left-right asymmetry for meson production in SIDIS process

We analyze the left-right asymmetry in the semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering （SIDIS） process using a method where no weighting function are used. Considering all flavor of quarks, we reanalyze the π±production and extend our calculation on the K± production. The predictions on HERMES, COMPASS and JLab kinematics with transversely polarized nucleon target are shown in this paper.

Planar cell polarity regulators in asymmetric organogenesis during development and disease

The phenomenon of planar cell polarity is critically required for a myriad of morphogenetic processes in metazoan and is accurately controlled by several conserved ***“core”proteins,including Friz zled,Flamingo(Celsr),Van Gogh(Vangl),Dishevelled,Prickle,and Diego(Ankrd6),are major components of the Wnt/planar cell polarity *** Fat/Dchs protocadherins and the Scrib polarity complex also function to instruct cellular *** vertebrates,all these pathways are essential for tissue and organ morphogenesis,such as neural tube closure,left-right symmetry breaking,heart and gut morphogenesis,lung and kidney branching,stereociliary bundle orientation,and proximal-distal limb *** in planar polarity genes are closely linked to various congenital *** advances have been made in deciphering their contribution to the establishment of spatially oriented pattern in developing or gans and the maintenance of tissue *** challenge remains to clarify the complex interplay of different polarity pathways in organogenesis and the link of cell polarity to cell fate speciﬁ*** disciplinary approaches are also important to understand the roles of mechanical forces in coupling cellular polarization and *** review outlines current advances on planar polarity regulators in asymmetric organ formation,with the aim to identify questions that deserve further investigation.

The homozygous inv(inversion of embryonic turning)mouse mutant shows situs inversus and polycystic kidney disease,both of which result from the lack of the inv ***,we suggested that inv may be important for the ieft-rightaxis formation,not only in mice but also in Xenopus,and that calmodulin regulates this inv protein ***,weisolated and characterized two Xenopus laevis homologs(Xinv-1 and Xinv-2)of the mouse inv gene,and performedfunctional analysis of the conserved IQ motifs that interact with ***-1 expresses early in development in thesame manner as mouse inv ***,a full-length Xenopus inv mRNA did not randomize cardiac orientationwhen injected into Xenopus embryos,which is different from mouse inv *** to mouse inv mRNA,Xenopusinv mRNA with mutated IQ randomized cardiac *** present study indicates that calmodulin binding sites(IQ motifs)are crucial in controlling the biological activity of both mouse and Xenopus inv *** mouseand Xenopus inv genes have a quite similar structure,the interaction with calmodulin and IQ motifs ofXenopus inv andmouse inv proteins may regulate their function in different ways.

Cer,Nodal,lefty and Pitx are key players during vertebrate left-right(LR)axis *** of these genes have also been identified in several invertebrates and indicated a role in their LR axis *** the function and regulatory relationship of these genes have not been well studied in invertebrates to *** the present study,using Talen-mediated knockdown and Hsp70 promoter-induced ectopic over-expression methods,we demonstrated that all of these four genes are required for establishing the LR axis in the basal chordate *** of Cer and lefty or temporally ectopic over-expression of Nodal and Pitx causes the loss of right structures such as endostyle and club-shaped gland,and the duplication of left organs such as mouth and preoral pit in the right *** treatments suspend movement of gill slits from the ventral to the right *** the contrary,inhibition of Nodal signaling using SB505124 or temporally ectopic over-expression of lefty and Cer results in the loss of the left structures and ectopic development of the right organs in the left *** with these morphological changes,Nodal and Pitx expressions become bilateral(normally only in left side)in embryos injected with either Cer or lefty Talen mRNAs or Hsp70 promoter/Nodal CDS plasmids,but disappear in embryos injected with Hsp70 promoter/Cer or lefty CDS constructs or treated with *** examination of the regulatory relationship of these genes,by determining their asymmetrical expression sequence in embryos under normal developing condition and by analyzing their expression changes in embryos when one of them was knocked down or over-expressed,shows that 1)among the four examined genes,Cer is the earliest asymmetrically expressed,and confined in the right side at late gastrula stage;2)Cer is necessary and sufficient for inhibiting Nodal *** limits Nodal activity in the left side;3)in the left side Nodal induces the expression of itself and lefty
