helicobacter pylori(***)infection remains the leading cause of gastric adenocarcinoma,and its eradication primarily relies on the prolonged and intensive use of two ***,antibiotic resistance has become a compelling health issue,leading to *** eradication treatment failure ***,the powerlessness of antibiotics against biofilms,as well as intracellular *** and the long-term damage of antibiotics to the intestinal microbiota,have also created an urgent demand for antibiotic-free ***,we describe an antibiotic-free,multifunctional copperorganic framework(HKUST-1)platform encased in a lipid layer comprising phosphatidic acid(PA),rhamnolipid(RHL),and cholesterol(CHOL),enveloped in chitosan(CS),and loaded in an ascorbyl palmitate(AP)hydrogel:AP@CS@Lip@*** platform targets inflammatory sites where *** aggregates through electrostatic ***,hydrolysis by matrix metalloproteinases(MMPs)releases CS-encased nanoparticles,disrupting bacterial urease activity and membrane ***,RHL disperses biofilms,while PA promotes lysosomal acidification and activates host autophagy,enabling clearance of intracellular ***,AP@CS@Lip@HKUST-1 alleviates inflammation and enhances mucosal repair through delayed Cu^(2+) release while preserving the intestinal ***,this platform presents an advanced therapeutic strategy for eradicating persistent *** infection without inducing drug resistance.

Association between central serous chorioretinopathy and helicobacter pylori infection: a systematic review and Meta-analysis

AIM:To investigate the association between central serous chorioretinopathy(CSC)and helicobacter pylori(Hp)by summarizing all available ***:The Scopus,Embase,EBSCO,PubMed,Web of Science,and Cochrane Library databases for all relevant studies published from inception to October 2022 were searched,and manually searched for relevant reference lists as a *** investigating the association between CSC and Hp infection were ***,8 case-control studies were included in the Meta-analysis after study ***:The results showed no significant correlation between Hp infection and CSC[odds ratio(OR)1.89,95%confidential interval(CI)0.58–6.15,I2=96%,P=0.29].After subgroup analysis based on the degree of development of the study(developing/developed countries),it was found that the results of the two subgroups were the same as the whole,and no significant difference between the two subgroups ***-regression showed that the effect of sample size on heterogeneity among studies was more prominent(Pinfection and CSC,which still warrants further well-designed extensive sample studies to reach a more reliable conclusion and promote a better understanding of the treatment of CSC.

Estimate the Prevalence of helicobacter pylori infection among Diabetes & Non-Diabetes Mellitus Patients and Its Correlation with Malignant Gastritis Patients Attending in Lower Shabelle Region (Somalia)

Background: Several conducted studies have reported a higher and more frequent helicobacter pylori infection rate in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). The aim of this study was to estimation the prevalence of H. pylori and its association between H. pylori infection and T2DM. Materials and Methods: A sectional-cross study was conducted based on 200 patients studded with socioeconomic characteristics through a questionnaire & H. pylori was diagnosed by serum anti-H. pylori immunoglobulin G (IgG) and IgA. Furthermore, patients were investigated for fasting blood glucose (FBG) levels, glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c), serum cholesterol, and other biochemistry parameters. Results: The findings showed The prevalence of Hp positive infection was significantly higher in the total sample was 134 with (67%). While 66 out of 200 patients with (33%) was H. pylori negative infection. of H. pylori. Further, the mean values were statistically significant for diabetes with H. pylori infection for IgG > 300 titer and IgA > 250 titer, regarding, HbA1C (7.52 ± 0.41) (P Conclusions: The current study revealed that H. pylori prevalence infections were significantly higher in diabetic patients studied compared to non-diabetic patients. Furthermore, T2DM patients infected with H. pylori positive reported a higher prevalence rate of symptoms than H. pylori negative.

