Group IV semiconductor alloys and heterostructures such as Si Ge,Ge Sn,Ge/Si and Si Ge:C have been widely used and under extensive research for applications in major microelectronic and photonic devices.In the growth and processing of these materials,nanometer scale interdiffusion is common,which is generally undesirable for device performance.With higher Ge molar fractions and higher compressive strains,Si-Ge interdiffusion can be much faster than dopant diffusion.However,Si-Ge interdiffusion behaviors have not been well understood until recent years.Much less studies are available for Ge Sn.This review starts with basic properties and the applications of major Group IV semiconductors,and then reviews the progress made so far on Si-Ge and Ge-Sn interdiffusion behaviors.Theories,experimental methods,design and practical considerations are discussed together with the key findings in this field.

The simplified neutrosophic set(SNS) is a useful generalization of the fuzzy set that is designed for some practical situations in which each element has different truth membership function, indeterminacy membership function and falsity membership function. In this paper, we develop a series of power aggregation operators called simplified neutrosophic number power weighted averaging(SNNPWA) operator, simplified neutrosophic number power weighted geometric(SNNPWG) operator, simplified neutrosophic number power ordered weighted averaging(SNNPOWA) operator and simplified neutrosophic number power ordered weighted geometric(SNNPOWG) operator. We present some useful properties of the operators and discuss the relationships among them. Moreover, an approach to multiattribute Group decision making(MAGDM) within the framework of SNSs is developed by the above aggregation operators.Finally, a practical application of the developed approach to deal with the problem of investment is given, and the result shows that our approach is reasonable and effective in dealing with uncertain decision making problems.

This study mainly investigates the mechanical mechanism of overlying strata breaking and the development of fractured zones during close-distance coal seam Group mining in the Gaojialiang coal mine.First,a mechanical model for the second"activation"of broken overlying strata is established,and the related mechanical"activation"conditions are obtained.A recursive formula for calculating the separation distance of overlying strata is deduced.Second,a height determining method for predicting the height of fractured zones during close-distance coal seam Group mining is proposed based on two values,namely,the separation distance and ultimate subsidence value of overlying strata.This method is applied to calculate the fractured zone heights in nos.20107 and 20307 mining faces.The calculated results are almost equal to the field observation results.Third,a modified formula for calculating the height of a waterflowing fractured zone is proposed.A comparison of the calculated and observed results shows that the errors are small.The height determining method and modified formula not only build a theoretical foundation for water conservation mining at the Gaojialiang coal mine,but also provide a reference for estimating the height of water-flowing fractured zones in other coal mines with similar conditions.

For the problems of the consistency ranking of the Group decision-making scheme,from the view of Group negotiation and system coordination,the grey incidence analysis and Nash bargaining model are used to establish a consistency Group decision-making method.First,the concepts of the consensus partial decision-making program and the consensus overall ideal decision-making program are defined,and then a multi-object optimization model is constructed based on the satisfaction maximization of Group negotiation and deviation minimization of system coordination to determine the consensus partial decision-making program and the consensus overall ideal decision-making program.Moreover,the grey incidence analysis is exploited to measure the close degrees between them.Finally,a real case of the online product evaluation verifies the validity and rationality of the proposed model.

