This study aimed to evaluate the satisfaction of village doctors to essential medicines list (EML) and accessibility of essential medicines (EMs) distribution to improve the implementation of EML in village clinics.A total of 422 village doctors from five counties in three provinces of China were surveyed by questionnaires.Logistic regression analysis was conducted to identify the main factors associated with village doctors' evaluation of EML.The results showed that village doctors had a negative evaluation in satisfaction level of EML to village-based care and accessibility of EM distribution.The government should adjust EML regularly based on the actual health status of local villagers in China and focus on adding appropriate drugs that meet the needs of villagers with chronic disease.The local government should also attach importance to the distribution of EMs and maintain their supply in village clinics.

The vertex-arboricity a(G)of a graph G is the minimum number of colors required for a vertex coloring of G such that no cycle is monochromatic.The list vertex-arboricity al(G)is the list-coloring version of this concept.In this paper,we prove that every planar graph G without intersecting 5-cycles has al(G)≤2.This extends a result by Raspaud and Wang[On the vertex-arboricity of planar graphs,European J.Combin.29(2008),1064-1075]that every planar graph G without 5-cycles has a(G)≤2.

BACKGROUND Due to the significant shortage of organs and the increasing number of candidates on the transplant waiting list, there is an urgent need to identify patients who are most likely to benefit from liver transplantation. The albuminbilirubin(ALBI) grading system was recently developed to identify patients at risk for adverse outcomes after hepatectomy. However, the value of the pretransplant ALBI score in predicting outcomes after liver transplantation has not been assessed.AIM To retrospectively investigate the value of the pretransplant ALBI score in predicting outcomes after liver transplantation.METHODS The clinical data of 272 consecutive adult patients who received donation after cardiac death and underwent liver transplantation at our centre from March 2012 to March 2017 were analysed in the cohort study. After the exclusion of patients who met any of the exclusion criteria, 258 patients remained. The performance of the ALBI score in predicting overall survival and postoperative complications after liver transplantation was evaluated. The optimal cut-off value of preoperative ALBI was calculated according to long-term survival status. The outcomes after liver transplantation, including postoperative complications and survival analysis, were measured.RESULTS The remaining 258 consecutive patients were included in the analysis. The median follow-up time was 17.30(interquartile range: 8.90-28.98) mo. Death occurred in 35 patients during follow-up. The overall survival rate was 81.0%.The preoperative ALBI score had a significant positive correlation with the overall survival rate after liver transplantation. The calculated cut-off for ALBI scores to predict postoperative survival was-1.48. Patients with an ALBI score >-1.48 had a significantly lower survival rate than those with an ALBI score ≤-1.48(73.7% vs 87.6%, P < 0.05), and there were no statistically significant differences in survival rates between patients with a model for end stage liver disease score ≥ 10 and < 10 and different Child-Pugh gr

In the process of bromine production,because of lag adjustment methods,there are problems of adjusting delay,raw material wastage and low growth rate.By considering the nature of bromine production,with the help of fuzzy data processing method,computer detection and display technique,we designed an automatic detection instrument for the ratio of chlorine to bromine in oxidized liquid of bromine production.This instrument can be used to detect the different parameters of raw materials adjustment and control in real time,and afford assurance that raw materials will be adjusted in time.This paper briefly introduces the working mechanism,hardware and software design of the instrument.

As part of the digital mine system, a real time emergency route generating algorithm for a large scale metal mine is studied. The tunnel is abstracted and mathematically described by the center line model. A series of definitions are made and the center lines are regularized. In order to improve the quality of the final routes, a center line dataset preprocessing is done according to the factors including the slope threshold and the tunnel closed state information, etc. While in preprocessing, the mineshaft and shaft with the steep slope are excluded implicitly. The interface is preserved for point-like objects (e.g. blowers), directions (e.g. wind direction of blowers) and so on. The final path finding algorithm is optimized by the filter operation that the calculation is only performed at the endpoints and hub points, which can further reduce computing data amount. In our experiment, 3 368 nodes out of 22 401 nodes are selected as key nodes, therefore, the data processing amount of the algorithm is reduced to 1/7 and the routes can be found in real time. The algorithm is implemented and integrated into the final digital mine system.

