With the continuing progress in space exploration,a new and perplexing condition related to spaceflight ocular syndrome has emerged in the past four decades.National Aeronautics and Space Administration(NASA) has named this condition "spaceflight-associated neuro-ocular syndrome"(SANS).This article gives an overview of the current research about SANS and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) by analyzing the existing publications on Pub Med and CNKI and reports from NASA about SANS,summarizing the potential pathogenesis of SANS and physical Interventions for treating SANS,and discussing the feasibility of treating SANS with TCM.Due to the unique characteristics of the space environment,it is infeasible to conduct large-scale human studies of SANS.SANS may be the result of the interaction of multiple factors,including inflammation and fluid displacement in the optic nerve sheath and cerebrospinal fluid.We should pay attention to SANS.Visual function is not only related to the health of astronauts but also closely related to space operations.TCM has antioxidative stress and antiapoptotic effects and is widely used for optic nerve diseases.TCM has great potential to prevent SANS.

Attention and Intervention of Oncologists on Oxaliplatin-induced Adverse Reactions in China' Mainland:A Cross-sectional Internet-based Survey

Objective This cross-sectional study aimed to investigate the current attention and Intervention of oncologists on oxaliplatin(OXA)-induced adverse reactions(ADRs).Methods In 31 provinces or administrative regions across China,401 oncologists were surveyed through a self-designed questionnaire.The survey queried the basic information of respondents,clinical use of OXA,OXA-induced ADRs,and relative Interventions.Chi-square tests and multiple logistic regression were used to explore the sociodemographic factors influencing the safety perception of OXA and the relevant Interventions.Results The survey showed that the age of respondents was mainly distributed between 30 and 40 years and the working period for most oncologists was no more than 5 years.Oncologists with long working years were more willing to conduct patient education and inquire about ADRs than those with short working years.The rate of ADRs reported by oncologists with intermediate professional titles was significantly higher than that reported by oncologists with junior and senior professional titles.Conclusion Our findings indicate that oncologists in China's Mainland are concerned about OXA-induced ADRs,but the reporting of ADRs still needs to be strengthened.Therefore,training and educational programs are urgently needed to improve the risk management of OXA-induced ADRs among oncologists.

Identifying the factors that may impact Intervention effectiveness of primary students is crucial for developing targeted Intervention strategies on heatwave adaption.The purpose of the study was to assess how the family factors could affect the Intervention effects of primary school students to adapt heatwave,using the data from a previously conducted primary school-based Intervention study.The study recruited 648 students(9-13 years old)and their parents from two primary schools in Dongtai of Jiangsu province,China.From May to September 2017,a 5-mon Intervention for enhancing knowledge,attitude and practice(KAP)was implemented at the Intervention school.The students'KAP scores and the family-related information were measured by designed self-administered questionnaires at Intervention school and control school separately before and after Intervention.The effects of the Intervention were explored through the propensity score matching and difference-in-difference method(PSM-DID),and stratifed analysis were conducted by family factors.The overall KAP score increased by 2.391(95%CI:1.881,2.902)after Intervention,which shows that the Intervention was effective.The students whose parents with higher school educational attainment,parents with employment,and household number≤3 achieved significantly higher increment of KAP scores than their counterparts.Although students whose parents in marriage achieved higher score increasing than parents not in marriage,the difference was non-significant.Our findings indicated that parental education status,working status and the household size were the influence factors of heatwave adaption Interventions for primary school students.Future Interventions should take parental education status,working status and household size into account to improve the effectiveness of heatwave adaption Intervention for primary school students.

