Objective:To determine the clinical value of compound Xueshuantong capsule in the treatment of diabetic retinopathy on the basis of laser ***:Data were collected from 98 patients with diabetic retinopathy from February 2021 to February *** were divided into two groups by drawing *** experimental group was treated with compound Xueshuantong capsule and laser treatment,whereas the control group was treated with laser treatment ***:The absorption of exudation,resolution of retinal edema,and absorption of bleeding took longer in the control group;the incidence of visual acuity recovery to more than 0.5 and the patients’blood glucose levels were better in the experimental group,plaser treatment combined with compound Xueshuantong capsule can effectively improve the visual function and rehabilitation efficiency of patients with diabetic retinopathy as well as stabilize their blood sugar *** has high clinical application value.

AIM:To investigate the effects of diode laser treatment on ocular biometric parameters in premature infants with retinopathy of prematurity(ROP).METHODS:Premature infants who received diode laser treatment for ROP(n=68)and premature infants with spontaneous regressed ROP without treatment(n=50)were performed longitudinal ocular biometric measurements including anterior chamber depth,lens thickness and axial length as follows:1 d prior to laser treatment,and 3,6,9,and 12 mo after the laser ***:The mean birth weight,gestational age and initial examination time values were 936.53±302.07 g,26.66±2.42 wk,36.26±2.73 wk in the treatment group and 959.78±260.08 g,27.28±2.10 wk,36.56±2.54 wk in the control *** was no statistically significant difference in these demographic characteristics of the *** chamber depth,lens thickness and axial length demonstrated statistically significant linear increases during the study period in the two groups(Plaser *** of the lens thickness at 9 th and 12 th months(9 th month 3.70±0.22 vs 3.60±0.21 mm,P=0.017;12 th month 3.81±0.21 vs 3.69±0.22 mm,P=0.002)and the axial length at 12 th month(19.35±0.79 vs 19.13±0.54 mm,P=0.031)after laser treatment were statistically higher in the treatment ***:Diode laser retinal photocoagulation treatment in premature infants seems to increase the lens thickness and axial length.

Microstructures of a duplex-phase Zr-2.5Nb alloy treated by pulsed laser were characterized by electron backscatter diffraction （EBSD） and electron channeling contrast （ECC） imaging techniques. Major attention has been paid to non-equilibrium hybrid microstructure consisting of both prior a and β phases, and a plates transformed from new β phases to probe α→β transformation characteristics in the alloy. The origin of the hybrid microstructure is attributed to the specific thermodynamic conditions induced by the pulsed laser treatment. ECC observation shows that newly formed [3 phases during laser heating prefer to nucleate and grow at the expense of edges of prior α grains rather than their interiors. EBSD analyses further reveal that orientations of the new β phases are not determined by the prior a grains according to the Burgers relationship but maintain those of the prior β phases in an epitaxial growth way.

The behaviour of RE added into steel surface by laser rapid solidification processing(LRSP) and their effects on surface properties were studied. Experimental results show that RE can be added into steel surface layer by LRSP of RE containing coating. The RE in the steel surface can react with oxygen and sulphur, then be dissolved in the grains or grain boundaries, and form intermetallic compounds RE 2Fe 17 . The addition of RE by LRSP has very strong effects on the properties of steel surface.

The aircraft aluminum 2024-T62 is shock-treated by pulsed laser with the same wavelength and different pulse durations. The laser parameters, arrangements of laser optics and strengthening effects are investigated. The optimal laser-shocking parameters, i.e., a pulse durotion (FWHM) of 30ns, shot spot 7 to 10mm in diameter and pulse energy of 15-20J are obtained under the condition that the Q modulation crystal is KD*P and the laser optical system has three amplification stages. Therefore, the fatigue life of aluminum specimens is increased greatly and the maximum increasement is 23. 7 times.

AIM：To compare quality of life and treatment satisfaction between patients who had selective laser trabeculoplasty（SLT） and those on ***：A prospective clinical trial on 143 glaucoma patients that received SLT and a control group that continued using anti glaucoma medication was conducted. Tear break-up time（BUT）, punctuate keratitis, need for help, use of artificial tears and the treatment satisfaction survey of intraocular pressure（IOP） were measured at baseline, 6 and 12 mo. RESULTS：SLT was able to reduce the mean number of medications needed from 1.56±0.81 to 0.42±0.66 at six months and to 0.33±0.69 at one year. Punctuate keratitis was observed significantly less often（12.24%） after SLT than before（35.94%; P=0.03）. Use of artificial tears and BUT did not change significantly after SLT（P〉0.05）. At baseline, patients in the SLT group were significantly less convinced of medication effectiveness（P=0.006） and complained more about side effects（P=0.003）. After SLT, these patients had significantly more confidence in their therapy（P〈0.001）, showed less side effects（P=0.006）, complained less about changes in appearance of the eyes（P=0.003） and were less inconvenienced by the use of eye drops（P〈0.001）.CONCLUSION：SLT is able to improve treatment-related quality of life in glaucoma patients.

Previous work showed that pulse-laser irradiation can strengthen metal multilayer thin films through intermetallic formation and the degree of strengthening is a function of laser pulse *** this work,the effect of individual layer thickness(λ)and total multilayer thickness(h)on the resulting microstructure and mechanical strength of laser-treated Ti/Ni multilayers was further *** were carried out on fourλ/hcombinations using individual layer thickness of 20 nm and 50 nm,and total multilayer thickness of 500 nm and1μm,*** intermetallic strengthening was observed in the 500 nm thick multilayers,especially with the 20 nm layer thickness,but not in the 1μm thick ***,the multilayer surface morphology after laser treatment was observed to be dominated by competition between laser-induced optical interference and thermal melting,with the former leading to ripple or cross-hatched patterns and the latter leading to melted surfaces with pores and cracks.
