In this paper we consider mixed finite element methods for second order elliptic problems. In the case of the lowest order Brezzi-Douglas-Marini elements （if d = 2） or Brezzi- Douglas-Duran-Fortin elements （if d = 3） on rectangular parallelepipeds, we show that the mixed method system, by incorporating certain quadrature rules, can be written as a simple, cell-centered finite difference method. This leads to the solution of a sparse, positive semidefinite linear system for the scalar unknown. For a diagonal tensor coefficient, the sparsity pattern for the scalar unknown is a five point stencil if d = 2, and seven if d = 3. For a general tensor coefficient, it is a nine point stencil, and nineteen, respectively. Applications of the mixed method implementation as finite differences to nonisothermal multiphase, multicomponent flow in porous media are presented.

Matter-wave interferometers with spin quantum states are attractive in quantum manipulation and precision measurements. Here, five spatial interference patterns corresponding to the full spin states are observed in each run of the experiment, by the combination of the Majorana transition according to the exponential modulation of the magnetic field pulse decline curve and radio frequency coupling among multiple magnetic *** to the realization of two Majorana transitions, the interference fringe for the magnetic field insensitive state also has a higher contrast. After spatially overlapping the full magnetic sub-state interference patterns dozens of times in consecutive experimental measurements, clear fringes are still observed, indicating the great stability of the relative phases of different components. This indicates the potential to achieve an interferometer with multiple spin clocks.

The implementation of knowledge management （KM） in hospitals affects efficiency and outcomes of hospitals. However, few studies explored the implementation of KM in China. Twenty-two questions were designed concerning KM implementation status in over 50 hospitals. In order to understand the KM level and attitude to KM of the hospital＇s managers, a random sampling survey was conducted among 138 managers from 50 different scales of hospitals in 15 provinces of China. The survey showed that overall level of KM implementation in Chinese hospitals was still low and differed among different scales of hospitals （P〈0.05, or P〈0.01）. In all the hospitals investigated, 63.8% did not implement KM yet, among which 46% even had not planned for that. 49.8% of the hospitals investigated had no training program about KM ever and the main source of hospital staff to get knowledge was internet. It suggested that hospital managers should make much more efforts to get to know and understand theories on KM, so that hospital KM could be promoted more rapidly.

Tate pairings over elliptic curves are important in cryptography since they can be. used to construct efficient identity-based cryptosystems, and their implementation dominantly determines the efficiencies of the cryptosystems. In this paper, the implementation of a cryptosystem is provided based on the Tate. pairing over a supersingular elliptic curve of MOV degree 3. The implementation is primarily designed to re-use low-level codes developed in implementation of usual elliptic curve cryptosystems. The paper studies how to construct the underlying ground field and its extension to accelerate the finite field arithmetic, and presents a technique to speedup the time-consuming powering in the Tate pairing algorithm.

This study determined the issues of Planning Support System(PSS)implementation in the field of urban disaster mitigation in Japan by understanding its analytical perspective through a review of Western literature,a questionnaire survey of urban planning consultant companies,and PSS implementation for a practical project in a *** the instrum ental perspective,there was difficulty in conducting the simulationbased PSS due to the enormous simulation time *** the transfer perspective,the importance of the municipality^decision of adopting the PSS to a project,securing the budget and continuous running costs,track record of the practical project,and lack of human resource for the PSS use were *** the user perspective,the difficulty in data collection and update as well as im portance of the cooperative system/support from the developer in the initial period were ***,considering the low number of implementations,a platform may be important for the promotion of PSS *** may be also useful for the diffusion of *** is necessary for the developers to fully comm unicate the benefits of PSS *** is thought that a close cooperative system and support are required in the initial *** prom oting and understanding the benefits of PSS adoption,a guideline or manual seems to be *** is effective for ensuring the budget and providing an explanation to high-level members of the organizations about the effect of utilizing these *** the final implementation,the possibility of installation,maintenance,and operation of the PSS by the municipality was discussed.

A protocol for controlled remote implementation of a partially unknown operation on an arbitrary quantum state is proposed. In this protocol, a task can be performed using a GHZ state shared among three distant parties: Alice, Bob and the controller Charlie. This protocol is also generalized to the multi-party control system based on sharing an N-qubit GHZ state.

The number of urban vitality assessment studies is rising continuously,owing to the emergence of geographic *** current literature focuses primarily on evaluation,rather than implementation,of urban ***,a scoping review and research agenda are needed for urban vitality research to be more *** study aims to fill the research gap by exploring the content and methods of vitality assessment that can make urban vitality research more compatible with policy,planning,and design *** chose the neighborhood scale,which is the most practical initiative unit for vitality *** discovered that the gaps between the current research and practice primarily lie in the diversity of research subjects,the authenticity and comprehensiveness of vitality measurement,and the multi-domain of impact factor *** this basis,we classified the following expandable aspects:(1) multi-type,multi-dimensional,multi-temporal,and implementation-adaptive vitality evaluation;(2) methods reflecting high-quality social interactions and the perceptions of vulnerable groups;(3) how design and urban management impacts vitality;and(4) the synergistic effects of multiple indicators on ***,the research content and methodology presented in this paper can help neighborhood-scale vitality assessment to provide more meaningful insights for policy makers and practitioners.
