The Ho/y Bibe, as the root of Western civilization, has imposed great influence in the fields far beyond religion. In this thesis, the author intended to reveal the medical Implication in the Ho/y Bib/e and its relevance to the modern medical science by exploring the biblical medical information and comparing it with the current medical theory and practice. The conclusion of the exploration is surprising yet inspiring： the Ho/y Bibe, as an ancient religious book, contains rich medical information around themes such as sexual relations, dietary guidelines, hygiene, etc., which is not at odds, but in harmony with the modern medicine.

Valuation spaces with respect to diverse Implication operators are investigated in a unified way where the Lebesgue measure is a commonly used measure, and it is proved that all the logic formulas are measurable functions with respect to popularly used Implication operations. The concept of t-(α-tautology) is introduced and rules of generalized modus ponens (MP) and hypothetic syllogism (HS) are established in the sense of semantics. The concept of truth degree of a logic formula is introduced and rules of integral MP and integral HS are proposed. Finally, a kind of pseudo-metric is introduced to the set consisting of all logic formulas by establishing a universal logical metric space, making it possible to develop a new type of approximate reasoning arise.

Objective The Dayangshu Basin located in eastern Inner Mongolia,is one of the key areas for oil and gas exploration in the periphery of Songliao Basin.So far,this basin has been poorly explored,and the basic geological research is still weak,due to the lack of high-quality paleontologic and stratigraphic data.The previous oil and gas investigations were mainly focused on the Early Cretaceous strata.However,the Late Cretaceous Nenjiang Formation in the basin also has hydrocarbon potential according to the latest research.In recent oil and gas geological survey,palynological fossils have been discovered from the Nenjiang Formation in the Dayangshu Basin,providing new evidence for biostratigraphic division and correlation.

This paper reviews the progress in climate change adaptation(CCA) policies both under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change(UNFCCC) and in major regions and countries,including the EU and its major member countries,the influential developed countries in the Asia-Pacific region,the emerging economies and the least developed countries(LDCs).The progress made in China in CCA policies is also reviewed and compared with that in other countries.Finally,good international practices are proposed for China's policy development.It is found that adaptation has been given the same priority as mitigation since the twenty-first century with regard to climate change-related actions.The topics related to adaptation in the international climate change negotiations under the UNFCCC have evolved from mechanisms for finance and technology development and transfer exclusively in the early stages to implementation of practical adaptation programs and actions.Since 2006,major developed and developing countries have frequently set forward specific CCA policies or general climate change policies involving adaptation in the form of laws,frameworks,strategies,and plans.The LDCs have also been working on National Adaptation Programmes of Action and subsequent National Adaptation Plans with the support from the financial mechanisms under the UNFCCC.Therefore,globally,it has become a common practice to develop national or regional policies to plan and guide CCA actions.China has established climate change policies involving adaptation at the national,regional,and sectorial levels since 2007.However,these policies have strong limitations in their knowledge base,strategic positioning,contents,and implementation mechanisms,e.***.lack of a sound knowledge base,an international perspective,clear responsibilities for policy implementation,and appropriate monitoring and evaluation mechanisms.It is recommended that China should further strengthen its technical capabilities in climate change projections as well as impact,vulnerabilit

Comparison of detrital mineral compositions between stream sediments of the Yangtze River (Changjiang) and the Yellow River (Huanghe) and their provenance Implication

A comparative comparative study on the detrital mineral composition of stream sediments of the Yangtze River (Changjiang) and Yellow River (Huanghe) shows that, light minerals of the Yangtze River basin were mainly quartz, feldspar, and detritus, the compositional characteristics of light minerals differed among tributaries, the main stream had a generally higher maturity index than tributaries;heavy mineral content tended to decrease progressively from the upper stream to lower stream of the Yangtze River, the primary assemblage was magnetite-hornblende-augite-garnet-epidote, and diagnostic minerals of different river basins were capable of indicating the nature and distribution of the source rock. Detrital mineral assemblages in sediments of tributaries and the main stream of the Yellow River were basically similar, Primary heavy mineral assemblage was opaque mineral-garnet-epidote-carbonate mineral and alteration mineral. Variations in the contents of garnet, opaque mineral, and hornblende mainly reflected the degree of sedimentary differentiation in suspended sediment and the hydrodynamic intensity of a drainage system. The heavy mineral differentiation index F revealed sedimentary differentiation of diagnostic detrital mineral composition due to changes in regional hydrodynamic intensity and can serve as an indicator for studying the dynamic sedimentary environment of a single-provenance river and the degree of sedimentary differentiation of its detrital minerals. Changes in detrital mineral content of the Yellow River was not completely controlled by provenance but reflected gravity sorting of the detrital mineral due to variations in the ephemeral river hydrodynamic intensity and sedimentary environment, however the index changing of Yangtze River were mainly influenced by the complex sediment sources. Therefore caution must be exercised in using the detrital mineral composition of marginal sea to determine the contribution of the Yangtze River and Yellow River.

Group company industry platform strategy is a new tool that utilizes platform thinking to realize parenting advantage so as to create an internal integration ecological circle for the group company, improve overall competitiveness and broaden horizon. In the first place, this paper discusses theoretical origin of group company industry platform strategy which originates in research on commercial field platform and then experiences three stages, namely, product platform, industry platform and platform strategy. Hydrothermal activity from a hydrothermal circulatory system is a special geological event, it is of importance to the formation of some massive sulfide deposits (hydrothermal deposits). The Authors think that Jiama polymetallic ore deposit in Gangdise tectonic zone, Tibet is a special skarn deposit i.e. a “hydrothermal\|metasomatic skarn deposit" bound up with benthonic hydrothermal circulatory system. Its important characteristics are as follows: 1 Evolution of the Gangdise island arc in studied area may be divided into three stages Middle Jurassic volcanic arc stage; Middle—Late Jurassic and Early Cretaceous inter arc sedimentary basin stage; and Eogene magmatic arc stage. The deposit is confined to the inter arc sedimentary basin. Existing data indicate that the volcanic arc provided Jiama deposit with abundant ore\|forming material; the inter arc sedimentary basin provided Jiama deposit with absolutely necessary space; the magmatic arc created reconcentration condition for the Jiama deposit.