Pterocarpus santalinus L. f.(Fabaceae;red sanders) is prized for its wood whose colour and fragrance is due to the presence of santalins that have pharmaceutical and industrial uses. Red sanders is listed as an endangered plant species on the IUCN red data list as a result of the exploitation of its wood and essential oil. This review emphasizes the pollination biology, seed germination, vegetative propagation and micropropagation of P. santalinus. Excessive use of P. santalinus has also caused the emergence of various adulterants, so accurate identification is essential.

A complete discrimination system for polynomials with complex coefficients and its automatic generation

By establishing a complete discrimination system for polynomials, the problem of complete root classification for polynomials with complex coefficients is utterly solved, furthermore, the algorithm obtained is made into a general program in Maple, which enables the complete discrimination system and complete root classification of a polynomial to be automatically generated by computer, without any human intervention. Besides, by using the automatic generation of root classification, a method to determine the positive definiteness of a polynomial in one or two indeterminates is automatically presented.

The criteria used by International Union for Conservation of Nature(IUCN) for its Red list of Ecosystems(RLE) are the global standards for ecosystem-level risk assessment, and they have been increasingly used for biodiversity conservation. The changed distribution area of an ecosystem is one of the key criteria in such assessments. The Stipa bungeana grassland is one of the most widely distributed grasslands in the warm-temperate semi-arid regions of China. However, the total distribution area of this grassland was noted to have shrunk and become fragmented because of its conversion to cropland and grazing-induced degradation. Following the IUCN-RLE standards, here we analyzed changes in the geographical distribution of this degraded grassland, to evaluate its degradation and risk of collapse. Past(1950-1980) distribution areas were extracted from the Vegetation Map of China(1:1,000,000). Present realizable distribution areas were equated to these past areas minus any habitat area losses. We then predicted the grassland’s present and future(under the Representative Concentration Pathway 8.5 scenario) potential distribution areas using maximum entropy algorithm(MaxEnt), based on field survey data and nine environmental layers. Our results showed that the S. bungeana grassland was mainly distributed in the Loess Plateau, Hexi Corridor, and low altitudes of the Qilian Mountains and Longshou Mountain. This ecosystem occurred mainly on loess soils, kastanozems, steppe aeolian soils and sierozems. Thermal and edaphic factors were the most important factors limiting the distribution of S. bungeana grassland across China. Since 56.1% of its past distribution area(4.9×10~4 km^2) disappeared in the last 50 a, the present realizable distribution area only amounts to 2.2×10~4 km^2. But only 15.7% of its present potential distribution area(14.0×10~4 km^2) is actually occupied by the S. bungeana grassland. The aim of liver transplantation(LT) for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) is to ensure a rate of disease-free survival similar to that of patients transplanted due to benign disease. Therefore, we are forced to adopt strict criteria when selecting candidates for LT and prioritizing patients on the waiting list(WL), to have clarified indications for bridging therapy for groups at risk for progression or recurrence, and to establish certain limits for downstaging therapies. Although the Milan criteria(MC) remain the standard and most employed criteria for indication of HCC patients for LT by far, in the coming years, criteria will be consolidated that take into account not only data regarding the size/volume and number of tumors but also their biology. This criteria will mainly include the alpha fetoprotein(AFP) values and, in view of their wide variability, any of the published logarithmic models for the selection of candidates for LT. Bridging therapy is necessary for HCC patients on the WL who meet the MC and have the possibility of experiencing a delay for LT greater than 6 mo or any of the known risk factors for recurrence. It is difficult to define single AFP values that would indicate bridging therapy(200, 300 or 400 ng/m L); therefore, it is preferable to rely on the criteria of a French AFP model score > 2. Other single indications for bridging therapy include a tumor diameter greater than 3 cm, more than one tumor, and having an AFP slope greater than 15 ng/m L per month or > 50 ng/m L for three months during strict monitoring while on the WL. When considering the inclusion of patients on the WL who do not meet the MC, it is mandatory to determine their eligibility for downstaging therapy prior to inclusion. The upper limit for this therapy could be one lesion up to 8 cm, 2-3 lesions with a total tumor diameter up to 8 cm, or a total tumor volume of 115 cm^3.
