Response of Indonesian mineral supply to global renewable energy generation:Analysis based on gravity model approach

The captivating surge of energy transitions in the major industrialized nations has elevated the global demand for critical *** demand pattern has enabled mineral-abundant emerging economies like Indonesia to enter the international market by exporting mineral ***,we investigate the Indonesian mineral export supply's response to the renewable energy production of the 18 clean energy-generating countries,considering crude oil and mineral prices,exchange rates,and economic growth of the resource and importer countries from 1990 to *** doing so,we apply the Poisson Pseudo-maximum Likelihood(PPML)approach to measuring the panel gravity model for mineral exports in *** a result,we observe a significant response of Indonesia's mineral export supply to the renewable energy generation of the 18 mineral importing ***,mineral and crude oil prices are insignificant,whereas the importer countries'exchange rates and income growth positively influence Indonesia's mineral export ***,Indonesia's income factor negatively affects its mineral export ***,we validate our results using an alternative estimator,the Driscoll-Kraay robust standard error estimation ***,our findings suggest implementing Indonesia's existing mineral policy to produce finished mineral goods to materialize the worldwide vision of energy transitions toward a crossroad of net-zero emissions by the middle of the current century.

A novel method for identifying influential nodes in complex networks based on gravity model

How to identify influential nodes in complex networks is an essential issue in the study of network characteristics.A number of methods have been proposed to address this problem,but most of them focus on only one *** on the gravity model,a novel method is proposed for identifying influential nodes in terms of the local topology and the global *** method comprehensively examines the structural hole characteristics and K-shell centrality of nodes,replaces the shortest distance with a probabilistically motivated effective distance,and fully considers the influence of nodes and their neighbors from the aspect of *** eight real-world networks from different fields,the monotonicity index,susceptible-infected-recovered(SIR)model,and Kendall’s tau coefficient are used as evaluation criteria to evaluate the performance of the proposed method compared with several existing *** experimental results show that the proposed method is more efficient and accurate in identifying the influence of nodes and can significantly discriminate the influence of different nodes.

Reducing Influence of gravity model Error in Precise Orbit Determination of Low Earth Orbit Satellites

Based on the orbit integration and orbit fitting method, the influence of the characters of the gravity model, with different precisions, on the movement of low Earth orbit satellites was studied. The way and the effect of absorbing the influence of gravity model error on CHAMP and GRACE satellite orbits, using linear and periodical empirical acceleration models and the so-called "pseudo-stochastic pulses" model, were also analyzed.

International trade is an integral part of development and growth of an *** bilateral trade,providing right institutional structures and policies,reduction in tariffs and improvements in the infrastructure results in enhancing the economic *** a developing country,foreign trade is of great significance to Pakistan’is economic development.A country’s trade is not only dependent on its own trade facilitation reforms but also on those of the trading ***,my research is focused on the impact of trade facilitation on Pakistan’s imports from 14 Asian *** order to understand the impact of trade facilitation on Pakistan’s import flows,this paper uses the gravity model to analyze the import structure by employing panel regression following endogeneity test,the pooled ordinary least squares and random effects model on the dataset for the time period of *** index of trade facilitation has been calculated by 12 indicators by the method of Principle Component Analysis to examine the impact of trade *** results portray that trade facilitation of Pakistan has negative impact on the imports of Pakistan from these 14 Asian countries,but the trade facilitation of exporting countries is statistically *** addition to that,GDP of the exporting countries is statistically ***,distance between the countries tends to have no impact on the import *** the dummy variable border is significant.

Pakistan and China enjoy a cordial relationship over the *** decades-long history of friendly relationship in both countries bore the fruits in the form of Pakistan–China free-trade agreement（PCFTA）in 2006 signed in Nov.2006 and effect from July *** primary purpose of the study is to analyses Pakistan’s bilateral trade performance and influence of this Free Trade Agreement（FTA）with China and also its FTA partner nations by implementing gravity model of trade in a balanced panel dataset dealing with the period *** model used for the analysis of data which is a typically used tool for the evaluation of bilateral trade activities and also showed to be useful in describing bilateral trade of Pakistan with China and with all Free Trade Agreement（FTA）-partner countries by higher values of *** outcomes showed that GDP,trade openness in each country,WTO and the shared border nations positively influenced on Pakistan’s bilateral trade with all FTA-partner nations,while distance and inflation showed a negative relation towards trade *** additionally specified that the overall Trade Agreements PTAs impact on bilateral trade of Pakistan along with its FTA-partner nations is strongly significant and *** have also estimated enormous Pakistan’s trade potential just in case of *** Pakistan also can lessen its total trade deficit by deflecting its exports out of traditional or conventional destinations towards China,and it is a market of over millions of *** can be accomplished by boosting private sector of Pakistan to improve its business procedures and policies,spend money on innovative work,enhance human capital,look for international quality accreditations,and furthermore meet quality criteria as anticipated by the *** sectors of Pakistan,as well as exporters,must take on new steps to increase and maximize the exports to China and to generate sensible equality in the bilateral trading relationshi

The Impact of Cambodia-ASEAN Free Trade Agreement on Trade Flow: An Application of the gravity model

This paper attempts to focus on the dynamic impact of the ASEAN free trade area(AFTAs) on Cambodia’s trade and prediction of the trade potential of *** is a small country and a member of ASEAN located in the Southeast Asia witha year-by-year economic and trade development since it became a member of theAssociation of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in1999and WTO (World TradeOrganization) in2004. For Cambodia, economic integration with regional and worldeconomies is seen as one of the national strategies for reconstruction and ***’s accession to ASEAN is considered to be the turning point for Cambodia tointegrate its whole national economics through investment and trade, which have beenmajor driving force for Cambodia’s growth and economic development. This studyreveals and tests how Cambodia’s accession to ASEAN affects its bilateral trade withother countries by using the gravity model of trade specifically adopted for the study ofCambodian trade, and then estimating Cambodia’s trade potential. Panel data for theperiod2000-2010across31countries is employed in the analysis. The coefficient of thegravity model for trade obtained from the model is then used to predict Cambodia’s tradepotential. The results of this empirical study reveal that ASEAN (AFTA) membership hashad a significant effect in increasing Cambodia’s bilateral trade with other ASEANmember countries by3.2percent for the past decade, but doesn’t divert its bilateral tradefrom outside the ASEAN bloc to inside the ASEAN bloc. Likewise, the results also provethat Cambodia’s trade potential is highest with countries in the South East Asian Nationsand East Asia. Specifically, the maximum potential trade exists with Indonesia, Thailandand the Philippines, China, Japan, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan. This paper reconsiders the roles of China and some developed countries in the network of carbon emission transfers via international trade in value added from a new perspective of network *** search intensity(NSI)and the extended gravity model are used with cross-country panel data to analyze the mechanism of China's engagement in network governance of carbon emission *** results show that from 2000 to 2009,China was a net exporter of carbon emissions,even though it shifted from the semi-periphery to the core in the network of carbon emissions embodied in ***,NSI had a significant positive impact on carbon emissions embodied in *** China's important role in the global production network and division of labor,NSI may also affect industrial structure and the quality of the ecological environment to a large *** study analyses the network governance mechanism of China's participation in global carbon *** results suggest that the technical complexity of export products and product heterogeneity do not change the positive impact of NSI on carbon emissions.