Evaluation of helicobacter pylori infection in Patients with Chronic Hepatic Disease

Background： The ^13C urea breath test （^13C-UBT） is the gold standard for detecting helicobacterpylori infection. H. pylori pathogenesis in patients with hepatitis B virus （HBV） and related diseases remains obscure. We used ^13C-UBT to detect H. *** infection in patients with chronic HBV infection, HBV-related cirrhosis, HBV-related hepatic carcinoma, and other chronic hepatic diseases. Methods： A total of 131 patients with chronic hepatitis B （HB）, 179 with HBV-related cirrhosis, 103 with HBV-related hepatic carcinoma, 45 with HBV-negative hepatic carcinoma, and 150 controls were tested for H. pylori infection using ^13C-UBT. We compared H. pylori infection rate, liver function, complications of chronic hepatic disease, serum HBV-DNA, serum alpha-fetoprotein （AFP）, and portal hypertensive gastropathy （PHG） incidence among groups. Results： HBV-related cirrhosis was associated with the highest H. pylori infection rate （79.3%）. H. pylori infection rate in chronic HB was significantly higher than in the HBV-negative hepatic carcinoma and control groups （P 〈 0.001 ）. 11. pylori infection rate in patients with HBV-DNA ≥10^3 copies/ml was significantly higher than in those with HBV-DNA 〈103 copies/ml （76.8% vs. 52.4%, P 〈 0.001）. Prothrombin time （21.3 ± 3.5 s vs. 18.8 ±4.3 s）, total bilirubin （47.3±12.3 μmol/L vs. 26.6±7.9 μmol/L）, aspartate aminotransferase （ 184.5 ±37.6 U/L vs. 98.4 ± 23.5 U/L）, blood ammonia （93.4 ± 43.6 μmol/L vs. 35.5 ± 11.7 μmol/L）, and AFP （203.4±62.6 μg/L vs. 113.2± 45.8 μg/L） in the ^13C-UBT-positive group were significantly higher than in the ^13C-UBT-negative group （P 〈 0.01）. The incidence rates of esophageal fundus variceal bleeding （25.4% vs. 16.0%）, ascites （28.9% vs. 17.8%）, and hepatic encephalopathy （24.8% vs. 13.4%） in the ^13C-UBT-positive group were significantly higher than in the 13C-UBT-negative group （P 〈 0.01 ）. BACKGROUND Innate immunity was found to be associated with both persistence of helicobacter pylori(***)infection and increased risk of gastric *** To identify the risk factors associated with *** infection and to establish the role of TLR9 rs352140 in suppressing or promoting inflammation related to this infection in *** We performed a study of 155 children with digestive symptoms,who were divided into two groups according to the histopathological exam:Group 1–48 children with ***-induced chronic gastritis,and Group 2–control *** Rural area and poor living conditions were significantly associated with *** chronic gastritis(P=0.0042/Pinfection(P<0.0001).Significantly higher values of leukocytes and neutrophils within the peripheral blood were found in children with *** chronic gastritis(P=0.111/P=0.284).We found a significant positive correlation between the variant TT genotype of TLR9 rs352140 polymorphism and both leucocytes and neutrophils(P=0.0225/P=0.0292).CONCLUSION Variant TT genotype carriers of the TLR9 rs352140 gene polymorphism might have a more severe degree of inflammation.

Gastric mucosal tumor necrosis factor alpha and nitric oxide synthase in patients with helicobacter pylori infection

Objective To investigate the tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF α ) and nitric oxide synthase (NOS) in gastric mucosa of patients with helicobacter pylori ( H. pylori ) infection. Methods In supernatants of homogenized antral mucosal biopsy specimens taken from 32 H. pylori positive and 24 H. pylori negative patients with chronic active gastritis and 12 H. pylori negative normal controls, TNF α levels and NOS activity were measured by means of radioimmunoassay and the oxidation of oxyhaemoglobin to methaeglobin by nitric oxide was monitored spectrophotometrically. The presence of chronic active gastritis in biopsy specimens was graded using Rauws' gastritis scores. Results Gastritis scores in specimens of gastritis with and without H. pylori infection were in a similar spectrum but higher than those in normal controls. TNFa levels and NOS activity were significantly higher in H. pylori positive gastritis (TNF α 5.42 ± 2.77 fmol/mg pro, NOS 246.8 ± 70.7 pmol • mg pro- 1 • min -1 ) than those in H. pylori negative gastritis (TNF α 2.67 ± 2.18 fmol/mg pro, NOS 159.0 ± 71.4 pmol • mg pro -1 • min -1 ) and normal control specimens (TNF α 2.50 ± 2.00 fmol/mg pro, NOS 122.8 ± 57.6 pmol • mg pro -1 • min - 1 , P pylori positive gastritis, NOS activity showed positive correlations with gastritis scores (n = 32; r = 0.658, P pylori. NOS activity was further more increased after mucosa incubation with TNFa (1.0 nmol/L) in vitro for 24 hours, and the effect was inhibited significantly by the arginine analogue L-NMMA but not by the calcium chelating agent EDT