Influence of cognitive impairment on cardiac mortality after percutaneous coronary Intervention in very elderly patients: a retrospective observational study

Background Cognitive impairment (CI) increases cardiac mortality among very elderly patients. Percutaneous coronary Intervention (PCI) for ischemic heart disease (IHD) patients is considered a favorable strategy for decreasing cardiac mortality. Here, we investigated the influence of CI on cardiac mortality after PCI in very elderly patients. Methods We performed a retrospective observational analysis of patients who received PCI between 2012 and 2014 at the South Miyagi Medical Center, Japan. IHD patients over 80 years old who underwent the Mini-Mental State Examination for CI screening during hospitalization and/or who had been diagnosed with CI were included. Participants were divided into CI and non-CI groups, and cardiac mortality and incidence of adverse cardiac events in a 3-year follow-up period were compared between groups. Statistical analyses were performed using the t-test,χ^2 test, and multivariable Cox regression analysis, with major comorbid illness and conventional cardiac risk factors as confounders. Results Of 565 patients, 95 were included (41 CI, 54 non-CI). Cardiac mortality during the follow-up period was significantly higher in the CI group (36%) compared with the non-CI group (13%)(OR = 4.3, 95% CI: 1.56–11.82, P < 0.05). CI was an independent cardiac prognostic factor after PCI and, for CI patients, living only with a CI partner was an independent predictor of cardiac death within three years. Conclusions CI significantly affected cardiac prognosis after PCI in very elderly patients, particularly those living with a CI partner. To improve patients’ prognoses, social background should be considered alongside conventional medical measures.

Background:Various experimental and clinical studies have reported on coronary microcirculatory dysfunction("no-reflow"phenomenon).Nevertheless,pathogenesis and effective treatment are yet to be fully elucidated.This study aimed to measure the intracoronary pressure gradient in the no-reflow artery during emergent percutaneous coronary Intervention and explore the potential mechanism of no-reflow.Methods:From September 1st,2018 to June 30th,2019,intracoronary pressure in acute myocardial infarction patient was continuously measured by aspiration catheter from distal to proximal segment in the Department of Coronary Care Unit,Tianjin Chest Hospital,respectively in no-reflow arteries(no-reflow group)and arteries with thrombolysis in myocardial infarction-3 flow(control group).At least 12 cardiac cycles were consecutively recorded when the catheter was pulled back.The forward systolic pressure gradient was calculated as proximal systolic pressure minus distal systolic pressure.Comparison between groups was made using the Student t test,Mann-Whitney U-test or Chi-square test,as appropriate.Results:Intracoronary pressure in 33 no-reflow group and 26 in control group were measured.The intracoronary forward systolic pressure gradient was-1.3(-4.8,0.7)and 3.8(0.8,8.8)mmHg in no-reflow group and control group(Z=-3.989,P<0.001),respectively,while the forward diastolic pressure gradient was-1.0(-3.2,0)and 4.6(0,16.5)mmHg in respective groups(Z=-3.851,P<0.001).Moreover,the intracoronary forward pressure gradient showed significant difference between that before and after nicorandil medication(Z=-3.668,P<0.001 in systolic pressure gradient and Z=-3.530,P<0.001 in diastolic pressure gradient).Conclusions:No reflow during emergent coronary revascularization is significantly associated with local hemodynamic abnormalities in the coronary arteries.Intracoronary nicorandil administration at the distal segment of a coronary artery with an aspiration catheter could improve the microcirculatory dysfunction and resume normal coronary

Background:Exercise is considered as an important Intervention for treatment and prevention of several diseases,such as osteoarthritis,obesity,hypertension,and Alzheimer's disease.This review summarizes decadal exercise Intervention studies with various rat models across 6 major systems to provide a better understanding of the mechanisms behind the effects that exercise brought.Methods:PubMed was utilized as the data source.To collect research articles,we used the following terms to create the search:(exercise[Title]OR physical activity[Title]OR training[Title])AND(rats[Title/Abstract]OR rat[Title/Abstract]OR rattus[Title/Abstract]).To best cover targeted studies,publication dates were limited to"within 11 years."The exercise Intervention methods used for different diseases were sorted according to the mode,frequency,and intensity of exercise.Results:The collected articles were categorized into studies related to 6 systems or disease types:motor system(17 articles),metabolic system(110 articles),cardiocerebral vascular system(171 articles),nervous system(71 articles),urinary system(2 articles),and cancer(21 articles).Our review found that,for different diseases,exercise Intervention mostly had a positive effect.However,the most powerful effect was achieved by using a specific mode of exercise that addressed the characteristics of the disease.Conclusion:As a model animal,rats not only provide a convenient resource for studying human diseases but also provide the possibility for exploring the molecular mechanisms of exercise Intervention on diseases.This review also aims to provide exercise Intervention frameworks and optimal exercise dose recommendations for further human exercise Intervention research.