BACKGROUND High mobility Group box-1 (HMGB1), recognized as a representative of damageassociated molecular patterns, is released during cell injury/death, triggering the inflammatory response and ultimately resulting in tissue damage. Dozens of studies have shown that HMGB1 is involved in certain diseases, but the details on how injured hepatocytes release HMGB1 need to be elicited. AIM To reveal HMGB1 release mechanism in hepatocytes undergoing oxidative stress. METHODS C57BL6/J male mice were fed a high-fat diet for 12 wk plus a single binge of ethanol to induce severe steatohepatitis. Hepatocytes treated with H2O2 were used to establish an in vitro model. Serum alanine aminotransferase, liver H2O2 content and catalase activity, lactate dehydrogenase and 8-hydroxy-2- deoxyguanosine content, nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) levels, and Sirtuin 1 (Sirt1) activity were detected by spectrophotometry. HMGB1 release was measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay. HMGB1 translocation was observed by immunohistochemistry/immunofluorescence or Western blot. Relative mRNA levels were assayed by qPCR and protein expression was detected by Western blot. Acetylated HMGB1 and poly(ADP-ribose)polymerase 1 (Parp1) were analyzed by Immunoprecipitation. RESULTS When hepatocytes were damaged, HMGB1 translocated from the nucleus to the cytoplasm because of its hyperacetylation and was passively released outside both in vivo and in vitro. After treatment with Sirt1-siRNA or Sirt1 inhibitor (EX527), the hyperacetylated HMGB1 in hepatocytes increased, and Sirt1 activity inhibited by H2O2 could be reversed by Parp1 inhibitor (DIQ). Parp1 and Sirt1 are two NAD+-dependent enzymes which play major roles in the decision of a cell to live or die in the context of stress . We showed that NAD+ depletion attributed to Parp1 activation after DNA damage was caused by oxidative stress in hepatocytes and resulted in Sirt1 activity inhibition. Pythagorean fuzzy set(PFS) can provide more flexibility than intuitionistic fuzzy set(IFS) for handling uncertain information, and PFS has been increasingly used in multi-attribute decision making problems. This paper proposes a new multiattribute Group decision making method based on Pythagorean uncertain linguistic variable Hamy mean(PULVHM) operator and VIKOR method. Firstly, we define operation rules and a new aggregation operator of Pythagorean uncertain linguistic variable(PULV) and explore some properties of the operator.Secondly, taking the decision makers' hesitation degree into account, a new score function is defined, and we further develop a new Group decision making approach integrated with VIKOR method. Finally, an investment example is demonstrated to elaborate the validity of the proposed method. Sensibility analysis and comprehensive comparisons with another two methods are performed to show the stability and advantage of our method.

The Langjiexue Group is an in situ sedimentary sequence rather than an exotic block: Constraints from coeval Upper Triassic strata of the Tethys Himalaya(Qulonggongba Formation)

The Upper Triassic Langjiexue Group in southeastern Tibet has long been an enigmatic geological unit. It belongs tectonically to the northern Tethys Himalayan zone, but provenance signatures of the detritus it contains are significantly different from those of typical Tethys Himalayan sandstones. Because the Langjiexue Group is everywhere in fault contact with Tethys Himalayan strata, its original paleogeographic position has remained controversial for a long time. According to some researchers, the Langjiexue Group was deposited onto the northern edge of the Indian passive continental margin, whereas others interpreted it as an independent block accreted to the northern Indian margin only during final India-Asia convergence and collision in the Paleocene. This study compares the Langjiexue Group and coeval Upper Triassic strata of the southern Tethys Himalayan zone(Qulonggongba Formation). Our new provenance data indicate that Qulonggongba Formation sandstones contain common felsic volcanic rock fragments, minor plagioclase, and euhedral to subhedral zircon grains yielding Late Paleozoic to Triassic ages. These provenance features compare well with those of the Langjiexue Group. Because the Qulonggongba Formation certainly belongs to the Tethys Himalayan zone, the provenance similarity with the Langjiexue Group indicates that the latter is also an in situ Tethys Himalayan sedimentary sequence rather than part of an exotic block. Volcanic detritus including Late Paleozoic to Triassic zircon grains in both Langjiexue Group and Qulonggongba Formation are interpreted to have been derived from the distant Gondwanide orogen generated by Pan-Pacific subduction beneath the southeastern margin of Gondwana. The Qulonggongba Formation, deposited above marlstones of the lower Upper Triassic Tulong Group, is overlain by India-derived coastal quartzose sandstones of the uppermost Triassic Derirong Formation. Feature selection has attracted a great deal of interest over the past decades. By selecting meaningful feature subsets, the performance of learning algorithms can be effectively improved. Because label information is expensive to obtain, unsupervised feature selection methods are more widely used than the supervised ones. The key to unsupervised feature selection is to find features that effectively reflect the underlying data distribution. However,due to the inevitable redundancies and noise in a dataset, the intrinsic data distribution is not best revealed when using all features. To address this issue, we propose a novel unsupervised feature selection algorithm via joint local learning and Group sparse regression(JLLGSR). JLLGSR incorporates local learning based clustering with Group sparsity regularized regression in a single formulation, and seeks features that respect both the manifold structure and Group sparse structure in the data space. An iterative optimization method is developed in which the weights finally converge on the important features and the selected features are able to improve the clustering results. Experiments on multiple real-world datasets(images, voices, and web pages) demonstrate the effectiveness of JLLGSR.
