Caregiver load refers to the subjective and objective negative impact of caregivers in the care of patients,and excessive load will have a serious impact on patients and caregivers themselves and can reduce their quality of life.For the main caregivers,it not only needs to care for the patients in life and daily life,but also needs to pay the cost of treatment for the patients,coupled with the need to carry out their own original work,life,etc.excessive life pressure,economic pressure,work pressure,emotional pressure,etc.lead to heavy load of the main caregivers,which can easily cause caregivers to have different degrees of psychological problems,which will cause serious adverse effects on the caregivers themselves and cancer patients,not conducive to the construction of a harmonious family and society.This article analyzes the current situation of primary caregiver burden in patients with gastrointestinal malignant tumors,analyzes its influencing factors,and specifies specific treatment strategies.It is hoped to provide scientific guidance for later related research and application.

malignant tumors are major causes of morbidity and mortality in China.Despite advances in surgical,radiological,chemotherapeutic,molecular targeting,and immunotherapeutic treatments,patients with malignant tumors still have poor prognoses.Low-dose-rate brachytherapy,specifically 125I seed implantation,is beneficial because of its high local delivery dose and minimal damage to surrounding tissues.Consequently,it has gained increasing acceptance as a treatment modality for various malignant tumors.In this study,we explored the fundamental principles,clinical applications,and new technologies associated with 125I radioactive seed implantation.

Antibody‐drug conjugates(ADCs)are targeted biological agents composed of a cytotoxic drug linked to a monoclonal antibody through a linker.The monoclonal antibody targets tumor cells and transports small‐molecule cytotoxic drugs for specific delivery and minimal off‐target side effects.It is necessary for clinicians to understand the molecular characteristics and mechanisms of ADCs.Patients'survival mainly depends on the appropriate dose and course of treatment and also on proper management of adverse reactions.This consensus provides a systematic review of commercially available ADCs and further discusses the clinical application and management of ADCs.

malignant tumors are one of the leading causes of death in the world. Considerable progresses have been made on the treatment of tumors in recent decades, especially in the prevention, early diagnosis and the model changing of therapeutics. But we are still facing tough challenges, including the increasing treatment burden and limited improvement of efficacy. In China, Chinese medicine （CM） provides a powerful arsenal to fight against tumors. CM can be well applied to the onset and progression of tumors in China, bearing the characteristics of multi-target, multi-phase and multi-effect. But there are also many problems demanding urgent attention in the use of CM. Some most debated problems in this field were summarized. We should upgrade our concepts in using CM, find its position scientifically, and establish evidence of its effect by high quality clinical research.

Combating poison with poison is an important method of traditional Chinese medicine to treat malignant tumors.This study reviews the experimental research on anti-tumor effects of toxic traditional Chinese medicines in recent years.It summarizes the action mechanism of toxic traditional Chinese medicines for the treatment of malignant tumors,including:inhibiting tumor cell proliferation and angiogenesis,inducing tumor cell apoptosis and differentiation,reversing tumor cell multidrug resistance(MDR),inhibiting tumor cell invasion and metastasis,and enhancing the body's immune functions.Finally,it discusses the research and development prospects of toxic traditional Chinese medicines as new anti-tumor drugs.

