Cyanobacterial harmful algal blooms(CyanoHABs)in inland waters are now among the most pressing environmental issues worldwide,especially in China.Satellite remote sensing has limitations in monitoring CyanoHABs in small water bodies due to spatial and temporal resolution limitations.While Literature and news media have the potential to supplement satellite remote sensing in monitoring CyanoHABs,they have currently not received sufficient attention.In this study,we combined information on the distributions of CyanoHABs from Literature and media for the first time to comprehensively assess the spatiotemporal variation in CyanoHABs in China.We collected,cleaned,validated,and organized data from Literature and media on CyanoHABs in China,resulting in the establishment of a comprehensive database on CyanoHABs in China's inland waters(ChinaCyanoDB)covering 198 water bodies,525 records for 1950-2021.The majority of water bodies with CyanoHABs(CyanoWaters)are located in the eastern China,mainly concentrated in the middle and lower Yangtze region,with a clear upward trend in their number over the last four decades.The ChinaCyanoDB and analytical results can provide valuable data support for monitoring and managing CyanoHABs in China while the database construction method may also be applied to other countries and regions.

Gallbladder cancer(GBC)is a malignancy of biliary tract which is infrequent in developed countries but common in some specific geographical regions of developingCurrently,GBC has a low early diagnosis rate and an extremely poor prognosis,leading to major problems for treatment of GBC.Liver invasion and metastasis one of the main causes of its poor prognosis,with its average overall survival of 6 months.

BACKGROUND Lymphoepithelioma-like carcinoma(LELC)is a non-keratinizing carcinoma with rich lymphocytic infiltration,which primarily originates from the nasopharynx.Primary lung LELC is a type of lung cancer with a relatively low incidence.Herein,we report a rare case of lung LELC with expression of CD56.We also performed a Literature review to summarize the epidemiological,clinical,and prognostic features of this disease.CASE SUMMARY A 51-year-old man was admitted to Cancer Hospital,Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College due to cough and chest pain lasting>2 mo and 1 wk,respectively.Positron emission tomography-computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging examinations revealed the presence of a mass in the right upper lobe with enlargement of lymph nodes and multiple bone metastases.According to the results of bronchoscopy and cervical lymph node biopsy,a diagnosis of lung LELC with CD56-positive staining(CD56+lung LELC)was made.In the Literature,458 cases of lung LELC have been reported.However,only one other case of CD56+lung LELC has been reported thus far.CONCLUSION The mechanism and potential role of CD56 expression in CD56+lung LELC require further investigation.

Compiler testing: a systematic Literature analysis

Compilers are widely-used infrastructures in accelerating the software development,and expected to be trustworthy.In the Literature,various testing technologies have been proposed to guarantee the quality of compilers.However,there remains an obstacle to comprehensively characterize and understand compiler testing.To overcome this obstacle,we propose a Literature analysis framework to gain insights into the compiler testing area.First,we perform an extensive search to construct a dataset related to compiler testing papers.Then,we conduct a bibliometric analysis to analyze the productive authors,the influential papers,and the frequently tested compilers based on our dataset.Finally,we utilize association rules and collaboration networks to mine the authorships and the communities of interests among researchers and keywords.Some valuable results are reported.We find that the USA is the leading country that contains the most influential researchers and institutions.The most active keyword is“random testing”.We also find that most researchers have broad interests within small-scale collaborators in the compiler testing area.

BACKGROUND Parahiatal hernias(PHHs)are rare occurring disease,with a reported incidence of 0.2%-0.35%in patients undergoing surgery for hiatal hernia.We found only a handful of cases of primary PHHs in the Literature.The aim of this paper is to present a case of a primary PHH and perform a systematic review of the Literature.CASE SUMMARY We report the case of a 60-year-old Caucasian woman with no history of thoracoabdominal surgery or trauma,which accused epigastric pain,starting 2 years prior,pseudo-angina and bloating.Based on imagistic findings the patient was diagnosed with a PHH and an associated type I hiatal hernia.Patient underwent laparoscopic surgery and we found an opening in the diaphragm of 7 cm diameter,lateral to the left crus,through which 40%-50% of the stomach had herniated in the thorax,and a small sliding hiatal hernia with an anatomically intact hiatal orifice but slightly enlarged.We performed closure of the defect,suture hiatoplasty and a“floppy”Nissen fundoplication.Postoperative outcome was uneventful,with the patient discharged on the fifth postoperative day.We performed a review of the Literature and identified eight articles regarding primary PHH.All data was compiled into one tabled and analyzed.CONCLUSION Primary PHHs are rare entities,with similar clinical and imagistic findings with paraesophageal hernias.Treatment usually includes laparoscopic approach with closure of the defect and the esophageal hiatus should be dissected and analyzed.Postoperative outcome is favorable in all cases reviewed and no recurrence is cited in the Literature.

