In the ELMy H-mode experiment,naturally occurring dust originating at the high-field side is clearly observed using the high-speed vacuum ultraviolet imaging system developed on the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak(EAST).The main ablation cloud shape is similar to the classical shape observed in pellet fueling experiments.However,during the dust penetration,an erupted secondary cloudlet with a bent‘cigar’shape is observed and moves upwards along the direction perpendicular to the magnetic field line,which is different to the obviation in the pellet fueling experiments.This may be due to the ion diamagnetic drift effect.The velocities of the secondary cloudlet are estimated to be 50–80 m s^(-1).In addition,a significant degradation of the plasma confinement is observed during the dust penetration.

Long-term potentiation （LTP） at synapses between primary afferents and spinal dorsal horn neurons induced by noxious electrical stimulation or injury of peripheral nerve is con- sidered to underlie chronic pain [1]. The mechanisms of the spinal LTP have been intensively investigated, since it was discovered in 1995 [2]. In recent years, spinal application of ATP [3], brain-derived neurotrophic factor （BDNF） [4] and opioid [5] has been shown to induce spinal LTP at C-fiber synapses in the absence of conditioning activation of primary afferents. This is contrary to the general belief that coinci- dent pre- and postsynaptic activity is needed for LTP induction. Recently, Sandkiihler and his co-workers reported in Science that combined activation of microglia and astro- cytes by P2X7 receptor agonist BzATP induces LTP at synapses between afferent C-fibers and spinal lamina I neurons in the absence of presynaptic activation, which is termed gliogenic LTP [6] （Fig. 1C）. To determine the rela- tionship between the gliogenic LTP and high frequency stimulation （hfs）-indueed LTP, they used transverse lum- bar spinal cord slices with long dorsal roots which were separated into halves. Twenty two lamina I neurons that received independent monosynaptic C-fiber inputs from each dorsal root half were recorded. Homosynaptic LTP is recorded in 12 neurons, among them 6 neurons also show heterosynaptic LTP （Fig. 1A）. Interestingly, heterosynaptic LTP is also induced in 5 neurons in which hfs fails to induce homosynaptic LTP （Fig. 1B）.

Pyrex glasses with different ZnS: Mn2+ contents were prepared by melting method. It has been found that Mn ion may occupy two sites: (Mn2+)sub and (Mn2+)int from photoluminescene （PL） and photoluminescence excitation （PLE） spectra. The results were confirmed by the further electron paramagnetic resonance （EPR） experiments and the three types of states (Mn2+)sub, (Mn2+)int and Mn clusters were identified. It was observed that the gfactor and the hyperfine structure （hfs） constant increase with the decreasing size of nanocrystallite. This may result from hybridization of sp3 electron states of ZnS and 3d5 electron states of Mn by the effects of quantum confinement and the surface states.

Zeeman effect at the hyperfine level of the rovibronic ground state of I35Cl are determined on the basis of ｜I1JF1I2FMF｜ via an effective Hamiltonian matrix diagonalization method. Perturbations of the Zeeman sub- levels are observed and the perturbation selection rules are summarized as well. Several potential applications of such Zeeman effect are suggested.

In neurodegenerative disorders such as Parkinson＇s disease （PD）, deep brain stimulation （DBS） is a desirable approach when the medication is less effective for treating the symptoms. DBS incorporates transferring electrical pulses to a specific tissue of the central nervous system, obtaining therapeutic results by modulating the neuronal activity of that region. DBS has certain advantages such as reversibility and adjustability features over medication, since the neuronal firing patterns can be recorded and used to alter the parameters of the DBS signal （Benabid et al., 2009）. One of the DBS indications is its ability to suppress the abnormal neuronal activity to treat symptoms like tremor, akinesia and dystonia.

Measurement of the wavelength modulation indices with selective reflection spectroscopy

With the rapid development of network communication line speed,the switching ability of the Switch/Router has been a key factor restricting the performance of the Internet.A novel switching technique called the Ethernet-oriented Physical Frame Timeslot Switching,short for EPFTS,over DWDM is introduced to improve switching efficiency for user data and to provide better QoS（Quality of Service）.EPFTS is a kind of improvement making adjustment from serial processing mode to parallel processing mode in virtual circuit switch technology.This paper proposes a framework of hierarchical multicast combined with the characteristics of the EPFTS technology and designs a multicast system of Ethernet-oriented Physical Frame supporting QoS,which is suitable for backbone network over DWDM.The fringe benefit of the multicast techniques is that the flow payload would be balanced between links in the multicast tree.

The wavelength modulation indices are measured based on harmonic amplitude ratio of 4famp/6famp (4famp and 6famp are the 4- and 6-th harmonic central peak amplitudes correspondingly) with the Doppler-free selective reflection modulation spectroscopy. The experiments for the 6S1/2(F = 4) → 6P3/2(F' = 5) transition of cesium D2 line with 30-MHz linewidth were carried out. The 4f- and 6f-harmonic signals were detected with two digital lock-in amplifiers separately. The maximum error for modulation indices measurement was ±0.1 within the range of m from 3 to 6. The non-linear modulation behaviour of an external cavity diode laser induced by voltage tuning was studied with this method. The method for modulation indices measurement does not require a solid etalon as usual for measuring the wavelength modulation depth and the absorption linewidth correspondingly.

目的　研究高频率刺激 ( high frequency stimulation,hfs)及压迫追加的动态负荷下双节段受压马尾神经血流量的变化 ,探讨神经源性间歇跛行的发病机制。　方法　 SD大鼠 30只 ,分成 5组 ,每组 6只。均行单纯 L5椎板切除 ,检测血流量 1小时后 ,将 4个实验组制成 L4 及 L6 节段 30 %的双节段狭窄。施加静态压迫 2小时后 ,实验 1组不施加动态负荷 ( dynamic burden,DB) ;实验 2组只施加 hfs 6分钟 ;实验 3组同时施加 hfs和压迫追加 6分钟 ;实验 4组只行压迫追加 6分钟 ;对照组为单纯 L5椎板切除及 hfs 6分钟。应用激光多普勒血流仪检测马尾神经血流量。　结果对照组马尾神经血流量在最初 2小时无显著变化 ,施加 hfs时显著升高至初始值的 186 .4 %± 31.5 % ( P0 .0 5 ) ;实验 2组血流量无显著变化 111.6 %± 17.6 % (与初始值比较 ,P>0 .0 5 ) ;实验 3组血流量降至初始值的 6 5 .3%± 10 .7% ( P0 .0 5 )。　结论　神经电活动增加时 ,马尾神经双节段压迫可造成其相对缺血 ;若压迫程度同时增加 ,马尾神经血流量显著降低。
