PEMFC Identification Based on a Fractional-Order hammerstein State-Space model with ADE-BH Optimization

Considering the fractional-order and nonlinear characteristics of proton exchange membrane fuel cells(PEMFC),a fractional-order subspace identification method based on the ADE-BH optimization algorithm is proposed to establish a fractional-order hammerstein state-space model of PEMFCs.Herein,a hammerstein model is constructed by connecting a linear module and a nonlinear module in series to precisely depict the nonlinear property of the PEMFC.During the modeling process,fractional-order theory is combined with subspace identification,and a Poisson filter is adopted to enable multi-order derivability of the data.A variable memory method is introduced to reduce computation time without losing precision.Additionally,to improve the optimization accuracy and avoid obtaining locally optimum solutions,a novel ADEBH algorithm is employed to optimize the unknown parameters in the identification method.In this algorithm,the Euclidean distance serves as the theoretical basis for updating the target vector in the absorption-generation operation of the black hole(BH)algorithm.Finally,simulations demonstrate that the proposed model has small output error and high accuracy,indicating that the model can accurately describe the electrical characteristics of the PEMFC process.

Identification and nonlinear model predictive control of MIMO hammerstein system with constraints

This work is concerned with identification and nonlinear predictive control method for MIMO hammerstein systems with constraints. Firstly, an identification method based on steady-state responses and sub-model method is introduced to MIMO hammerstein system. A modified version of artificial bee colony algorithm is proposed to improve the prediction ability of hammerstein model. Next, a computationally efficient nonlinear model predictive control algorithm(MGPC) is developed to deal with constrained problem of MIMO system. The identification process and performance of MGPC are shown. Numerical results about a polymerization reactor validate the effectiveness of the proposed method and the comparisons show that MGPC has a better performance than QDMC and basic GPC.

In acs paper,the generalized predictive control(GPC)law for hammerstein model with control horizon NU=1 is presented and the algebraic equation satisfied by the GPC law is derived.Also,the simulation study shows tha tthe GPC based on hammerstein system is such and algorithm which can be controlled by numerical computer with rather strong Robustness but without strict demand for the model.

modeling and control methods for systems with dynamic hysteresis are proposed in this paper based on a type of hammerstein models. Experiments are conducted on a typical dynamic hysteresis system, i.e., a giant magnetostrictive actuator.The modeling, real-time tracking, and real-time active vibration control results are presented. These results verify the effectiveness and accuracy of the modeling and control methods based on the hammerstein model.

＜正＞A novel LSSVM-ARX Hammerstem model structure is proposed for a continuous stirred tank reactor （CSTR）.LSSVM with a radial basis function（RBF） kernel is used to represent the static nonlinear block in the Hammerstem model.The dynamic linear part of the model is realized by a linear autoregression model with exogenous input（ARX）.The linear model parameters and the static nonlinearity can be obtained simultaneously by solving a set of linear equations followed by singular value decomposition.Identification results of CSTR indicate that the proposed hammerstein model has higher prediction accuracy in comparison with the traditional hammerstein model,and it can approximate the dynamic behavior of the plant efficiently.

In this paper,a hammerstein model is proposed to describe the rate-dependent hysteresis in piezoceramic actuator.The generalized Bouc-Wen model is utilized to describe the static nonlinear characteristic while a linear dynamic model is constructed to capture the rate-dependent property of the hysteresis.Firstly,the generalized Bouc-Wen model parameters are identified by Differential Evolution(DE) algorithm and the linear dynamic model parameters are identified by recursive least squares(RLS) algorithm.Based on the hammerstein model,an Internal model Controller combined with inverse hysteresis compensation which is connected in cascade with the piezoceramic actuator to linearize the system is proposed for real-time tracking control.Finally,the modeling experimental results show that the proposed model can describe the hysteresis loops better and have good generalization ability.The control experimental results show that the proposed control strategy has better tracking accuracy and real-time ability.

Commercial piezoelectric actuated stages usually has been decoupling designed from the mechanical structure. This paper develops a piezoelectric actuated stage（P-563.3CD） experiment platform. Observed cross-coupling effect in the piezostage is below 1%. In order to improve the performance of piezo-stage in a further step, a multi-channel hammerstein model is developed to describe the cross-coupling nonlinearity. Further more, the position voltage is introduced into hammerstein model to modify the performance of the proposed approach. To the end, verification experiments are exhibited.

In this paper, the hammerstein fault prediction modeling based on least squares support vector machines （LS-SVM） is presented for the prediction the key parameters of the imperial smelting furnace （ISF）. ISF is a nonlinear, multi-input and multi-output （MIMO） system that is difficult to model by the classical methods. Due to the particularly simple structure of the hammerstein model and the generalization performance of LS-SVM, a hammerstein model using LS-SVM is built and applied to the ISF. The simulation research shows this model adapts well to the change of parameters, provides accurate prediction and is with desirable application value.

In this paper, the modeling of liquid contaminant fluid dynamics for the associated emission-diffusion process induced by environmental changes is investigated. Due to the contaminants and large fluid liquids interaction, the contaminant diffusion causes the concentration structure to be strong uncertainty. Parameters related to the contaminants concentration distribution,including the emission, concentration, and free flow speed are varied to investigate the characteristics of the contaminant diffusion flow. Motivated by the slowly time-varying properties of the contaminant emission diffusion process, recursive identification of hammerstein structures is investigated to construct a model of liquid contaminant concentration diffusion process in the rivers flows. The unknown parameters in the model are estimated by using the given data and an algorithm is given for the choice of the appropriate number and type of autoregressive terms, changing trend terms, etc., in the model, which the models of the river flows is constructed by using daily and yearly data. The linear and nonlinear parameters are separated and estimated recursively in a parallel manner, with each updating algorithm using the most up-to-date estimation produced by the other algorithm at each time instant. Finally, the constructed model is tested from the environmental fluid dynamics data based on finite element method.

＜正＞An identification method of hammerstein model is investigated in this paper.First of all,the key term separation technique is introduced.Next,an auxiliary model is established.Accordingly,the identification problem of the hammerstein model is cast as nonlinear function optimization problem over parameter space.Then,the estimation values of the parameters of the model are obtained based on particle swarm optimization（PSO） algorithm.In order to further enhance the precision and stability of the identification algorithm,a modified particle swarm optimization （MPSO） algorithm is applied to search the parameter space to find the optimal parametric estimation values of the model. Finally,simulation experiments show that the proposed algorithm is effective and reasonable.
