Endowing flexible and adaptable fiber devices with light-emitting capabilities has the potential to revolutionize the current design philosophy of intelligent,wearable interactive ***,significant challenges remain in developing fiber devices when it comes to achieving uniform and customizable light effects while utilizing lightweight ***,we introduce a mass-produced,wearable,and interactive photochromic fiber that provides uniform multicolored light *** designed independent waveguides inside the fiber to maintain total internal reflection of light as it traverses the *** impact of excessive light leakage on the overall illuminance can be reduced by utilizing the saturable absorption effect of fluorescent materials to ensure light emission uniformity along the transmission *** addition,we coupled various fluorescent composite materials inside the fiber to achieve artificially controllable spectral radiation of multiple color systems in a single *** prepared fibers on mass-produced kilometer-long using the thermal drawing *** fibers can be directly integrated into daily wearable devices or clothing in various patterns and combined with other signal input components to control and display patterns as *** work provides a new perspective and inspiration to the existing field of fiber display interaction,paving the way for future human–machine integration.

Prior-guided GAN-based interactive airplane engine damage image augmentation method

Deep learning-based methods have achieved remarkable success in object detection,but this success requires the availability of a large number of training *** sufficient training images is difficult in detecting damages of airplane *** augmenting images by rotation,flipping,and random cropping cannot further improve the generalization ability of existing deep *** propose an interactive augmentation method for airplane engine damage images using a prior-guided GAN to augment training *** method can generate many types of damages on arbitrary image regions according to the strokes of *** proposed model consists of a prior network and a *** Prior network generates a shape prior vector,which is used to encode the information of user *** GAN takes the shape prior vector and random noise vectors to generate candidate *** damages are pasted on the given positions of background images with an improved Poisson *** compare the proposed method with traditional data augmentation methods by training airplane engine damage detectors with state-ofthe-art object detectors,namely,Mask R-CNN,SSD,and YOLO *** results show that training with images generated by our proposed data augmentation method achieves a better detection performance than that by traditional data augmentation methods.

Time analysis of regional structure of large-scale particle using an interactive visual system

N-body numerical simulation is an important tool in *** used this method to simulate the formation of structure of the universe,which is key to understanding how the universe *** research on this subject further develops,astronomers require a more precise method that enables expansion of the simulation and an increase in the number of simulation ***,retaining all temporal information is infeasible due to a lack of computer *** the circumstances,astronomers reserve temporal data at intervals,merging rough and baffling animations of universal *** this study,we propose a deep-learning-assisted interpolation application to analyze the structure formation of the ***,we evaluate the feasibility of applying interpolation to generate an animation of the universal evolution through an ***,we demonstrate the superiority of deep convolutional neural network(DCNN)method by comparing its quality and performance with the actual results together with the results generated by other popular interpolation *** addition,we present PRSVis,an interactive visual analytics system that supports global volume rendering,local area magnification,and temporal animation *** allows users to visualize a global volume rendering,interactively select one cubic region from the rendering and intelligently produce a time-series animation of the high-resolution region using the deep-learning-assisted *** summary,we propose an interactive visual system,integrated with the DCNN interpolation method that is validated through experiments,to help scientists easily understand the evolution of the particle region structure.

Methods from supervised machine learning allow the classification of new data automatically and are tremendously helpful for data *** quality of supervised maching learning depends not only on the type of algorithm used,but also on the quality of the labelled dataset used to train the *** instances in a training dataset is often done manually relying on selections and annotations by expert analysts,and is often a tedious and time-consuming *** learning algorithms can automatically determine a subset of data instances for which labels would provide useful input to the learning *** visual labelling techniques are a promising alternative,providing effective visual overviews from which an analyst can simultaneously explore data records and select items to a *** putting the analyst in the loop,higher accuracy can be achieved in the resulting *** initial results of interactive visual labelling techniques are promising in the sense that user labelling can improve supervised learning,many aspects of these techniques are still largely *** paper presents a study conducted using the mVis tool to compare three interactive visualisations,similarity map,scatterplot matrix(SPLOM),and parallel coordinates,with each other and with active learning for the purpose of labelling a multivariate *** results show that all three interactive visual labelling techniques surpass active learning algorithms in terms of classifier accuracy,and that users subjectively prefer the similarity map over SPLOM and parallel coordinates for *** also employ different labelling strategies depending on the visualisation used.

interactive effect of minerals on complex ore flotation: A brief review

Froth flotation is the most effective industrial method used to separate fine-grained minerals. The main problem of complex ore flotation is the negative effect of interactions among minerals in slurry, leading to variation in surface properties during separation. In this review,studies on the interactive effect among minerals on the flotation of iron ores, magnesite ores, and scheelite ores are summarized, and the main problems and mechanisms that diminish the separation efficiency of minerals are revealed in detail. Recent research progress on the flotation of these ores has confirmed that mineral aggregation, coating, and dissolution, as well as other factors caused by interacting behavior, explain the depressing effects of fine particles on mineral separation. Solvable methods for these effects are further discussed. Novel flotation processes and more selective reagents are critical for further investigations on various approaches to improve the beneficiation efficiency of these *** review aims to provide a good reference for conducting studies related to complex ore flotation.

interactive display devices integrating multiple functions have become a development trend of display *** excellent luminescence properties of perovskite quantum dots(PQDs)make it an ideal luminescent material for the next generation of wide-color gamut *** we design and fabricate dual-function light-sensing/displaying light-emitting devices based on *** devices can display information as an output port,and simultaneously sense outside light signals as an input port and modulate the display information in a non-contact *** dual functions were attributed to the device designs:(1)the hole transport layer in the devices also acts as the light-sensing layer to absorb outside light signals;(2)the introduced hole trapping layer interface can trap holes originating from the light-sensing layer,and thus tune the charge transport properties and the light-emitting *** sensing and display behavior of the device can be further modulated by light signals with different time and space *** fusion of sensing and display functions has broad prospects in non-contact interactive screens and communication ports.

MCC: A Message and Command Correlation Method for Identifying New interactive Protocols via Session Analyses

Traffic classification is critical to effective network management. However, more and more pro- prietary, encrypted, and dynamic protocols make traditional traffic classification methods less effective. A Message and Command Correlation （MCC） method was developed to identify interactive protocols （such as P2P file sharing protocols and Instant Messaging （IM） protocols） by session analyses. Unlike traditional packet-based classification approaches, this method exploits application session information by clustering packets into application messages which are used for further classification. The efficacy and accuracy of the MCC method was evaluated with real world traffic, including P2P file sharing protocols Thunder and Bit- Torrent, and IM protocols QQ and GTalk. The tests show that the false positive rate is less than 3% and the false negative rate is below 8%, and that MCC only needs to check 8.7% of the packets or 0.9% of the traffic. Therefore, this approach has great potential for accurately and quickly discovering new types of interactive application protocols.
