This cross-sectional study recruited consecutively 347 patients (178 males,169 females) aged 19 to 30 years with a diagnosis of MDD according to Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders,Fifth Edition (DSM-V) criteria who underwent in-person interviews,the mini international neuropsychiatric interview,and physical examinations by experienced psychiatrists at Division of Neuropsychiatry,Department of Neurology,Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University (Beijing,China) between August 20,2015,and December 28,*** patients were excluded with anemia,thyroid dysfunction,mental retardation,neurologic conditions,bipolar disorders,schizophrenia,and other mental *** symptoms were assessed with the Hamilton rating scale for depression (HAMD-17) by three experienced psychological testing technicians who were blinded to all subjects' birth delivery types at the Neuropsychological Center of Department of Neurology of Xuanwu *** study was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and was approved by the Ethics Committee of Xuanwu *** a retrospective study and data analysis were performed anonymously,this study was exempt from the informed consent from patients.

Screening for pancreatic cancer in familial high-risk individuals: A systematic review

AIM:To analyze the benefits and harms of pancreatic cancer screening in familial high-risk individuals(HRIs).METHODS:Studies were identified by searching PubMed,EBSCO,*** and the Cochrane database from database inception to June *** also obtained papers from the reference lists of pertinent studies and systematic *** trials and observational studies were *** key words used as search terms were "screening" and "surveillance".Cost-effectiveness,diagnostic rate,survival rate,mortality and adverse events were the outcomes of ***,sex,lifestyle and other confounding factors were also ***,anticipating only a few of these studies,we also included observational studies with or without control *** also included studies concerning the anxiety associated with pancreatic cancer risk and other psychological changes in familial *** extracted details on study design,objectives,population characteristics,inclusion criteria,year of enrollment,method of screening,adjusted and unadjusted mortality,cost-effectiveness and adverse events from the included *** were assessed using the Reporting of Observational studies in Epidemiology(STROBE) ***:Sixteen studies on pancreatic cancer screening were *** studies included control groups,nine were observational studies without control groups,and the other two studies investigated the worry associated with pancreatic cancer *** found that pancreatic cancer screening resulted in a high curative resection rate(60%vs 25%,P = 0.011),longer median survival time(14.5 mo vs 4 mo,P < 0.001),and higher 3-year survival rate(20%vs 15.0%,P =0.624).We also found that familial HRIs had a higher diagnostic rate of pancreatic tumors than controls(34%vs 7.2%,P< 0.001).In patients who underwent regular physical examinations,more stage I pancreatic cancers were observed(19%vs 2.6%,P= 0.001).In addition,endoscopic ultrasonography,which was the ma

Methods and outcomes of screening for pancreatic adenocarcinoma in high-risk individuals

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC) is a lethal neoplasia, for which secondary prevention(i.e., screening) is advisable for high-risk individuals with "familiar pancreatic cancer" and with other specific genetic syndromes(Peutz-Jeghers, p16, BRCA2, PALB and mismatch repair gene mutation carriers). There is limited evidence regarding the accuracy of screening tests, their acceptability, costs and availability, and agreement on whom to treat. Successful target of screening are small resectable PDAC, intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms with high-grade dysplasia and advanced pancreatic intraepithelial neoplasia. Both magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) and endoscopic ultrasound(EUS) are employed for screening, and the overall yield for pre-malignant or malignant pancreatic lesions is of about 20% with EUS and 14% with MRI/magnetic resonance colangiopancreatography. EUS performs better for solid and MRI for cystic lesions. However, only 2% of these detected lesions can be considered a successful target, and there are insufficient data demonstrating that resection of benign or low grade lesions improves survival. Many patients in the published studies therefore seemed to have received an overtreatment by undergoing surgery. It is crucial to better stratify the risk of malignancy individually, and to better define optimal screening intervals and methods either with computerized tools or molecular biomarkers, possibly in large multicentre studies. At the moment, screening should be carefully performed within research protocols at experienced centres, offering involved individuals medical and psychological advice.

Way of Breaking Links in the Evolution of Cooperation

We investigate how the way of breaking links and establishing links impacts cooperation by comparing four coevolutionary rules. In the rules, a player chooses to break an existing link according to his environment, and the establishment of a new link depends on the environment of the potential neighbor. It is found that the way of breaking links plays a key role in promoting cooperation. The way of establishing links has a negligible effect on cooperation, but determines the population structure. Our results may provide some insights into understanding the evolution of cooperation.