Paper evolution graph: multi-view structural retrieval for academic Literature

Academic Literature retrieval concerns about the selection of papers that are most likely to match a user's information needs. Most of the retrieval systems are limited to list-output models, in which the retrieval results are isolated from each other. In this paper, we aim to uncover the relationships between the retrieval results and propose a method to build structural retrieval results for academic Literature, which we call a paper evolution graph(PEG).The PEG describes the evolution of diverse aspects of input queries through several evolution chains of papers. By using the author, citation, and content information, PEGs can uncover various underlying relationships among the papers and present the evolution of articles from multiple viewpoints. Our system supports three types of input queries: keyword query, single-paper query, and two-paper query. The construction of a PEG consists mainly of three steps. First, the papers are soft-clustered into communities via metagraph factorization, during which the topic distribution of each paper is obtained. Second, topically cohesive evolution chains are extracted from the communities that are relevant to the query. Each chain focuses on one aspect of the query. Finally, the extracted chains are combined to generate a PEG, which fully covers all the topics of the query. Experimental results on a real-world dataset demonstrate that the proposed method can construct meaningful PEGs.

Natural killer/T-cell lymphoma with concomitant syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion: A case report and review of Literature

We report a case of natural killer(NK)/T-cell lymphoma with concomitant syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion(SIADH).The patient was a 64-yearold woman with a history of nasopharyngeal carcinoma of over 30 years.She was admitted with a chief complaint of intermittent fever for 2 mo.Palpation after admission indicated a swollen lymph node below the left jaw.Multiple imaging examinations on admission indicated multiple enlarged lymph nodes throughout the body.We performed a left submandibular lymph node biopsy,and the results revealed NK/T-cell lymphoma.A biochemical examination indicated Epstein-Barr virus positivity.At the same time,the patient developed hyponatremia.Based on her laboratory examination and clinical manifestation,decreased plasma osmolality,urine osmolality greater than plasma osmolality,lack of skin swelling,normal blood pressure,normal renal function,no adrenal function detected on serology,and no abnormalities in imaging examination of the adrenal glands,the likelihood of SIADH in the patient was high.After fluid restriction and administration of sodium chloride,the patient’s blood sodium level gradually increased.Subsequently,the immune function of the patient declined,there were severe symptoms of infection,and she died of respiratory failure.NK/T-cell lymphoma associated with SIADH has not,to our knowledge,been previously reported in PubMed.This case emphasizes the importance of monitoring serum ion levels,especially serum sodium,in patients with NK/T-cell lymphoma.

Literature review and economic evaluation of oral and intramuscular ziprasidone treatment among patients with schizophrenia in China

Background Over 10 million Chinese are affected by schizophrenia. The annual cost of schizophrenia in China was estimated at US$2586 per patient.Aims The study has two aims:(1) to conduct a targeted Literature review of the economic Literature on oral ziprasidone in China, and(2) to develop an inpatient economic model that compared the cost of intramuscular ziprasidone with other regimens including electroconvulsive therapy(ECT) for the management of acute agitation in patients with schizophrenia from a hospital's perspective in China.Methods A targeted Literature review was conducted using PubMed and the Chinese Literature databases for studies published between January 2007 and December2017. Studies that assessed costs associated with oral ziprasidone treatment for schizophrenia in China were summarised. In the inpatient economic model,cost measures included hospital room and board,antipsychotics,ECT and medications for the management of extrapyramidal symptoms(EPS). Input for standard antipsychotic regimens and unit cost were obtained from the Literature. Hospital length of stay(LOS), utilisation of ECT and incidence of EPS were derived from the Literature and supplemented/validated with a survey of psychiatrists in China. Cost was presented in 2017 Chinese yuan.Results The average estimated LOS was 29 days with ziprasidone, 33 days with risperidone+benzodiazepine,32 days with olanzapine, 35 days with haloperidol and 29 days with ECT. The cost of antipsychotics was $1260 with ziprasidone, $137 with risperidone+benzodiazepine, $913 with olanzapine and $210 with haloperidol; ECT treatment costs $785. The base-case analysis suggested that higher antipsychotic cost with ziprasidone was offset by savings with shorter LOS. Using intramuscular ziprasidone for acute management was associated with a total cost of $11157, the lowest among all antipsychotic regimens($11 424 with risperidone+benzodiazepine, $11 711 with olanzapine and $11 912 with haloperidol) and slightly higher than ECT($10 606).
