A Class of Real-Time Parallel Combined Methods ofDigital Simulation for large systems

In this paper, a class of real-time parallel combined methods (RTPCM) of the digital simulation for a partitioned large system is presented. By means of combination of the parallelism across the system with the parallelism across the method, stiff and non-stiff subsystems are solved in parallel on parallel computer by a parallel Rosenbrock method and a parallel RK method, respectively. Their construction, convergence and numerical stability are discussed, and the digitalsimulation experiments are conducted.

Reliability Improvement of large Multi-state Series-parallel systems

In the paper, excess methods for improving the reliability of multi-state series-parallel systems are presented： for the hot reserve of single components, the cold reserve of single components, and the mixed （hot and cold） reserve of single components. A process is also introduced to improve the reliability of these methods by replacing their components with more reliable ones. New theorems for multi-state limit reliability functions in homogeneous and non-homogeneous series-parallel large systems composed of components with improved reliability are presented, and applied to compare the effects of these systems in different reliability improving methods.

The Successive Orthogonalization Decentralized Kalman Filter (SODKF ) is a new method which is used for large system state estimation. It can be applied not only to large system decentralization, but also to precision realization at approximately the same level of the global filter, thus, making possible the engineering operation as well as shortening the computing time. This paper discusses the principles and features of SODKF when used in GPS/INS integrated navigation system. The system will be firstly divided into three subsystems and then corrected in both open and closed loops. The system simulation results by two integrated patterns show that SODKF is efficient and realizable. While the three subsystems are simulated in series, the computing speed doubles that of the global system. In addition, its optimal estimating precision remains unchanged. It can be concluded from this paper that large integrated navigation systems with GPS, INS, Terrain Match, Loran C, Doppler Radar and Radio Altimeter can be made more efficient by this multi subsystem of navigation.

＜正＞ A divide-and-conquer local correlation approach for correlation energy calculations on large molecules is proposed for any post-Hartree-Fock correlation method, which computationally achieves linear scaling even for medium-sized systems. Our test calculations demonstrate mat this simple approach recovers more than 99.0% of the conventional second-order Moller-Plesset perturbation theory correlation energies.
