The estimate of main guide line of steel billet temperature is all along a puzzle in the industry due to the fact that heating furnace is a multivariable nonlinear system with large inertia,net lag and crossed *** thesis proposes billet predictive model between billet temperature variable and heating process variable with improved ELM *** last,based on actual data from steel industry,reckon model *** check and error indicate that this model can forecast the temperature of entrance for billet steel before 10～25 minutes,and the error of prediction can satisfy the demand for industrial application.

In the metallurgical industry, measuring the temperature distribution directly and accurately in billet heating process is a well-known difficult work. To improve the quality of heating billet, a billet temperature prediction model of heating furnace is necessary. Based on the characteristics of furnace section partition control, this paper firstly established a billet temperature prediction model with three serial neural networks as foundation, then optimized this model with the improved dynamically self-adaptive PSO. The simulation indicated that the establishment of this model is easy, the forecast precision and speed are obviously improved, and the match degree of prediction curve and actual curve is highly increased. All of these proved the effectiveness of this model.

The heating technological requirement of the conventional PID control is difficult to guarantee which based on the precise mathematical model,because the heating furnace for heating treatment with the big inertia,the pure time delay and nonlinear *** one kind optimized variable method of PID controller based on the genetic algorithm with improved BP network that better realized the completely automatic intelligent control of the entire thermal process than the classics critical purporting(Z-N)method.A heating furnace for the object was simulated with MATLAB,simulation results show that the control system has the quicker response characteristic,the better dynamic characteristic and the quite stronger robustness,which has some promotional value for the control of industrial furnace.

Improvement of fuel consumption and maintenance of heating furnaces using a modified heating pattern

This article studies the transient heat conduction in a slab when passing through various sections of the furnace, and focuses on the thickness of the scale layer formed on the slab. The transient heat conduction behavior of a slab in various sections of the heating furnace is analyzed using the Laplace transformation method, including the pre-heating zone, the first heating zone, the second heating zone, and the soaking zone. The heating pattern of the furnace is then modified to reduce fuel consumption. The simulation results show that the scale layer formed on the slab significantly influences the quality of the hot rolled coil formed, and how the furnace parameters affect the efficiency of the furnace and the quality of the coil.

Three-Dimensional Concurrent Design System for Walking-Beam furnace

This paper focuses on the problem of low efficiency and limited non-geometric information handling ability in the process of 2D heating furnace design, proposes a 3D concurrent parametric design system, this method is realized by parametric design technology, which is supported by ActiveX-Automation technology and VBA technology, mutual visit between application programs makes batched modeling become possible, key dimensions are linked with each other by restrictions, so parts can be built concurrently by sharing few parameters between common borders, designer can be free from repeated drawing work during modification, Solid Edge is chosen as the modeling server, a secondary development software is programmed by Visual Basic, this system provides a feasible way to overlap time between different sections, the design efficiency and quality is improved significantly.

＜正＞To introduce heating principle of radiation and convection. High velocity burners with the FIB mixer can control the ratio air/gas in order to obtain the level that no flame in the furnace and in contact with steel wire, high speed heating, combustion inside, premix;no secondary reaction. The furnace leads to a very low level of gas consumption and the efficiency of furnace is approaching 50 % . Equipped with the heat exchanger that can use residual heat to produce active steam, efficiency of the furnace is up to 72 % .
