The non-destructive analysis of ancient jade artifacts unearthed from the Liangzhu sites at Yuhang,Zhejiang

Samples of the jade artifacts unearthed from the Liangzhu sites at Yuhang (Fanshan,Yaoshan, Huiguanshan and Tangshan) of Zhejiang province were described. The chemical composition, phase and jade structure of a hundred and more intact samples were analyzed by the non-destructive techniques of PIXE, XRD and laser Raman spectroscopy. Results showed that the minerals of the jade artifacts mostly belonged to tremolite and tremolite-actinolite. Relationship of the civilization development in the Neolithic age and the application of tremolite type mineral in jade artifacts was discussed. The contents of rare and trace elements in tremolite jade artfacts and in mineral samples were measured for the first time. The possible mineral sources of these tremolite type jade artifacts were discussed.

The geochemical and U-series isotopic characteristics of hydrothermal sulfide samples from the jade site (127°04.5′E, 27°15′N, water depth 1300-1450 m) at jade site in the Okinawa Trough were analyzed. In the hydrothermal sulfide samples bearing sulfate (samples HOK1 and HOK2), the LREEs are relatively enriched. All the hydrothermal sulfide samples except HOK1 belong to Zn-rich hydrothermal sulfide. In comparison with Zn-rich hydrothermal sulfides from other fields, the contents of Zn, Pb, Ag, Cd, Au and Hg are higher, the contents of Fe, Al, Cr, Co, Ni, Sr, Te, Cs, Ti and U lower, and the 210Pb radioactivity ratios and 210Pb/Pb ratios very low. In the hydrothermal sulfide mainly composed of sphalerite, the correlations between rare elements Hf and U, and Hf and Mn as well as that between dispersive elements Ga and Zn, are strongly positive; also the contents of Au and Ag are related to Fe-sulfide, because the low temperature promotes enrichment of Au and Ag. Meanwhile, the positive correlations between Fe and Bi and between Zn and Cd are not affected by the change of mineral assemblage. Based on the 210Pb/Pb ratios of hydrothermal sulfide samples (3.99×10-5-5.42×10?5), their U isotopic composition (238U content 1.15-2.53 ppm, 238U activity 1.07-1.87 dpm/g, 234U activity 1.15-2.09 dpm/g and 234U/238U ratio 1.07-1.14) and their 232Th and 230Th contents are at base level, and the chronological age of hydrothermal sulfide at jade site in the Okinawa Trough is between 200 and 2000 yr.

jade has been valued and worshiped in China for millennia.As early as the prehistoric period,it was deemed a medium for connecting earth and heaven and communicating with ancestors and immortals.It was therefore sculpted into ritual objects.The Hongshan Culture custom of using only jade pieces as funerary objects signifies,in some sense,the advent of a civilization governed by wellestablished etiquette rules.

The Liaoning Province in the northeastern part of the North China Craton(NCC) hosts several tremolite jade(nephrite) deposits. Here we investigate the Sangpiyu tremolite jade deposit where the relationship between abundant graphite inclusions within the jade remains enigmatic. We employ petrography, electron probe microanalysis, X-ray-diffraction, and Raman spectroscopy to characterize the tremolite jade and its inclusion minerals. The Sangpiyu jade is predominately composed of tremolite with minor calcite, dolomite, serpentine, titanite, zoisite, allanite, chlorite,apatite, chromite and graphite. Raman spectroscopy of graphite inclusions shows that the D1/G intensity ratio ranges from 0.78 to 0.88 in deep green samples and from 0.05 to 0.23 in dark green samples. The ranges of D1/(D1 + G) integral area ratio for these types are from 0.0548 to 0.3037 and 0.5528 to 0.7355 respectively. The formation temperature of graphite inclusions in the dark green tremolite jade is computed as 549.8 ℃, whereas that for the deep green sample is about343.2 ℃. Our results suggest that the jade formation occurred in a multi-stage process through the action of hydrothermal fluids and metamorphism possibly in a subduction-related setting at moderate to high temperatures.

Excavated jades dating to the Western Zhou period (1050―771 BCE) from the Xi’an area in Shaanxi Province, China, and contemporaneous jades in the collections of the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery at the Smithsonian Institution have been studied to learn about the jade and stone materials and how they were worked during the Western Zhou period. Materials identification was carried out using a combination of techniques such as Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. Tool marks were studied using stereomicroscopy and examination of mold impressions using scanning electron microscopy. All of these objects were pro- duced through simple processes involving solid drilling, riffling, and sharp point abrasion; and no evidence was found for the use of rotary tools for incising or sawing.

主瓣欺骗式干扰增加了雷达对真实目标的检测难度,是雷达抗干扰领域的研究重点。文中就一种空域-极化域-多脉冲域联合的盲源分离算法进行了研究。该算法以特征矩阵联合对角化(Joint Approximate Diagonalization of Eigen-Matrices,jade)盲源分离算法为基础,利用空域-极化域的角度相位差和多脉冲域的多普勒频率相位差分离出目标和干扰。首先,利用多个阵元的空域信息和极化域信息构建正交极化通道;然后,利用不同脉冲间目标和干扰径向速度差带来的多普勒频率差构建三域联合接收阵列;最后,将三域维度构造的数据作为盲源分离的输入,分离出目标信号和欺骗式干扰。计算机仿真验证,该算法可以在干扰完全淹没目标信号时,利用任意一个维度产生的差异成功分离出目标和干扰信号。

本文以溶胶凝胶-自蔓延法在不同温度下制备的W型铁氧体XRD衍射曲线为数据来源,选取其中有谷点、有肩点和完全重合3种类型的衍射叠合峰,分别采用jade、Peakfit和Origin软件,对3类叠合峰进行分峰拟合,并从拟合准确性、绘图能力、专业性、适用范围、操作简易程度对3种软件的分峰拟合功能进行了对比分析。结果表明:origin软件不适用于完全重合叠合峰的分峰拟合,而jade和Peakfit软件均可实现3类叠合峰的分峰拟合;origin在绘图和操作简易程度方面体现一定优势;Peakfit在适用范围及拟合准确性方面较具优势;而jade在专业性、拟合准确性、适用范围方面能力均较为突出。

New occurrences of jadeitite, jadeite quartzites, and jadeite-lawsonitequartzites have recently been discovered in the Rio San Juan Complex （RSJC） of the northern Dominican Republic. These rocks are found in serpentinite mé1anges associated with a former intra-oceanic subduction zone （Fig. 1）. The mé1anges contain blocks of various high-pressure （HP） metamorphic rock types such as blueschist, eclogite, jadeitite, orthogneiss, rare cymritebearing rocks, marble and metapelite.

研究一种基于源信号高阶统计信息的矩阵联合近似对角化独立元分析(jade-ICA)方法,并将其应用于滚动轴承故障声发射(AE)信号的盲源分离。滚动轴承的声发射源信号一般具有衰减性和准周期性,多组信号间还具有时差性,信号被多个传感器接收。通过最大程度的联合近似对角化,可以使源信号与分离信号有效的一一对应,克服非线性和时差的影响;通过高阶统计的高斯噪声不敏感性可以有效抑制随机观测噪声对分离结果的影响。选用相关系数、二次残差、性能指数和频谱特征构成系列时频域评价指标对分离结果进行较为全面的验证。仿真结果证明了该方法的可行性和有效性。
