Remote sensing image encryption algorithm utilizing 2D Logistic memristive hyperchaotic map and SHA-512

The two-dimensional Logistic memristive hyperchaotic map(2D-LMHM)and the secure hash SHA-512 are the foundations of the unique remote sensing image encryption algorithm(RS-IEA)suggested in this research.The proposed map is formed from the improved Logistic map and the memristor,which has wide phase space and hyperchaotic range and is exceptionally excellent to be utilized in specific applications.The proposed image algorithm uses the permutation-assignment-diffusion structure.Permutation generates two position matrices in a progressive manner to achieve an efficient random exchange of pixel positions,assignment is carried through on the image pixels of the permutated image to entirely remove the original image information,strengthening the relationship between permutation and diffusion,and loop diffusion in two different directions can use subtle changes of pixels to affect the whole plane.The random key and plain-image SHA-512 hash values are used to produce an additional key,which is then utilized to figure out the permutation parameters and the initial value of a chaotic map.The experimental results with the average NPCR=99.6094%(NPCR:number of pixels change rate),average UACI=33.4638%(UACI:unified average changing intensity),100%pass rate of the targets in the test set,the average correlation coefficient is 0.00075,and the local information entropy is 7.9025,which shows that the algorithm is able to defend against a variety of illegal attacks and provide more trustworthy protection than some of the existing state-of-the-art algorithms.

This study proposes a new medical image encryption scheme based on Josephus traversing and hyper-chaotic Lorenz system.First,a chaotic sequence is generated through hyperchaotic system.This hyperchaotic sequence is used in the scrambling and diffusion stages of the algorithm.Second,in the scrambling process,the image is initially confused by Josephus scrambling,and then the image is further confused by Arnold map.Finally,generated hyperchaos sequence and exclusive OR operation is used for the image to carry on the positive and reverse diffusion to change the pixel value of the image and further hide the effective information of the image.In addition,the information of the plaintext image is used to generate keys used in the algorithm,which increases the ability of resisting plaintext attack.Experimental results and security analysis show that the scheme can effectively hide plaintext image information according to the characteristics of medical images,and is resistant to common types of attacks.In addition,this scheme performs well in the experiments of robustness,which shows that the scheme can solve the problem of image damage in telemedicine.It has a positive significance for the future research.

The neuron model has been widely employed in neural-morphic computing systems and chaotic circuits.This study aims to develop a novel circuit simulation of a three-neuron Hopfield neural network(HNN)with coupled hyperbolic memristors through the modification of a single coupling connection weight.The bistable mode of the hyperbolic memristive HNN(mHNN),characterized by the coexistence of asymmetric chaos and periodic attractors,is effectively demonstrated through the utilization of conventional nonlinear analysis techniques.These techniques include bifurcation diagrams,two-parameter maximum Lyapunov exponent plots,local attractor basins,and phase trajectory diagrams.Moreover,an encryption technique for color images is devised by leveraging the mHNN model and asymmetric structural attractors.This method demonstrates significant benefits in correlation,information entropy,and resistance to differential attacks,providing strong evidence for its effectiveness in encryption.Additionally,an improved modular circuit design method is employed to create the analog equivalent circuit of the memristive HNN.The correctness of the circuit design is confirmed through Multisim simulations,which align with numerical simulations conducted in Matlab.

images are the most important carrier of human information. Moreover, how to safely transmit digital imagesthrough public channels has become an urgent problem. In this paper, we propose a novel image encryptionalgorithm, called chaotic compressive sensing (CS) encryption (CCSE), which can not only improve the efficiencyof image transmission but also introduce the high security of the chaotic system. Specifically, the proposed CCSEcan fully leverage the advantages of the Chebyshev chaotic system and CS, enabling it to withstand various attacks,such as differential attacks, and exhibit robustness. First, we use a sparse trans-form to sparse the plaintext imageand then use theArnold transformto perturb the image pixels. After that,we elaborate aChebyshev Toeplitz chaoticsensing matrix for CCSE. By using this Toeplitz matrix, the perturbed image is compressed and sampled to reducethe transmission bandwidth and the amount of data. Finally, a bilateral diffusion operator and a chaotic encryptionoperator are used to perturb and expand the image pixels to change the pixel position and value of the compressedimage, and ultimately obtain an encrypted image. Experimental results show that our method can be resistant tovarious attacks, such as the statistical attack and noise attack, and can outperform its current competitors.

