Serum metrix metalloproteinase-9 combined with homocysteine, IL-6, TNF-α, CRP, HbA11c and lipid profile in the incipient diabetic nephropathy with or without macrovascular diseases

Objective ： To evaluate the changes of serum matrix metalloproteinase-9 （romp-9） in patients of incipient diabetic nephropathy with or without macrovascular disease and to analyze the factors associated with homocysteine（hcy）, interleukin-6（IL-6）, tumor necrosis factor-alpha （TNF-α）, highly sensitive C-reactive protein （hsCRP）, HbAlc and lipid profile in those patients in order to know whether this marker or other factors are more important to induce diabetic macrovascular disease. Methods： Type 2 diabetes mellitus（T2DM） subjects with incipient diabetic nephropathy with or without macrovascular disease were selected for participation and divided into 2 groups. The patients in group 1 （n= 38） used insulin, and patients in group 2 （n=34） were treated with an oral antidiabetic drug. Then serum mmp-9, hey, IL-6 and TNF-α in these patients were measured, and compared to the healthy subjects as control （n= 16）. The results were analyzed by SPSS13. Results： Serum romp-9 and hcy of the patients having incipient diabetic nephropathy with macrovascular disease were higher than that of patients without macrovascular disease （P〈0.01）. For insulin-injected patients, whether they accompanied with macrovascular diseases or not, the serum levels of romp-9, hcy, IL-6 and TNF-α were all lower, but no significant statistics compared with non-insulin used patients or the healthy subjects. The serum level of romp-9 was more correlated with the serum hcy in antidiabetic drug used patients. （P〈0. 000） Conclusion： The serum level of romp-9 plays an important role of pathogenesis in the macrovascular disease in the incipient diabetic patients, and the serum level of hcy also can reflect the severely degree of macrovascular disease in these patients, insulin can reduce these markers.

Observation on clinical therapeutic efficacy of moxibustion combined with mecobalamin on diabetic perineuropathy and effects on patients' blood homocysteine

Objective To observe the therapeutic efficacy of moxibustion combined with mecobalamin on diabetic perineuropathy and the effects on blood homocysteine in pa ents with diabe c perineuropathy. Methods One hundred and fifty patients with diabetic perineuropathy meeting with the inclusive criteria were randomized into a moxibus on group,a mecobalamin group and a therapeutic alliance group by using random digits table. Moxibustion was carried out on Tàixī（太溪 KI 3）,Sānyīnjiāo（三阴交 SP 6）,Zúsānl？（足三里 ST 36）,Hég？（合谷 LI 4） and Qūchí（曲池 LI 11） for the patients in the moxibustion group,the treatments were carried out once every other day,treatments for ten mes were considered as a treatment course,and totally three treatment courses were carried out. The pa ents in the mecobalamin group were orally administered with mecobalamin tablet 500 μg once,three times a day,20 days were considered as a treatment course,and totally three treatment courses were carried out. Moxibustion was carried out on the basis of oral administration with mecobalamin tablet in the therapeutic alliance group. The clinical symptoms,nerve conductive velocities and changes in blood homocysteine were observed before and after the treatments in the three groups. Results The total eff ec ve rate in the moxibus on group was 74.0%（37/50）,82.0%（41/50） in the mecobalamin group,94.0%（47/50） in the therapeutic alliance group,and the total effective rate in the therapeutic alliance group was significantly be er than the other two groups（P0.01）. The nerve conductive velocities in the mecobalamin group and the therapeutic alliance group after the treatments were significantly increased and the blood homocysteine level decreased in comparison to those before the treatments（P0.01）,while the nerve conductive velocity increased and the blood homocysteine level decreased in the therapeutic alliance group after the treatments in comparison to those in the other two groups（P0.01）. Background:To investigate the relationship between the level of plasma homocysteine(Hcy)and carotid artery plaques in patients with acute cerebral infarction(ACI).Methods:100 patients with ACI were collected in the affiliated hospital of Hainan Medical College from January 2012 to January *** them 50 patients of with hyperhomocysteine(HHcy)were chosed for observe group,and 50 patients with normal homocysteine were chosed for control *** artery plaques in all patients were examined by CT angiography(CTA)and the level of serum Hcy were detected by enzymatic cycling ***:Compared with the control group we found that the increased plasma Hcy level of the observe group was significantly associated with the number of plaque,the type of plaque as well as the smooth of plaque ***:HHcy has the close correlation with the characterastic of carotid artery plaques,and the evaluation on the level of plasma Hcy may have the significant meaning during the prevention and early diagnosis of cerebral infarction.

