Construction and mechanism analysis on nanoscale thermal cloak by in-situ annealing silicon carbide film

In recent years,there is a strong interest in thermal cloaking at the nanoscale,which has been achieved by using graphene and crystalline silicon films to build the nanoscale thermal cloak according to the classical macroscopic thermal cloak *** carbide,as a representative of the third-generation semiconductor material,has splendid properties,such as the high thermal conductivity and the high wear ***,in the present study,we build a nanoscale thermal cloak based on silicon *** cloaking performance and the perturbation of the functional area to the external temperature filed are analyzed by the ratio of thermal cloaking and the response temperature,*** is demonstrated that silicon carbide can also be used to build the nanoscale thermal ***,we explore the influence of inner and outer radius on cloaking ***,the potential mechanism of the designed nanoscale thermal cloak is investigated by calculating and analyzing the phonon density of states(PDOS)and mode participation rate(MPR)within the *** find that the main reason for the decrease in the thermal conductivity of the functional area is phonon *** study extends the preparation method of nanoscale thermal cloaks and can provide a reference for the development of other nanoscale devices.

Ultra-small Co/CoO_(x) nanoparticles dispersed on N-doped carbon nanosheets for highly efficient electrocatalytic oxygen evolution reaction

In this paper,we report a facile strategy to synthesize Co-BDC-NH2 material,which is used as a precursor towards an excellent OER electrocatalyst by thermal annealing in ***-small Co/Co Oxnanoparticles were uniformly dispersed on the rhombus N-doped carbon(NC)*** electron microscopic,X-ray diffraction spectrometric,and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic analyses revealed the coexistence of metallic Co and Co oxides *** was found that Co/CoO_(x)@NC obtained at 500℃ annealing temperature exhibited the highest electrocatalytic OER activity,with 307 and375 m V overpotential to achieve 10 and 100 m A cm^(-2) current ***,thanks to the in-situ annealing process,Co/CoO_(x)@NC showed excellent catalytic stability with 97.4%current density retention after 24 h electrolysis at 1.66 V *** electrode *** investigations revealed that the ultrasmall Co/Co Oxnanoparticles distributed on N-doped carbon template contribute significantly towards OER electrocatalysis through enlarging the activity surface areas and enhancing the intrinsic electrochemical activity due to the presence of metallic Co.

Homogenization of twin-roll cast AA8079 aluminum alloy studied by in-situ TEM

AA8079 is a commonly used stock material for manufacturing thin packaging *** primary alloying elements Fe and Si can form binary and tertiary ***-situ TEM simulating homogenization annealing process of the as-cast material was used to analyze the real-time changes of the shape,type,and distribution of these *** affect the mechanical properties of the final product and susceptibility of the material to the formation of pinholes and other macroscopic *** set of as-cast samples were annealed in a regime simulating industrial treatment in combination with measurements of resistivity to validate the results of the in-situ *** results show clear temperature intervals of recovery,matrix desaturation,and phase transformations occurring in several stages:spheroidization of the original particles above 450℃,nucleation of new particles at 475℃,particles coarsening above 525℃,and an entire dissolution of the original particles above 550℃.