The subjects of this study were to observe the improved short-term effects of anti-tumor purified Chinese medicine injection Ai-Jing for 138 cases with malignant tumors. This was a multi-center clinical study, and a total of 138 patients included 96 males and 42 females, with the age from 60 to 76 years. Ai-Jing has obtained the Chinese invention patent since 2008 (ZL991-03528.3). A novel technique acupoint injection method was adopted. Except for lung cancer, patients with other malignant tumors were injected once every other day, 2 ml each time. A course of treatment needs 6 Ai-Jing injections, lung cancer patients need 10 - 20 Ai-Jing injections. At the same time, patients were treated with traditional medicine decoction. Due to the limited number of cases, cure rate, recovery rate and remission rate were calculated as a whole, respectively 18.12%, 44.20% and 32.15%. All the invalid patients were lung cancer, accounting for 16.67% of the patients treated with lung cancer, and the total treatment inefficiency was 6.52%. Objective: To investigate whether different treatment methods have an impact on the quality of life and life span after fracture of patients with proximal femoral pathological fractures caused by advanced metastasis of highly malignant tumors. Methods: Karnofsky performance status (KPS) and visual analogue score (VAS) were counted at the time of admission and 2 months after the treatments. Survival analysis was implemented to compare the median survival time and 6-month survival rate of the 2 groups. Musculoskeletal score (MSTS) was used to evaluate limb function in the surgical group at 2 months after the treatment. Results: There was no significant difference in KPS score and VAS score between the two groups at the time of admission (p > 0.05). At 2 months after treatment, the KPS score of the surgical group was higher than that of the conservative group (P Conclusion: Surgical intervention can benefit patients with pathological fractures of the proximal femur due to metastasis of highly malignant tumors in terms of quality of life and survival. Local tumor resection and endoparasitic replacement, which can be tolerated by most patients, can effectively reconstruct the limb function of these patients and restore their self-care ability.

Analysis of therapeutic efficacy of Aredia in treating pain caused by advanced malignant metastatic bone tumors

Objective To study therapeutic efficacy of Aredia in treating malignant metastatic bone tumors. Method 60～90 mg Aredia was administrated iv in 31 cases with malignant metastatic tumors,once each week. Results Pain in 12 cases was significantly relieved.14 cases acquired relif.Total effective rate was 83.9%.Activity ability was improved by 80.6%.No apparent toxicological and adverse effects as well as fever and cold symptoms were observed.Conclusion Aredia is a kind of ideal drugs for treatment of pain caused by malignant metastatic bone tumors.It is convenient in use and could be endured by patients.

The frequency of human suffering from cancer is increasing annually across the globe.This has fueled numerous investigations aimed at the prevention and cure of various cancers.Long non-coding RNA(lncRNA)are known to play a crucial role in cancer.For instance,cancer susceptibility candidate 11(CASC11),as one of the long non-coding RNAs,has been reported to be overexpressed in various tumors.This review elucidates the mechanism by which lncRNA CASC11 regulates tumors'biological processes and affirms its value as a therapeutic target for tumors.Through systematic analysis and review of relevant articles in PubMed,we revealed the pathophysiological mechanism of CASC11 on the tumor by regulating the biological processes of tumor such as proliferation,autophagy,apoptosis,thereby promoting tumor metastasis.We also revealed the regulatory pathways of CASC11 in different tumors,for instance by acting on a variety of microRNAs,oncogenic proteins,carcinogens,and transcription factors.Consequently,CASC11 regulates cancer proliferation,apoptosis,and invasion by altering the WNT/β-catenin signaling pathway and epithelial–mesenchymal transition(EMT).Furthermore,CASC11 expression has a high pertinence with clinical prognosis,suggesting that it is a potential marker for malignant tumors or a clinical adjuvant therapy in the future.

Etoposide,a DNA damage-inducing agent,is widely used for malignant tumors.However,insufficient solubility,poor bioavailability and adverse events limited the treatment outcomes and prognosis.To address this,we here developed a novel biosynthetic and unfolded protein nanocarrier to load and deliver Etoposide.Compared with the pristine agent,the loading efficiency of the nanoformulated drug increased four times and the half-life time increased to 17.6 h with controlled release of the Etoposide for 6 days.The half-maximal inhibitory concentration at 48 h was lower than that at 24 h,suggesting a long-acting anti-tumor property.Moreover,the anti-tumor performance in rat models was significantly enhanced by improving solubility and cellular internalization.Additionally,immunogenicity and adverse toxicologic effects such as kidney and liver toxicity were significantly weakened.Therefore,the assembly strategy enables etoposide with higher efficacy,bioavailability,and safety,and has great potential in the comprehensive treatment of malignant tumors.
