Influence of metallurgical processing parameters on defects in cold-rolled steel sheet caused by inclusions

The cleanliness and defects for cold-rolled steel sheet caused by inclusions are greatly influenced by parameters in the metallurgical processing. Good control of parameters during the processing can lead to a better product. In this paper, data mining was used to explore the influence of parameters on defects in steel sheets. A decision tree model was established and it was found that the oxygen content before deoxidation, the end-point temperature of the converter, and the temperature before deoxidation had a great impact on the defects in the cold-rolled sheet that were caused by inclusions. This finding was confirmed by experiments with infrared absorption, scanning electron microscopy(SEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS), and automatic inclusion analysis methods. After optimization according to results from the model and experiments, the defect rate caused by the inclusions was reduced from 0.92% to 0.38%.

Interface Properties of InAs／AlSb Superlattices Characterized by Grazing Incidence X-Ray Reflectivity

Two kinds of superlattice interfaces of InAs/AlSb superlattices are realized in an optimized interface growth process, where one is AlAs-like and the other is InSb-like grown on a relaxed AlSb buffer layer. The superlattice properties such as interface roughness and layer thickness are studied by grazing incidence x-ray reflectivity. The reflectivity curves are simulated by standard software till the simulation curves match well with the experimental curves. The simulation indicates that AlAs-like interfaces are much rougher than InSb-like interfaces. Grazing incidence x-ray reflectivity is also discussed as a powerful tool to assessing the structure properties of superlattices.

The standard interfaces between SCF,SSF,SRF and SDF in Intelligent Network Appli-cation Protocol(INAP)have been recommended by ITU-T.However,there are some gaps inthe INAP for IN system implementation.In addition,Chinese telecommunication networkhas its special situation.In order to implement intelligent network in China,we defined ourown INAP standard based on the Chinese network aspect.In this paper we present our rec-ommendation for a Chinese version of INAP.The basis of design and the implementation ofINAP are also described.

通过透射电镜观察了 if钢在铁素体区轧制时开轧温度、压下量、润滑条件等工艺参数对析出物的形貌、大小、分布和数量方面的影响。结果表明 :不同轧制工艺下的析出物基本上都是由 Ti N、 Ti S、 Ti4 C2 S2 和 Ti C组成 ,并且随着开轧温度的升高 ,析出物的总体平均尺寸减小 ,较小尺寸的 Ti4 C2 S2 粒子数量增多 ,而 Ti (C、 N)粒子数量减少。

A parallel imaginary EBE (element-by-element )method for solving positive definite linear systems is presented. The EBE strategy is originally used as a sequential method[1.2], and later it is converted to a parallelmethod for solving finite element problem in solid mechanics[3]. The main contribution of this paper is to forma general parallel EBE method for the solution of anyPOsitive definite linear system through a so-called imaginary finite element technique. It is then POssible to use.finite elemental without finite element.

This paper presents a different approach of Intermediate Frequency (if) amplifier using 0.18 μm MIETEC technology channel length of MOSFET Darlington transistors. In contrast to Bipolar conventional Darlingtonpair, a MOSFET Darlington configuration is employed to reduce supply voltage (VDD) and DC consumption power (Pc). The frequency response parameters of the proposed design such as bandwidth, gain bandwidth product, input/output noises and noise figure (NF) are improved in proposed (if) amplifier. Moreover, a dual-input and dual-output (DIDO) if amplifier constructed from two symmetrical single input and single output (SISO) (if) amplifier is proposed too. The idea is to achieve improved bandwidth, and flat response, because these parameters are very important in high frequency applications. Simulation results that obtained by P-SPICE program are 1.2 GHz Bandwidth (BW), 3.4 GHz (gain bandwidth product), 0.5 mW DC consumption power (Pc) and the low total output noise is 12 nV with 1.2 V single supply voltage.

Inhomogeneous Hardness Distribution of High Pressure Torsion Processed if Steel Disks

The inhomogeneous hardness distribution of high pressure torsion (HPT) processed if steel disks along different directions is investigated. The results indicated that there exists inhomogeneous distribution in HPT processed if steel disks, giving lower hardness in the center and higher hardness in the edge regions. However, on the axisymmetrical section testing plane of the disks’ thickness direction, there is a soft zone near the surface of disks. Further results from radius testing plane of different depths from the surface of HPT processed disks show that the inhomogeneity rules of hardness distribution on the radius direction are similar to that on the thickness direction. Compared with the initial state, different stages of HPT (compression and compression + torsion) can both remarkably increase the hardness of if steel disks. Microstructure investigation results can give a well support to verify the rules of hardness distribution, showing hardly no change of grains in center and sever plastic deformation in edge. The inhomogeneous distribution of stress and strain with the huge friction between anvil and disks in the process of HPT play an important role of hardness and microstructure distribution.
