An energy-storage system comprised of lithium-ion battery modules is considered to be a core component of new energy vehicles,as it provides the main power source for the transmission ***,manufacturing defects in battery modules lead to variations in performance among the cells used in series or parallel *** variation results in incomplete charge and discharge of batteries and non-uniform temperature distribution,which further lead to reduction of cycle life and battery capacity over *** solve this problem,this work uses experimental and numerical methods to conduct a comprehensive investigation on the clustering of battery cells with similar performance in order to produce a battery module with improved electrochemical *** were first performed by dismantling battery modules for the measurement of performance *** kmeans clustering and support vector clustering(SVC)algorithms were then employed to produce battery modules composed of 12 cells *** verification of the results obtained from the clustering analysis was performed by measuring the temperature rise in the cells over a certain period,while air cooling was *** was found that the SVC-clustered battery module in Category 3 exhibited the best performance,with a maximum observed temperature of 32℃.By contrast,the maximum observed temperatures of the other battery modules were higher,at 40℃for Category 1(manufacturer),36℃for Category 2(manufacturer),and 35℃for Category 4(k-means-clustered battery module).

Curcumin, the medically active component from Curcuma Tonga (Turmeric), is widely used to treat inflammatory diseases. Protein interaction network (PIN) analysis was used to predict its mechanisms of molecular action. Targets of curcumin were obtained based on ChEMBL and STITCH databases. Protein protein interactions (PPIs) were extracted from the String database. The PIN of curcumin was constructed by Cytoscape and the function modules identified by gene ontology (GO) enrichment analysis based on molecular complex detection (MCODE). A PIN of curcumin with 482 nodes and 1688 interactions was constructed, which has scale-free, small world and modular properties. Based on analysis of these function modules, the mechanism of curcumin is proposed. Two modules were found to be intimately associated with inflammation. With function modules analysis, the anti-inflammatory effects of curcumin were related to SMAD, ERG and mediation by the TLR family. TLR9 may be a potential target of curcumin to treat inflammation. It is known that any strict tensor category (C?I) determines a braided tensor categoryZ(C), the centre ofC. WhenA is a finite dimension Hopf algebra, Drinfel’d has proved thatZ(A M) is equivalent to D(A) M as a braided tensor category, whereA M is the left A-module category andD(A) is the Drinfel’d double ofA. For a braided tensor category, the braidC U,v is a natural isomorphism for any pair of object (U,V) in. If weakening the natural isomorphism of the braidC U,V to a natural transformation, thenC U,V is a prebraid and the category with a prebraid is called a prebraided tensor category. Similarly it can be proved that any strict tensor category determines a prebraided tensor category Z～ (C), the near centre of. An interesting prebraided tensor structure of the Yetter-Drinfel’d category C*A YD C*A given, whereC # A is the smash product bialgebra ofC andA. And it is proved that the near centre of Doi-Hopf module A M(H) C is equivalent to the Yetter-Drinfel’ d C*A YD C*A as prebraided tensor categories. As corollaries, the prebraided tensor structures of the Yetter-Drinfel’d category A YD A , the centres of module category and comodule category are given.

In this paper, a module level fault diagnosis method is presented which considers multi-port device or subnetwork as the basic unit. The fault model in this method is quite similar to an actual condition,hence it has practical meaning. The equations of moedule level fault diagnosis are derived, and thetestability problem for module-fault diagnosis is discussed in general. The paper then gives severaltoplolgical conditions for module-fault testubility, which are applicable to a general nonreciprocal network by introducing a generalized independent path.

The new 1 kW power module for ADS project needs the optimization of cooling design including water flow and tunnel layout, and the water flow of three tons per hour was chosen to be a goal for a 20 kW power *** to analysis from the insertion and integrated loss, about 24 modules were integrated into the rated power. Thus, every module has a cooling flow of 2.1 L/min for RF heat load and power supply loss, which is very hard to achieve if no special consideration and techniques. A new thermal simulation method was introduced for thermal analysis of cooling plate through CST multi-physics suite,especially for temperature of power LDMOS *** specific measures carried out for the higher heat transfer were also presented in this paper.

The cross-flow shearing action produced from the inferior aeration in the Submerged Membrane Bio-reactor(SMBR) is an effective way to further improve anti-fouling effects of membrane *** on the widely-applied vertical structure of flat membrane modules,improvements are made that ladder-type flat membrane structure is designed with a certain inclined angle θ so that the cross-flow velocity of bubble near the membrane surface can be held,and the intensity and times of elastic colli-sion between bubbles and membrane surface can be *** can improve scouring action of membrane surface on aeration and reduce energy consumption of strong aeration in *** de-ducing and improving the mathematics model of collision between bubble and vertical flat put forward by Vries,the relatively suitable incline angle θ under certain aeration place and in certain size rang of bubble can be obtained with the computer iterative calculation ***,for many groups of ladder-type flat membrane in parallel placement in the practical application of SMBR,some sugges-tions are offered:the interval distance of membrane modules is 8―15 mm,and aeration should be op-erated at 5―7 mm among membrane modules,and the optimal design angle of trapeziform membrane is 1.7°―2.5°.

Assessment of the nitrogen （N） balance and its long-term trend is necessary for management practices because of the negative environmental effects caused by an imbalance of reactive N in grassland ecosystems. In this study, we designed a module for the IAP-N （Improving Anthropogenic Practices of managing reactive Nitrogen） model to enable it to assess the N budget of regional grasslands. The module was developed to quantify the individual components of the N inputs and outputs for grassland ecosystems using livestock and human populations, grassland area, and fossil-energy consumption data as the model inputs. In this paper, the estimation approaches for individual components of N budget, data acquisition, and parameter selection are described in detail. The model was applied to assess the N budget of Inner Mongolia in 2006 at the county scale. The simulation results show that the most important pathway of N outputs from the grassland was livestock intake. The N output from livestock intake was especially large in the middle of Inner Mongolia. Biological fixation, atmospheric deposition, and livestock excreta deposition were comparably important for the N inputs into the grassland. The N budget for Inner Mongolia grassland in 2006 was -1.7×10 8 ±0.6×10 8 kg. The case study for Inner Mongolia shows that the new grassland module for the IAP-N model can capture the characteristics of the N budget in a semiarid grassland.

Let E be a countably generated Hilbert module over a C~*-algebra A and B(E) the set ofall bounded module maps on E. We find that B(E) is isometric isomorphic onto the leftmultipliers of K(E), where K(E) is the "compact" module maps on E. In the case that A isinfinitely dimensional primitive C~*-algebra, E is shown to be self-dual if and only if E isalgebraically finitely generated.
