, followed by peptide identification using traditional data-dependent acquisition (DDA) database searching. In this study, we propose a cosine similarity-based deconvolution method that rapidly establishes the correspondence between chromatographic profiles of precursor ions and fragment ions through matrix calculations. Experimental results demonstrate that our method, referred to as CosDIA, yields a peptide identification count close to that of DIA-umpire. However, compared to DIA-umpire, we can establish the correspondence between original MS/MS spectra and pseudo-MS/MS spectra. Furthermore, compared to the CorrDIA method, our approach achieves higher efficiency in terms of time, reducing the time cost of the analysis process. These results highlight the potential advantages of the CosDIA method in DIA data analysis, providing a powerful tool and method for large-scale proteomics research.

High power efficiency and low efficiency roll-off at practical luminance are two requirements for new-generation energy-saving lighting technologies,which are still bottlenecks of thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADF)white organic light-emitting diodes(WOLED),despite the advantages of TADF materials and devices in low cost and high sustainability.Herein,we developed a spiro phosphine oxide host named SSOXSPO,which can form multiple and multidirectional intermolecular hydrogen bonds(IHB).The resulted multilevel IHB network integrates long-range ordered and short-range disordered alignments for suppressing triplet-polaron quenching(TPQ)and triplet-triplet annihilation(TTA).Electronic characteristics of SSOXSPO matrix are further regulated,leading to the optimal exciton allocation through balancing energy and charge transfer.As consequence,using SSOXSPO as host,the single-emissive-layer TADF WOLEDs realized the record performance,including ultralow operation voltage as∼4.0 V,power efficiency beyond fluorescent tube(70.1 lm W−1)and negligible external quantum efficiency roll-off(3%)at 1000 nits for indoor lighting.This work demonstrates that multiple interplays supported by host matrixes in TADF WOLEDs can facilitate the synergistic effects of TADF emitters on 100%exciton utilization.

Due to the high heterogeneity and complexity of water flow movement for multiple karst water-bearing mediums,the evaluation,effective development,and utilization of karst water resources are significantly limited.matrix flow is usually laminar,whereas conduit flow is usually turbulent.The driving mechanisms of water exchange that occur between the karst conduit and its adjacent matrix are not well understood.This paper investigates the hydrodynamic characteristics and the mechanism of flow exchange in dual water-bearing mediums(conduit and matrix)of karst aquifers through laboratory experimentation and numerical simulation.A karst aquifer consisting of a matrix network and a conduit was proposed,and the relationship between the water exchange flux and hydraulic head differences generated from the laboratory experiments was analyzed.Two modes of experimental tests were performed with different fixed water level boundaries in the laboratory karst aquifer.The results indicate that the water exchange capacity was proportional to the square root of hydraulic head differences.The linear exchange term in the conduit flow process(CFP)source program was modified according to experimental results.The modified CFP and the original CFP model experimental data results were compared,and it was found that the modified CFP model had better fitting effects.These results showed that the water exchange mechanism between conduit and matrix is very important for solid-liquid interface reaction,water resource evaluation,and understanding of karst hydrodynamic behavior.

Deep-tissue optical imaging suffers from the reduction of resolving power due to tissue-induced optical aberrations and multiple scattering noise.Reflection matrix approaches recording the maps of backscattered waves for all the possible orthogonal input channels have provided formidable solutions for removing severe aberrations and recovering the ideal diffraction-limited spatial resolution without relying on fluorescence labeling and guide stars.However,measuring the full input–output response of the tissue specimen is time-consuming,making the real-time image acquisition difficult.Here,we present the use of a time-reversal matrix,instead of the reflection matrix,for fast high-resolution volumetric imaging of a mouse brain.The time-reversal matrix reduces two-way problem to one-way problem,which effectively relieves the requirement for the coverage of input channels.Using a newly developed aberration correction algorithm designed for the time-reversal matrix,we demonstrated the correction of complex aberrations using as small as 2%of the complete basis while maintaining the image reconstruction fidelity comparable to the fully sampled reflection matrix.Due to nearly 100-fold reduction in the matrix recording time,we could achieve real-time aberration-correction imaging for a field of view of 40×40µm^(2)(176×176 pixels)at a frame rate of 80 Hz.Furthermore,we demonstrated high-throughput volumetric adaptive optical imaging of a mouse brain by recording a volume of 128×128×125µm^(3)(568×568×125 voxels)in 3.58 s,correcting tissue aberrations at each and every 1µm depth section,and visualizing myelinated axons with a lateral resolution of 0.45µm and an axial resolution of 2µm.