With the advent of the information security era,it is necessary to guarantee the privacy,accuracy,and dependable transfer of pictures.This study presents a new approach to the encryption and compression of color images.It is predicated on 2D compressed sensing(CS)and the hyperchaotic system.First,an optimized Arnold scrambling algorithm is applied to the initial color images to ensure strong security.Then,the processed images are con-currently encrypted and compressed using 2D CS.Among them,chaotic sequences replace traditional random measurement matrices to increase the system’s security.Third,the processed images are re-encrypted using a combination of permutation and diffusion algorithms.In addition,the 2D projected gradient with an embedding decryption(2DPG-ED)algorithm is used to reconstruct images.Compared with the traditional reconstruction algorithm,the 2DPG-ED algorithm can improve security and reduce computational complexity.Furthermore,it has better robustness.The experimental outcome and the performance analysis indicate that this algorithm can withstand malicious attacks and prove the method is effective.

A novel image encryption scheme based on parallel compressive sensing and edge detection embedding technology is proposed to improve visual security. Firstly, the plain image is sparsely represented using the discrete wavelet transform.Then, the coefficient matrix is scrambled and compressed to obtain a size-reduced image using the Fisher–Yates shuffle and parallel compressive sensing. Subsequently, to increase the security of the proposed algorithm, the compressed image is re-encrypted through permutation and diffusion to obtain a noise-like secret image. Finally, an adaptive embedding method based on edge detection for different carrier images is proposed to generate a visually meaningful cipher image. To improve the plaintext sensitivity of the algorithm, the counter mode is combined with the hash function to generate keys for chaotic systems. Additionally, an effective permutation method is designed to scramble the pixels of the compressed image in the re-encryption stage. The simulation results and analyses demonstrate that the proposed algorithm performs well in terms of visual security and decryption quality.

In this paper,we first propose a memristive chaotic system and implement it by circuit simulation.The chaotic dynamics and various attractors are analysed by using phase portrait,bifurcation diagram,and Lyapunov exponents.In particular,the system has robust chaos in a wide parameter range and the initial value space,which is favourable to the security communication application.Consequently,we further explore its application in image encryption and present a new scheme.Before image processing,the external key is protected by the Grain-128a algorithm and the initial values of the memristive system are updated with the plain image.We not only perform random pixel extraction and masking with the chaotic cipher,but also use them as control parameters for Brownian motion to obtain the permutation matrix.In addition,multiplication on the finite field GF(2^(8))is added to further enhance the cryptography.Finally,the simulation results verify that the proposed image encryption scheme has better performance and higher security,which can effectively resist various attacks.

In the current scenario,data transmission over the network is a challenging task as there is a need for protecting sensitive data.Traditional encryption schemes are less sensitive and less complex thus prone to attacks during transmission.It has been observed that an encryption scheme using chaotic theory is more promising due to its non-linear and unpredictable behavior.Hence,proposed a novel hybrid image encryption scheme with multi-scroll attractors and quantum chaos logistic maps(MSA-QCLM).The image data is classified as inter-bits and intra-bits which are permutated separately using multi scroll attractor&quantum logistic maps to generate random keys.To increase the encryption efficiency,a hybrid chaotic technique was performed.Experimentation is performed in a Qiskit simulation tool for various image sets.The simulation results and theoretical analysis show that the proposed method is more efficient than its classical counterpart,and its security is verified by the statistical analysis,keys sensitivity,and keyspace analysis.The Number of changing pixel rate(NPCR)&the Unified averaged changed intensity(UACI)values were observed to be 99.6%&33.4%respectively.Also,entropy oscillates from 7.9 to 7.901 for the different tested encrypted images.The proposed algorithm can resist brute force attacks well,owing to the values of information entropy near the theoretical value of 8.The proposed algorithm has also passed the NIST test(Frequency Monobit test,Run test and DFT test).

In this study,a new algorithm of fractional beta chaotic maps is proposed to generate chaotic sequences for image encryption.The proposed technique generates multi random sequences by shuffling the image pixel position.This technique is used to blur the pixels connecting the input and encrypted images and to increase the attack resistance.The proposed algorithm makes the encryption process sophisticated by using fractional chaotic maps,which hold the properties of pseudo-randomness.The fractional beta sequences are utilized to alter the image pixels to decryption attacks.The experimental results proved that the proposed image encryption algorithm successfully encrypted and decrypted the images with the same keys.The output findings indicate that our proposed algorithm has good entropy and low correlation coefficients.This translates to enhanced security against different attacks.A MATLAB programming tool was used to implement and assess the image quality measures.A comparison with other image encryption techniques regarding the visual inspection and signal-to-noise ratio is provided.
