In summer Palaemon carinicauda larvae are hatched in salt-fresh water. The prelarval development may be divided into six stages. In the larval development of the Palaemon carinicauda has close relationship with Macrobrachium carcinus (P. C. Choudbury, 1971). They differ from larval of Macrobrachium carcinus in that the buds of the first, second, fifth pereiopod occur on first stage and the buds of the third, fourth pereiopod occur on fourth stage and the fifth pereiopod become biromous types on fifth stage. The terminal segment between spine bering spinules posterior on telson.

In order to understand the occurrence and development of Semanotus bifasciatus(Motschulsky),a borer insect of Platy-cladus orientalis in parts of northern and eastern China and to improve its prediction,the developmental threshold temperature(Ct) and effective accumulated temperature(K) of *** were determined under conditions of constant and variable *** results show that under constant temperatures the value of Ct has a range of 8.90±1.77°C and the value of K lies between 95.19±13.14 degree-day for eggs;the values for larvae are Ct = 13.26±3.06°C and the number of degree-day is K = 2,885.07±187.87 degree-day;for pupae the ranges are Ct = 8.93±2.49°C and K = 131.20±25.63 *** the condition of ambient tempera-tures,the values for eggs are Ct = 17.33±1.24°C and K = 70.79±8.99 *** is suggested that *** adults over-winter in a state of dormancy,not at a *** winter may accelerate the life cycle of *** can be used to predict an early occurrence of ***.

缢蛏室内外结合人工育苗的研究

The second-instar healthy larvae of Clostera. anastomosis were collected in the artificial woodland of poplar in Shuangcheng Town, Heilongjiang Province, China. The dead larvae of C. anastomosis infected by granulosis virus （GV） of Clostera anastomosis were grinded to obtain GV. The GV viral pesticide was diluted to seven concentrations, 1.58×10^3PIB·mL^-1, 1,58×10^4PIB·mL^-1, 1.58×10^5PIB·mL^-1 1.58×10^6PIB·mL^-1, 1,58×10^7PIB·mL^-1; 1.58×10^8PIB·mL^-1 and 1.58×10^9PIB·mL^-1 and the fresh poplar leaves were dipped in the seven concentrations liquids to feed the larvae. After nine days the mortality of larvae was investigated. The minimum corrected mortality （7.32%） of larvae was observed at concentrations of 1.58×10^3PIB·mL^-1 and the maximal mortality （97,36%） was observed at concentration of 1.58×10^9PIB·mL^-1. The regression equation between the logarithm of the virus concentration and the mortality was y= 1.946＋0.558x The LC50 was 2.97×10^5PIB·mL^-1. The LT50 for the virus concentration of 1.58×10^5, 1.58×10^6, 1.58×10^7, 1,58×10^58, 1.58×10^9 PIB·mL^-1 were 8.55d, 6.89d, 5.9d, 4.65d, and 4.08d, respectively, shorting gradually with the concentration increasing, It is concluded that the toxicity of Clostera anastomosis GV is very strong and as a kind of insecticides it has big potential in practical application.