Purpose'. To examine adolescent experiences and perspectives of the GoActive Intervention (ISRCTN31583496) using mixed methods processevaluation to determine satisfaction with Intervention components and interpret a*dolescents experiences of the Intervention process in order toprovide insights for future Intervention design.Methods'. Participants (n = 1542;13.2 土 0.4 years, mean 土 SD) provided questionnaire data at baseline (shyness, activity level) and post-Intervention(Intervention acceptability, satisfaction with components). Between-group differences (boys vs. girls and shy/inactive vs. others) weretested with linear regression models, accounting for school clustering. Data from 16 individual interviews (shy/inactive) and 11 focus groupswith 48 participants (mean = 4;range 2—7) were thematically coded. Qualitative and quantitative data were merged in an integrative mixedmethods convergence matrix, which denoted convergence and dissonance across datasets.Results'. Effect sizes for quantitative results were small and may not represent substantial between-group differences. Boys (vs. girls) preferredclass-based sessions (0 = 0.2, 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.1—0.3);qualitative data suggested that this was because boys preferred competition,which was supported quantitatively (0 = 0.2, 95%CI: 0.1-0.3). Shy/inactive students did not enjoy the competition (0 = -0.3, 95%CI:—0.5 to —0.1). Boys enjoyed trying new activities more (0 = 0.1, 95%CI: 0.1 -0.2);qualitative data indicated a desire to try new activities acrossall subgroups but identified barriers to choosing unfamiliar activities with self-imposed choice restriction leading to boredom. Qualitative datahighlighted critique of mentorship;adolescents liked the idea, but older mentors did not meet expectations.Conclusion. We interpreted adolescent perspectives of Intervention components and implementation to provide insights into future complexInterventions aimed at increasing young people's physical activity in school-based settings. 本文利用SARIMA模型处理线性问题的优势、干预模型处理突发事件及异常值的优势、支持向量回归(SVR)模型或BP神经网络模型处理非线性问题的优势,提出了一种串联组合预测模型:SARIMA-Intervention-SVR/BP神经网络串联模型。通过对受911事件影响的美国航空客运里程、受非典影响的北京入境旅游人数以及受新冠疫情影响的中国民航货运量三个数据集的实证分析,证明了该串联模型相对于单一模型、SARIMA-Intervention串联模型以及一些衍生串并联组合模型在受到以上干预时预测的有效性。

Digital Social and Emotional Literacy Intervention for Vulnerable Children in Brazil:Participants’Experiences

Social emotional literacy(SEL)Interventions are widely implemented through schools,with growing evidence for a range of positive child outcomes.Increasingly,such Interventions are delivered on online platforms.To date,there is limited evidence about digital SEL Interventions in low-and middle-income countries(LMIC).The aim of this study was to explore the perceptions and experiences of children,parents and facilitator of the potential value of addressing SEL via tailored digital Intervention.The Intervention was designed to help children,in Brazil,to cope during the first COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.The Intervention was delivered via a digital platform to groups of three children for 45 min per week for nine.Thirteen children,nine parents and nine facilitators were interviewed following the completion of the Intervention.The data was analysed through a codebook thematic approach,which led to three themes:empowerment,participatory aspects of the Intervention and digital adaptation.Overall,children’s SEL development was reported to be supported during the COVID-19 pandemic,by the application of new skills outside the sessions.Children reported a number of empowering factors such as being heard and belonging.A range of useful participatory tools were identified including storytelling,games,drawings and videos.Blended SEL Interventions involving both face-to-face and web-based facilitation could be developed within a tiered model of universal mental health promotion and targeted prevention.Access to online platforms would increase reach to large numbers of children in LMIC,especially in contexts of disadvantage.
