Coordinated control between a grid forming inverter and grid following inverters suppling power in a standalone microgrid

Battery energy storage systems,fuel cells,and photovoltaic generators are being adopted in distribution networks to achieve CO;emission *** power sources require inverters to connect to AC ***,sub-networks,such as a microgrids containing inverter power sources,may be disconnected from the utility network and operated in a standalone mode during extended *** study focuses on a standalone microgrid supplied by inverter power sources without a synchronous generator and proposes a new microgrid inverter *** this inverter control,a single grid forming inverter is operated as a master power source to determine frequency and voltage,and other inverters,called grid following inverters,are operated as subordinate power sources with active and reactive power *** necessary functions in the energy management system are examined,and the coordinated operation of all inverters in the microgrid is demonstrated via simulation.

Centralized-local PV voltage control considering opportunity constraint of short-term fluctuation

This study proposes a two-stage photovoltaic(PV)voltage control strategy for centralized control that ignores short-term load *** the first stage,a deterministic power flow model optimizes the 15-minute active cycle of the inverter and reactive outputs to reduce network loss and light *** the second stage,the local control stabilizes the fluctuations and tracks the system state of the first *** uncertain interval model establishes a chance constraint model for the inverter voltage-reactive power local ***-order cone optimization and sensitivity theories were employed to solve the *** effectiveness of the model was confirmed using a modified IEEE 33 bus *** intraday control outcome for distributed power generation considering the effects of fluctuation uncertainty,PV penetration rate,and inverter capacity is analyzed.

A novel stand-alone photovoltaic system topology is proposed in this paper,in which push-pull output circuit is *** system consists of battery array,CUK charger,battery,boost transformation and *** strategy based on the battery current regulation principle is adopted in CUK charger,by the way which propsed,a 100% battery state of charge is reached in shorter *** topology using push-pull structure transformation,so that the output from the battery of 24V DC,rose to meet the needs of inverter 380V(bus voltage).System uses closed-loop control,experiments show that the method is simple,effective and flexible,and be able to ensure the stable operation of the system.
