Network externalities have a major impact on the innovation diffusion. The innovation diffusion influenced by the network externalities has a late take-off phenomenon and critical mass problem, that is to say, the diffusion in the initial stage is very slow, and when it reached critical mass, it surges. As a result, it’s not sure whether the overall effect of network externalities on innovation diffusion is positive or negative. It depends on the heterogeneity of the potential adopters’ threshold distribution. When the heterogeneity of the threshold distribution is low, the overall effect of network externalities on innovation diffusion is negative, and when the heterogeneity is high, the effect is positive.

The diffusion of municipal wastewater treatment technology is vital for urban environment in developing countries. China has built more than 3000 municipal wastewater treatment plants in the past three decades, which is a good chance to understand how technologies diffused in reality. We used a data-driven approach to explore the relationship between the diffusion of wastewater treatment technologies and collaborations between organizations. A database of 3136 municipal wastewater treatment plants and 4634 collaborating organizations was built and transformed into networks for analysis. We have found that： 1）.the diffusion. networks are assortative, arid the .pattems of diffusion vary across technologies; while the collaboration networks are fragmented, and have an assortativity around zero since the 2000s. 2） Important projects in technology diffusion usually involve central organizations in collaboration networks, but organizations become more central in collaboration by doing circumstantial projects in diffusion. 3）The importance of projects in diffusion can be predicted with a Random Forest-model at a good accuracy and precision level. Our findings provide a quantitative understanding of the technology diffusion processes, which could be used for waterrelevant policy-making and business decisions.

Cloud manufacturing is a specific implementation form of the "Internet + manufacturing" strategy. Why and how to develop cloud manufacturing platform(CMP), however, remains the key concern of both platform operators and users. A microscopic model is proposed to investigate advantages and diffusion forces of CMP through exploration of its diffusion process and mechanism. Specifically, a three-stage basic evolution process of CMP is innovatively proposed. Then, based on this basic process, a more complex CMP evolution model has been established in virtue of complex network theory, with five diffusion forces identified. Thereafter, simulations on CMP diffusion have been conducted. The results indicate that, CMP possesses better resource utilization,user satisfaction, and enterprise utility. Results of simulation on impacts of different diffusion forces show that both the time required for CMP to reach an equilibrium state and the final network size are affected simultaneously by the five diffusion forces. All these analyses indicate that CMP could create an open online cooperation environment and turns out to be an effective implementation of the "Internet + manufacturing" strategy.

We introduce a new method for visualizing and analyzing information landscapes of ideas and events posted on public web pages through customized web-search engines and *** research integrates GIScience and web-search engines to track and analyze public web pages and their web contents with associated spatial *** pages searched by clusters of keywords were mapped with real-world coordinates(by geolocating their Internet Protocol addresses).The resulting maps represent web information landscapes consisting of hundreds of populated web pages searched by selected *** creating a Spatial Web Automatic Reasoning and Mapping System prototype,researchers can visualize the spread of web pages associated with specific keywords,concepts,ideas,or news over time and *** maps may reveal important spatial relationships and spatial context associated with selected *** approach may provide a new research direction for geographers to study the diffusion of human thought and ideas.A better understanding of the spatial and temporal dynamics of the‘collective thinking of human beings’over the Internet may help us understand various innovation diffusion processes,human behaviors,and social movements around the world.

innovation, which involves technological transformation and management reorganization, brings about significant changes in modern society. In this paper, to investigate how innovations can be promoted, we propose a game-based model to study the co-evolutionary dynamics of human innovative behaviors. A simulation on scale-free networks is conducted, in which the innovative behavior of each node is determined and updated based on the feedback regarding its innovation, namely the diffusion of the innovation status. Numerical simulations of the model generate a series of patterns, which is consistent with people＇s daily experiences and perceptions as regards real-world innovative behaviors. Specifically, various scaling spatiotemporal properties and rich structural impacts on dynamics can be observed. This model provides a novel approach to understand the evolution of innovative behaviors and provides insight for strategy studies of innovation promotion.

In this paper,a new Economic Order Quantity(EOQ)model for a successive generation of technology products has been *** classical EOQ model is based on the assumption that the demand rate is *** it cannot be used for technology products where competition-substitution among products is a usual *** address this problem,the EOQ model proposed in this article is considered a demand model for a technology product that follows the innovation-diffusion process.A numerical example has been illustrated and a comprehensive sensitivity analysis is conducted to understand the path of the optimal planning horizon and optimal costs under varied innovation and imitation *** sensitivity analysis of the introduction timing of the second generation has been performed to know the applicability of the model in actual *** behavior of the model has been discussed in detail in the numerical illustration section.

One of the major concerns for the technology market is the demand volatility andits impact on inventory policies. Demand volatility in the technology sector mayarise due to many factors namely customer choices, competition, growingmarket size, and so on. Often companies use rented warehouses to absorb anyfluctuations in demand. Unfortunately, warehouse and inventory researchesignore the phenomenon of growing market size to formulate policy decisions. Inthis paper, we proposed a two-warehouse inventory model with deterioration fortechnology products with linearly increasing market size where demand followsinnovation diffusion criterion. The model is based on the assumption that theholding costs in the rented warehouse are more than the own warehouse. Asimple solution procedure also discussed to solve nonlinear cost *** example and sensitivity analysis are also used to describe the utilityof the model.

韩国大学中的服务学习具有课程创新、服务扩散、资源整合、行动改善等多方面的意义，韩国大学将服务学习作为实现大学的社会责任，增强高等教育机构的道德意识，实践共享社区发展战略的方法之一。韩国在服务学习中既接受西方的服务学习概念，又在服务学习模式和内容上有所创新。政府、大学和社会组织共同推动，不仅将服务学习纳入大学课程体系中，还不断发展本土化的政策、组织和行动模式。基于社区的服务学习，可通过有计划的项目干预解决社区问题、帮助学习者自我发展，提高教育质量并最终为社会发展做出贡献。基于Rogers的创新理论，韩国大学服务学习的创新传播扩散路径分为五个部分，细化了服务学习的过程。通过对韩国大学服务学习的研究，本文最后提出了韩国模式对我国高校服务学习的启示。
