A data-driven framework is presented for building magneto-elastic machine-learning interatomic potentials(ML-IAPs)for largescale spin-lattice dynamics *** magneto-elastic ML-IAPs are constructed by coupling a collective atomic spin model with an *** they represent a potential energy surface from which the mechanical forces on the atoms and the precession dynamics of the atomic spins are *** the atomic spin model and the ML-IAP are parametrized on data from first-principles *** demonstrate the efficacy of our data-driven framework across magneto-structural phase transitions by generating a magneto-elastic ML-IAP forα-*** combined potential energy surface yields excellent agreement with firstprinciples magneto-elastic calculations and quantitative predictions of diverse materials properties including bulk modulus,magnetization,and specific heat across the ferromagnetic–paramagnetic phase transition.

magneto-plasmonic sensors based on surface plasmon resonance have been studied considerably in recent years,as they feature high sensitivity and ultrahigh ***,the majority of such investigations focus on prism-based sandwich architectures that not only impede the miniaturization of devices but also have a weak transverse magneto-optical Kerr effect(TMOKE)in ***,we theoretically demonstrate a magneto-plasmonic sensor composed of Au/Co bilayer nanodisk arrays on top of optically thick metallic films,which supports a narrow surface plasmon resonance(SPR)with a bandwidth of 7 nm and allows for refractive index sensitivities as high as 717 nm/*** to the high-quality SPR mode,a Fano-like TMOKE spectrum with a subnanometer bandwidth can be achieved in the proposed structure,thereby giving rise to ultrahigh sensing of merit values as large as 7000 in ***,we demonstrate a large TMOKE magnitude that exceeds *** value is 1 order of magnitude larger than that of magneto-plasmonic sensors *** also demonstrate that the behavior of TMOKE spectra can be controlled by tuning the geometrical parameters of the device including the diameter and thickness of nanodisk *** work provides a promising route for designing magneto-plasmonic sensors based on metasurfaces or metamaterials.

We present a simple, robust, space-adjustable dark magneto-optical trap(MOT) for the efficient production of heteronuclear molecules. Double-mixed beams made up of repumping beams and depumping beams propagate in nearly opposite directions in the dark MOT. This optical arrangement can easily adjust the spatial positions of two clouds by changing the power ratio of the two repumping beams, and ensure a good overlap, which is very necessary for the production of heteronuclear molecules. The imaging of cold atoms by camera and the collisioninduced loss rate obtained by recording the loading curve of the cold atoms show that we obtain a perfect overlap of atom clouds. The number of Rb Cs molecules with the double-mixed beams is improved by 70%, which is higher than the one with the single-mixed beam.

Heavy-metal-oxide (HMO) glasses attract much interest in many applications such as Faraday rotators, current sensors, etc., in the area of magneto-optic effects due to their unique magnetic-optical property, high refractive index and other interesting properties. However, during the melt-quenching process of these glasses, the high corrosive nature of the melt to the crucibles makes the fabrication of HMO glasses complicated and the properties of the obtained glasses show strong dependence on the crucible materials. Literatures reported that the gold and platinum crucibles are not suitable due to their contamination to the melt glasses, ceramic crucible was considered suitable for the melting of HMO glasses. In this work, magnetic-optical glasses within the system of PbO-Bi2O3-B2O3 have been prepared using different kinds of ceramic crucibles for the aim of finding the most suitable crucible for melting HMO glasses. The glass properties in terms of Verdet constant, thermal stability and UV-Vis-IR transmittance in function of different crucibles were studied and reported. It was found that the same batch of glasses prepared under same conditions (melting temperature, melting time and annealing process), but in different ceramic crucibles (coded as C1, C2 and C3) showed significant difference in properties such as glass forming ability, thermal stability, optical absorption in UV-Vis-IR and Verdet constant (0.0812 - 0.1483 min/***). The ceramic crucible made of 25%Al2O3 and 75%SiO2 (C2) was found to be the most suitable for PbO-Bi2O3-B2O3 glass preparation, compared with platinum, gold, C1 and C3. Glasses melted with C2 exhibit good performance in magneto and optical property, as well as good thermal stability.

The Duffing equation describes the oscillations of a damped nonlinear oscillator [1]. Its non-linearity is confined to a one coordinate-dependent cubic term. Its applications describing a mechanical system is limited e.g. oscillations of a theoretical weightless-spring. We propose generalizing the mathematical features of the Duffing equation by including in addition to the cubic term unlimited number of odd powers of coordinate-dependent terms. The proposed generalization describes a true mass-less magneto static-spring capable of performing highly non-linear oscillations. The equation describing the motion is a super non-linear ODE. Utilizing Mathematica [2] we solve the equation numerically displaying its time series. We investigate the impact of the proposed generalization on a handful of kinematic quantities. For a comprehensive understanding utilizing Mathematica animation we bring to life the non-linear oscillations.
