The Approaches to Cultivating College Students’learning autonomy of English

Learner autonomy is a mainstream view in recent education research. In our country’s traditional English teaching, students are lack of autonomous learning. Cultivating learner autonomy is essential and urgent. This paper provides some referential autonomy teaching methods for college English teachers to adapt to the requirement of learner autonomy and quality education.

An Introduction to The Construction of English Multiplex Teaching Evaluation System in Secondary Vocational Schools

In view of the current situation that the evaluation mode of English Teaching in secondary vocational school is still dominated by the summative evaluation,the new evaluation mode,the multiple evaluation system,is applied to the English teaching practice of secondary vocational school in the form of experiment,and the situation of studentst learning strategies,autonomous learning,interest in learning and English level after the implementation of the multiple evaluation system is *** results show that the multiple evaluation system of English Teaching in secondary vocational school has a positive impact on studentst English learning strategies,learning autonomy and learning interest,and also plays a certain role in promoting the improvement of students’ overall English level.

An Action Research on Constructing a Multiple learning Evaluation System on the Context of College English Teaching Reform

learning evaluation reform, an important part of the College English Teaching Reform, is not only a basis for teachers to reflect on their teaching method, to improve their teaching management, and to ensure the teaching quality, but also an effective means for students to enhance their learning efficiency and to gain sound learning effect as well. This research was intended to apply action research to the construction of multiple learning evaluation system with the aim of proving the effectiveness of the system on raising students＇ learning autonomy to find problems in the teaching, to testify the problems through questionnaire, then to design a feasible teaching strategy and carry out an experimental teaching, and finally to reflect on the whole teaching process from the perspective of how well the learner＇s learning autonomy was enhanced. The research result is valid, positively testifying the presupposition that the Multiple Evaluation System is a comprehensive one, which makes it possible to evaluate the students＇ progress in the whole learning process.
