Securing the internet of health things with Certificateless Anonymous Authentication Scheme

internet of health things(IoHT)is a subset of internet of things(IoT)technology that includes interconnected medical devices and sensors used in medical and healthcare information ***,IoHT is susceptible to cybersecurity threats due to its reliance on low-power biomedical devices and the use of open wireless channels for *** this article,we intend to address this shortcoming,and as a result,we propose a new scheme called,the certificateless anonymous authentication(CAA)*** proposed scheme is based on hyperelliptic curve cryptography(HECC),an enhanced variant of elliptic curve cryptography(ECC)that employs a smaller key size of 80 bits as compared to 160 *** proposed scheme is secure against various attacks in both formal and informal security *** formal study makes use of the Real-or-Random(ROR)model.A thorough comparative study of the proposed scheme is conducted for the security and efficiency of the proposed scheme with the relevant existing *** results demonstrate that the proposed scheme not only ensures high security for health-related data but also increases *** proposed scheme’s computation cost is 2.88 ms,and the communication cost is 1440 bits,which shows its better efficiency compared to its counterpart schemes.

Falling is among the most harmful events older adults may *** the continuous growth of the aging population in many societies,developing effective fall detection mechanisms empowered by machine learning technologies and easily integrable with existing healthcare systems becomes *** paper presents a new healthcare internet of health things(IoHT)architecture built around an ensemble machine learning-based fall detection system(FDS)for older *** to deep neural networks,the ensemble multi-stage random forest model allows the extraction of an optimal subset of fall detection features with minimal *** number of cascaded random forest stages is automatically *** study uses a public dataset of fall detection samples called SmartFall to validate the developed fall detection *** SmartFall dataset is collected based on the acquired measurements of the three-axis accelerometer in a *** scenario in this dataset is classified and labeled as a fall or a *** comparison to the three machine learning models—K-nearest neighbors(KNN),decision tree(DT),and standard random forest(SRF),the proposed ensemble classifier outperformed the other models and achieved 98.4%*** developed healthcare IoHT framework can be realized for detecting fall accidents of older people by taking security and privacy concerns into account in future work.

In recent years,the significant growth in the internet of things(IoT)technology has brought a lot of attention to information and communication *** IoT paradigms like the internet of Vehicle things(IoVT)and the internet of health things(IoHT)create massive volumes of data every day which consume a lot of bandwidth and ***,to process such large volumes of data,the existing cloud computing platforms offer limited resources due to their distance from IoT ***,cloudcomputing systems produce intolerable latency problems for latency-sensitive real-time ***,a newparadigm called fog computingmakes use of computing nodes in the form of mobile devices,which utilize and process the real-time IoT devices data in orders of *** paper proposes workload-aware efficient resource allocation and load balancing in the fog-computing environment for the *** proposed algorithmic framework consists of the following components:task sequencing,dynamic resource allocation,and load *** consider electrocardiography(ECG)sensors for patient’s critical tasks to achieve maximum load balancing among fog nodes and to measure the performance of end-to-end delay,energy,network consumption and average *** proposed algorithm has been evaluated using the iFogSim tool,and results with the existing approach have been *** experimental results exhibit that the proposed technique achieves a 45%decrease in delay,37%reduction in energy consumption,and 25%decrease in network bandwidth consumption compared to the existing studies.

Fracture healing progress monitoring techniques attract global research attention due to the importance of selecting the timing of removing the fixation *** this end,in this research,we present a piezoelectric-based smart internal fixation device,in which a piezoelectric sandwich structure is laminated to the surface of a bone *** the content,we explain the reasons for utilizing piezoelectric films,elaborate the mechanism of fracture monitoring,and introduce the mechanical parameters of the *** simulation and experimental results show that the electrical output of the device is associated with the elastic modulus of the filler between the tested broken bones when the working load is maintained,indicating that the bone recovery progress could be successfully detected by the developed technique.