Tameness does not correlate with the learning of an appetitive association in a wild canid

Individual differe nces in cog nition have been shown to be common in some animal taxa, and recent evidenee suggests that an individual's personality can be associated with an individuads cognitive strategy. We tested whether wild bat-eared foxes Otocyon megalotis differ in a risktaking behavior (tameness) and whether this trait correlated with appetitive association learning performanee. While our result shows that individuals differed in their tameness, we found no associati on between this personality trait and learning the appetitive association. This result does not support the framework that differe nces in cog nition are associated with differe nces in personality;however, our small sample size does not allow us to assert that pers on ality can not be associated with cog nition in this system. This study highlights that measuri ng cog nition and pers on ality in wild systems presents added difficulty and that correlations found in captive animals may not be evident in their wild counterparts.

According to the latest data from cancer registration center, there are estimated to be 3,929,000 individuals newly diagnosed with cancer and 2,338,000 deaths from this disease in China in 2015 (1). Among them, colorectal cancer (CRC) with 388,000 newly diagnosed cases and 187,000 deaths, stands the third place in incidence and the fifth place in mortality. The Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology (CSCO) has organized an expert committee to write and publish the Guideline for Colorectal Cancer in 2017. And its English version has already been published in March 2019 (2). According to the latest progress, the expert committee updated the guideline to the 2019 version in this April, and the summary of the main updates are as following.

Design for a Novel Framework of Hyper-Heuristic Algorithm

A novel framework of hyper-heuristic algorithm was proposed to improve the adaption of evolutionary algorithms( EAs)in optimization. The algorithm could be changed during the evolutionary progress according to their performances. In addition,a large number of elite individuals were employed in the algorithm and the elite individuals helped algorithm achieve a better performance,while such number of elite individuals stagnated the global convergence in conventional single algorithm. The time complexity was analyzed to demonstrate the novel framework did not increase the time complexity. The simulation results indicate that the proposed framework outperforms any single algorithm that composes the framework.

On Some Basic Concepts of Genetic Algorithms as a Meta-Heuristic Method for Solving of Optimization Problems

The genetic algorithms represent a family of algorithms using some of genetic principles being present in nature, in order to solve particular computational problems. These natural principles are: inheritance, crossover, mutation, survival of the fittest, migrations and so on. The paper describes the most important aspects of a genetic algorithm as a stochastic method for solving various classes of optimization problems. It also describes the basic genetic operator selection, crossover and mutation, serving for a new generation of individuals to achieve an optimal or a good enough solution of an optimization problem being in question.

Phou Khao Khouy National Park (PKK), in the Lao People's Democratic Republic, is rich in biological diversity, particular in plant species in the density forests. Knowledge of species composition provides basic information that is essential for protection and preservation of the existing forest and for sustainable forest management. The objective of this study was to explore species composition in plant community assemblage and of plant density, diversity and abundance in different vegetation strata. The study was conducted at Tad Xai in the PKK in2012. The total sample area comprised eleven50x50m plots and hierarchical plot design was employed to sample three vegetation strata (trees, sapling, and seedlings). The measured indicators consisted of diversity, evenness and richness indices. Sixty-two families,145species and1,221individuals were recorded in the tree plots. The most abundant tree species in terms of individual number were Hydnocarpus ilicifolia, Hopea spp., and the most abundant families among trees in terms of species number were Rubiaceae and Dipterocarpaceae. Twenty-four families,33species and91individuals were recorded in the sapling plots, in which the most abundant species were Rinorea boissieui, Ailanthus triphysa and Hopea spp., and the most abundant families were Dipterocarpaceae and Myrtaceae. The seedling quadrate contained88families,153species and1,586individuals, the most abundant sapling species were Hopea spp., Hopea ferrea and Leguminosae spp., and the most abundant families among saplings were Rubiaceae, Annonaceae and Dipterocarpaceae. Diversity was extremely high at the trees and seedling levels, which showed diversity indices of2.63and2.83, respectively, but was low in sapling level (1.43). The highest trees belonged to the Dipterocarpaceae, in which the mean height of17.24m and maximum mean DBH was33.57cm.