OBJECTIVE Compound FLZ is a novel synthetic squamosamide cyclic analogue with several phenolichydroxy *** researches have demonstrated that FLZ exhibits strong anti-oxidative and neuroprotective activities in AD and PD models. Hyperhomocysteinemia(HHcy) is believed to induce endothelial dysfunction,which is an independent risk factor for atherosclerosis and vascular *** study was designed to examine whether FLZ has protective effect against HHcy-induced primary cultured rat brain microvascular endothelial cells(rBMEC) *** Cell survival was measured by MTT *** nuclei were observed by Hochest 33342 *** cells were detected by senescence associatedβ-galactosidase(SA-β-gal) staining. ROS was measured by DCF fluorescent *** NO production and NOS activity were measured by biochemical *** -induced expression of NF-κB,p53,Noxa and Fas,the release of mitochondrial cytochrome c were measured by Western blot analysis. RESULTS In this study,we found that FLZ(0.1-10μmol·L) may antagonize homocysteine(1 mmol·L) induced cell death(88%when FLZ was 10μmol·L vs.55%for Hcy,P<0.001) and apoptosis,senescent cells increase,which were correlated with the decrease of ROS accumulation,NO production and NOS *** blotting analyses showed FLZ could inhibit the activation of NF-κB,upregulation of p53,Noxa and *** of FLZ also blocked mitochondrial cytochrome c ***- CLUSION These findings suggest that FLZ has protective action against HHcy-induced toxicity in rBMECs,which may have implications FLZ may have therapeutic potential for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases.

Objective To Study the relationship of plasma homocysteine(Hcy),folic acid and VitBwith Coronary artery disease(CAD)and effects of interventional therapy of folio acid to the patients withhyperhomocysteinemia..Method The plasma Hey levels of 97 cases with CAD and 58 cases withSub-CAD and 31 Subjects widhout CAD were measured by using high-performance liquidchromatography(HPLC)with fluorescence detection,Plasma folic acid and VitB levels were measuredwith radioassay *** patientc with hyperhomocysteinemia were treated with 5mg of folic acid for 8weeks,then rechecked plasma Hcy,folic acid and VitB 4th and 8th week after the *** plasma Hcy level was significantly higher in the CAD and sub-CAD patients than in the controls[(21.6±9.4)μmol/L,(13.7±5.1)μmol/L vs(10.3±5)μmol/L].The plasma folic acid and VitB were significantly lower in the CAD patients than in the *** Hcy level in the triple-vessel group withthat in the single-vessel group[(29.1±7.8)μmol/L,(21.4±6.2)μmol/L vs(14.3±5.4)μmol/L],The Hcilevel in 61 patients with CAD and sub-CAD was significantly reduced by 12.5%(4th week) and 38.5%(8thweek ) after 8-week folic acid adminstration. Conclusion Hcy level is elevated in patiends with CAD andSub-CAD. Hyperhomocysteinemia plays an important role in the pathogenesis of CAD. Folic acid canreduce plasma Hcy level of CAD and Sub-CAD patients with hyperhomocysteinemia.

Coronary heart disease(CHD) is responsible for 50% of all mortality in developed ***,homocysteine is a risk factor for ***,the aim of this study is to develop an enzymeless,simple,low-cost and reliable homocysteine biomedical sensor(HBS) for the precise determination of *** HBS is a bowl cell consisted of 4 silver *** working principle is based on the impedance measurement of homocysteine *** HBS on the detection of homocysteine at a specific frequency ranges(29.65-212.25 Hz) shows an excellent linear(r2≥0.95) response range(0-100μM),which covers the normal physiological and pathological ranges of plasma homocysteine *** correlation coefficient showed that all measurements had excellent reliability and validity(ICC=1.00).The HBS also showed excellent long-term stability(99% of its initial value of current response after 6 months of storage).In conclusion,an enzymeless,simple,low-cost and reliable HBS was *** is able to precisely determine homocysteine concentrations in both the normal physiological and pathological ranges.

＜正＞Background ＆ objective:High plasma homocysteine（Hcy） levels are associated with coronary artery disease,but the precise level associated with an increased risk is yet *** the beneficial effects of folic acid on arterial endothelial function persist over longer periods is not *** study aimed to assess whether folic acid supplementation could produce improvements in Hcy levels and arterial endothelial function in the patients with unstable angina（UA） and ***:The plasma Hcy levels of 52 cases with UA and 30 age and sex-matched control subjects were measured by using high-performance liquid chromatography（HPLC） with fluorescence detection,plasma folic acid and VitB12 levels were measured with *** patients with hyperhomocysteinemia were treated with 5mg of folic acid for 8 weeks,and then rechecked the plasma levels of Hcy,folic acid and VitB 12 at the end of 4th and 8th *** endothelial function was measured as flow-mediated dilation of the brachial artery using high-resolution B-mode ultrasound in 22 cases with UA and hyperhomocysteinemia. Results:The plasma Hcy level was significant higher in the patients with UA than in the controls [（19.2±4.9）μmol/L vs（10.7±5.3）μmol/L,P＜0.01].The plasma levels of folic acid and VitB12 were significant lower in the patients with UA than in the controls[（7.0±2.5）μg/L and（586.7±164.5） ng/L vs （5.1±2.0）μg/L and（471.6±135.4） ng/L,all P＜0.05].There are 42.3%of the patients with hyperhomocysteinemia in UA *** 4 and 8 weeks of administration of folic acid,the Hcy level reduced by 20.3%and 55.3%in the UA patients with hyperhomocysteinemia,***-mediated dilation also improved significantly,from 6.4%±1.9%to 9.0%±1.2%（P＜0.05） after 8-week treatment with folic ***:Hcy level is elevated in patients with *** acid can reduce the plasma Hcy levels and improve arterial endothelial function in the UA patients with hyperhomocysteinemia.