A prototype of full-color active-matrix micro-light-emitting diode(micro-LED)micro-display with a pixel density of 391 pixel per inch(ppi)using InGaN/AlGaInP heterogeneous integration is demonstrated.InGaN blue/green dual-color micro-LED arrays realized on a single metal organic chemical vapor deposition(MOCVD)-grown GaN-on-Si epiwafer and AlGaInP red micro-LED arrays are both monolithically fabricated,followed by the integration with a common complementary metal oxide semiconductor(CMOS)backplane via flip-chip bonding technology to form a doublelayer thin-film display structure.Full-color images with decent color gamut and brightness are successfully displayed through the fine adjustment of driving current densities of RGB subpixels.This full-color display combines the advantages of high quantum efficiency of InGaN material on blue/green light and AlGaInP material on red light through heterogeneous integration and high pixel density through monolithic fabrication approach,demonstrating the feasibility and prospects of high brightness,good color performance,and high-resolution micro-LED microdisplays in future metaverse applications.

Multi-energy X-ray detection is sought after for a wide range of applications including medical imaging,security checking and industrial flaw inspection.Perovskite X-ray detectors are superior in terms of high sensitivity and low detection limit,which lays a foundation for multi-energy discrimination.However,the extended capability of the perovskite detector for multi-energy X-ray detection is challenging and has never been reported.Herein we report the design of vertical matrix perovskite X-ray detectors for multi-energy detection,based on the attenuation behavior of X-ray within the detector and machine learning algorithm.This platform is independent of the complex X-ray source components that constrain the energy discrimination capability.We show that the incident X-ray spectra could be accurately reconstructed from the conversion matrix and measured photocurrent response.Moreover,the detector could produce a set of images containing the density-graded information under single exposure,and locate the concealed position for all low-,medium-and high-density substances.Our findings suggest a new generation of X-ray detectors with features of multi-energy discrimination,density differentiation,and contrast-enhanced imaging.

To address the problem of energy diffusion in the subspace of coherent sources and the difficulty of estimating the direction of arrival(DOA)with an under-ranked covariance matrix,an estimation method using a higher-order matrix transformation,i.***.the fourth-order cumulant multiple matrix reconstruction(FOC-MMR),is proposed.Firstly,short-time Fourier transform is performed on the array sound pressure data in frames.Then,the singular value decomposition of the fourth-order cumulant-expanded higher-order covariance matrix is computed to obtain the higher-order noise eigenvectors,which is guaranteed to orthogonally match with the expanded high-order array manifold vector.Finally,DOA estimation of the coherent signals is achieved.The simulation results of the coherent single-frequency rectangular pulse signal show that applying the FOC-MMR method to a uniform linear array(ULA,M=4),for coherent signals(θ_(1)=-20°andθ_(2)=20°)with signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)-15 dB,the root mean square error of the estimated DOA is kept within 1.5°.When SNR=10 dB,the azimuthal interval of the two coherent signals can be correctly resolved down to 5°.Furthermore,the FOC-MMR algorithm to a rectangular area array consisting of multiple ULAs and its ability to discriminate adjacent sources and suppress Gaussian noise is verified in the experiment in which coherent pulsed sound sources are mixed with SNR=5 dB Gaussian white noise.The FOC-MMR algorithm not only solves the problem of energy diffusion between noise and signal eigenvectors caused by signal coherence by expanding the sound pressure array data to obtain a full-rank high-order covariance matrix,but also achieves DOA estimation of multiple coherent sound sources incident at wide angles with high directional accuracy and spatial resolution.

The bone extracellular matrix(ECM) contains minerals deposited on highly crosslinked collagen fibrils and hundreds of noncollagenous proteins. Some of these proteins are key to the regulation of bone formation and regeneration via signaling pathways,and play important regulatory and structural roles. However, the complete list of bone extracellular matrix proteins, their roles, and the extent of individual and cross-species variations have not been fully captured in both humans and model organisms. Here, we introduce the most comprehensive resource of bone extracellular matrix(ECM) proteins that can be used in research fields such as bone regeneration, osteoporosis, and mechanobiology. The Phylobone database(available at https://***) includes 255proteins potentially expressed in the bone extracellular matrix(ECM) of humans and 30 species of vertebrates. A bioinformatics pipeline was used to identify the evolutionary relationships of bone ECM proteins. The analysis facilitated the identification of potential model organisms to study the molecular mechanisms of bone regeneration. A network analysis showed high connectivity of bone ECM proteins. A total of 214 functional protein domains were identified, including collagen and the domains involved in bone formation and resorption. Information from public drug repositories was used to identify potential repurposing of existing drugs. The Phylobone database provides a platform to study bone regeneration and osteoporosis in light of(biological) evolution,and will substantially contribute to the identification of molecular mechanisms and drug targets.
