The modern acoustic circuits have experienced significant progress with the development of artificial structures, including phononic crystals, metamaterials or metasurfaces. Among the most intensive topics, the reconfigurable acoustic guides are achieved through several mechanisms. In this work, we report on the rainbow guiding for the lowest-order antisymmetric Lamb(A_0) mode in a phononic crystal plate, where the linear waveguides are constituted by erecting aligned pillars either solid or hollow. We show both numerically and experimentally that the whispering gallery modes(WGMs) in the hollow pillars can be generated by the defect mode that propagates in the waveguide. Then, the reemission of A_0 mode by the WGMs to the outer lateral areas can lead to spatial control of frequency selective wave guidance called "rainbow guiding". Our approach allows for an accurate control of the wave guiding and facilitates the integration of waveguides within other devices in the acoustic circuits.

This paper demonstrates the triggering and guiding of the stationary high voltage （HV） discharges at 5-40kV by using plasma filaments generated by femtosecond laser pulses in air. A significant reduction of the breakdown voltage threshold due to the pre-ionization of the air gap by laser filamentation is observed. The discharge experiments are performed by using laser pulses with different energy from 15-60 mJ. The electron density of filaments is detected by sonography method. The influence of the electron density of laser filaments on the triggering and guiding HV discharge is experimentally investigated. The results have shown that the behaviour of plasma filaments can strongly affect the efficiency of triggering and guiding HV discharge.

This study is aimed to explore the clinical application of the guiding template designed by three-dimensional printing data for the insertion of sacroiliac screws.A retrospective study of 7 cases (from July 2016 to December 2016),in which the guiding template printed by the three-dimensional printing technique was used for the insertion of sacroiliac screws of patients with posterior ring injuries of pelvis,was ***,4 males and 3 females were included in template group,aged from 38to 65years old (mean 50.86±8.90).Of them,5 had sacral fractures (3 with Denis type Ⅰ and 2 with type Ⅱ)and 2 the separation of sacroiliac *** templates were firstly made by the three-dimensional printing technique based on the pre-operative CT data. Surgical operations for the stabilization of pelvic ring by applying the guiding templates were carried out.A group of 8 patients with sacroiliac injuries treated by percutaneous sacroiliac screws were analyzed as a control group *** time of each screw insertion,volume of intra-operative blood loss,and the exposure to X ray were analyzed and the Matta's radiological criteria were used to evaluate the reduction *** Majeed score was used to evaluate postoperative living *** visual analogue scale (VAS)was applied at different time points to judge pain relief of *** the 7 patients in the template group were closely followed up radiographically and clinically for 14 to 20 months,mean (16.57±2.44)*** 9 sacroiliac screws for the S 1 and S2 vertebra were inserted in the 7 *** time length for each screw insertion ranged from 450 to 870 s,mean (690.56±135.68)s,and the number of times of exposure to X ray were 4 to 8,mean (5.78±1.20).The intra-operative blood loss ranged from 45to 120 mL,mean (75±23.32)*** to Matta's radiology criteria,the fracture and dislocation reduction were excellent in 6cases and good in *** pre-operative VAS score ranged from 5.2 to 8.1

We demonstrate both experimentally and theoretically the trapping and guiding of a weak signal pulse via a selfaccelerating Airy pulse. This is achieved by launching the Airy pulse in the anomalous dispersion regime of an optical fiber, thereby inducing a gravity-like potential that can compel the signal pulse in the normal dispersion regime to undergo co-acceleration. Such guiding pulse by pulse can be controlled at ease simply by altering the acceleration conditions of the Airy pulse. Furthermore, the guided signal can be featured with either single or double peaks, which is explained by using the theory of fundamental and second-order quasi-modes associated with the gravity-like potential. Our work represents, to our knowledge, the first demonstration of pulse guiding in the anomalous dispersion regime of any self-accelerating pulse.

With the increasing number of laser beams, the main difficulty in arranging beam guiding systems(BGSs) involves determining the corresponding relationships between the output and input ports to realize the identified light path length of all beams. Given the basic constraints of geometric arrangement, a BGS model is established, and a base-line algorithm is proposed to address the difficulty mentioned above. Boundary conditions of target area and target chamber are discussed to increase the number of laser beams, and a maximum value exists for a specific target area. Finally, the compatibility of a cylindrical hohlraum target chamber with a spherical hohlraum is analyzed, and a moveable final optics assembly is proposed to execute the switch between the two different targets.

Objective: Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) via the radial artery access has more advantages than that of femoral artery access, while radial or (and) brachial artery have tendency to be spasmodic. We sought to investigate the effectiveness and safety of guiding catheter crossing over spasmodic radial or (and) brachial artery segments by the aid of PCI wire and balloon compared with traditional anti-spasmodic approach. Methods: The clinical data of 168 patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) (group A), whose PCI was performed via radial artery access with radial or (and) brachial artery spasm or (and) dissection and guiding catheter passing through spasmodic segments successfully by the aid of PCI guiding wire and balloon were analyzed retrospectively, simultaneously, the other 73 patients (group B) who used conventional approach to cross over the spasmodic radial or (and) brachial artery segments were treated as the control. The success rate, the time consumption and the complication were compared between the two groups. Findings: There was no significant difference in the spasmodic site between the two groups (all p value > 0.05). The success rate in group A was significantly higher than that in group B (168(100%) vs 28 (38.4%), p (4.2%) vs 14 (19.2%), p Conclusions: It is more effective and safer for guiding catheter crossing over spasmodic or (and) dissected radial or (and) brachial artery segments by the aid of PCI guiding wire and balloon than using the routine approach of administration of anti-spasm drugs for trans-radial PCI.
